Seeds germed in moist paper towel placed in sealable container and placed in back of kitchen cabinet dark location. Fully sprouted 3 days after. Seeds placed in rockwool blocks in (3) 5 gallon bucket setup surrounded by hydroton for growing medium. Each bucket has small pump, air pump and 4 cap fulls of each (2) nutes. I’m testing rather the spray nozzle is better or continuous flow. Better pics will follow I know the grow light pics suck.
Day 8- Not much growth so far but beginning week 2.
Day 9- little more growth it’s interesting to see what one day makes and the non drip nozzle is growing at a faster rate. I would assume because it’s getting more nutes but we’ll go this full term and see what we get.
Day 10- starting to see some noticeable growth last few days. The one with no drip nozzle is obviously doing better now. I will label the plants for pics so it’s easier to track progress here.
Day 11- small changes but one is lagging behind growth already. I have numbered them and you will see growth throughout the grow specific to each plant. I am considering taking the drip nozzles off the two that have them and just letting it free flow. Will decide tomorrow after seeing growth.
Day 12- looks like number 1 has some nute issue I believe, I’m gonna stick it out until I change water/nutes. Number 2 & 3 seem to be growing on schedule. All 3 are developing another set of leaves so that’s good. Pics suck this week but I’ll do better tomorrow.
Day 13- seeing growth in 2 & 3 and today starting seeing some yellow spots on plant 1. I’m pretty sure it’s nute issues but we will confirm In the upcoming flush. Over happy I’m happy with all three. I will be removing the drip nozzles after the flush since it appears 3 which has no nozzle is progressing better.
Day 15- sorry skipped day 14 due to the holidays. Big increase of about 1/2 inch just within that 48 hour span. Number 1 still showing some minor nute burn but the flush should help in a few days. They look healthy nozzles come off tomorrow. Merry Christmas Eve.
Day 16- Merry Christmas! Noticeable growth from all plants today. They are growing wide more than tall but that’s perfect. Thanks for following!
Day 17- Tiny bit of growth since yesterday but they are starting to get the smell now. New leafs are forming underneath. The last two pics are from plant 1 I believe this is the nute burn I was referring to a few days ago. It’s just on the original leaves so it’s not worrying me yet. Will monitor and have more photos tomorrow. Thanks.
Day 18- growth continues horizontally. Not sure why it’s growing more out than y’all but I’ll take it for now. It’s been a very busy time since the holidays so I am just not getting around to getting the nozzles off and I think I’m going to wait until end of week 3 to do a nute/water change. Original leaves are still curling on all 3 now so I believe it’s just a change that is imminent and not a nute problem. Feel free to give some constructive criticism.
Day 19- officially worried about number 1, the leaves and the growth appears to have slowed. Number 2 & 3 are growing like crazy. Still planning on flush and nozzle change in a few days. Some nute burn it appears and leaves curling. Smell is definitely getting stronger. Stay tuned.
Day 20- ok I’m debating on doing the flush lasted today as the curling has gotten a little bit worse. Overall growth at this point I’m happy with but don’t want to screw it up at week 3. I keep forgetting to put light down there so you guys can see the plants better, I’m not staying on top of this like I planned. Adios until tomorrow.
Day 21- changed water, lowered nute levels and removed drip nozzle. The water pump on plant number two is not working so I will be troubleshooting that today. Hopefully the new cold or lower nutrient solution will heal the damage.
Day 22- the plants appear to be doing good and reviving. Plant 1 &3 has some dry dead leaves that I will probably just cut off today. Plant 2 seems healthy and happy no sign of dry/damaged issues yet. Water pump on 2 repaired and back on. Some pics of each plant in grow light and camera flash as well as some pics of leaf burn. Stay tuned.
Day 23- trimmed some of the dry/dead leaves from plant 1. Plant 1 might be stunted we will see. Play 2 is perfect and plant 3 does have some damaged leaves but I left them because they aren’t dry yet and could be repairing the plant from my wrath. Some closeups today of 2 & 3 just for the hell of it. Recreational marijuana use is now legal as of today. Enjoy
Day 24- plant two still looks really good. Plants 1 & 3 are worrying me. More dried leaves and I’m trying to troubleshoot. It’s hydro so it’s not under watering, light is now 30inches above top of plant and I dropped nute levels. Only other thing I can think of is humidity. I don’t have a humidity tester since this is one of my first grows. The others didn’t grow well or were disturbed. I took the continuous flow tube from top and pointed it to the roots so well see if this helps.
Day 25- still seeing more slight spread of burn on the leaves. Moved the light up another 6 inches. I also places a fan on the 3 plants to help push the air along. Plant 2 is still doing wonderful. Well see what tomorrow brings.
Day 26-officially worried about 1&3 with the spots. Looks like the dryness of the leaves is not just on the bottom original leaves like I hoped. At this point it has to be humidity that is causing the curling. Everything else seems ok. I cut the dead leaves off if they have more than half damage.
