Pineapple Express - FastBuds

Day 1 - 12/12/19 This is like that movie Pineapple Express. which i cant wait to watch like 3 times when i harvest this :'D Planted directly into the soil as the jiffy pellets i had wouldnt soften up. Using some cheap plastic pots as they worked fine in my last diary. Id like to say a big thank you to FastBuds for this opportunity and for getting these beans here in perfect condition. the packaging for these seeds has to be the best ive come across! Day 19 - 30/12/19 im back from my christmas break now and my pineapple express auto has been doing fine. might have given slightly too much nitrogen but thats okay. Cant wait to try this strain!

Day 32 - 12/01/20 Everythings going fine for the Pineapple Express 🍍 I swapped out the bungee cords holding my grow light for rope rachets today. it wasnt hanging level so i still needed to use the bungee cords but the light is much higher now to accommodate the height of this monster! current height is 46cm which is about 18 inches. Im feeding with my normal Canna and Vitalink schedule and watering with just phed water a lot too. they drink so much when in the proper temperature range and healthy! Nothing much to report other than that although i think im gonna invest in some more bud boosters and terpene boosters as im struggling to get a huge flavour from my buds. its noticable and its there after curing, each strain i have grown has its own unique flavour and smell but it just hasnt been potent enough for me yet. possibly due to my previous strain choices. anyways thats why im growing more fruity and higher thc strains. also for the medical benefit, the 1:1 THC/CBD weed was good as a supplemental medical weed i found that i still needed a high thc strain as a base to stay pain free and stoned. and the lower thc varieties ive tried are nice but just arent strong enough for a heavy smoker like me to relieve pain and help me sleep. Il update later in the week, and apologies again for not updating the diaries as much ad i usually do, ive been quite busy over the new year! Happy growing folks!

Day 36 - 16/01/20 Everythings going well except for some nutrient burned leaves lower down. some were sticking in the soil too because i added slightly too little soil in the pot. I flushed the plants today as although ive been (feeding/watering/feeding/watering) i am not getting runoff with this schedule. so i flushed them all properly and will continue to feed them pure phed water for the next couple of days :) Flowers are beginning to grow and develop and im so excited to be growing something with 20% thc or more :) and the height of this pineapple express is 64cm already :) i think it will stretch a lot more after i adjust my lights again. And my spare parts arrived to fix my light. only some of the LEDs are out but i have to say im pretty unhappy about it. lets hope the parts fix it properly. Il let you guys know how the rest of flowering is going! and im gonna pick up some bud boosters in the next couple of weeks to boost yield and terpenes :)

Day 43 - 23/01/20 This is the biggest weed plant ive ever seen. Very proud of myself as its a rare thing to have smoked sativa here as its a very tall noticable plant and usually takes longer than indica too. Its stretched about 27cm this week and i hope it doesnt stretch much more as i cant raise my light any higher :o Its gonna be amazing once i get a joint rolled of this bud :) No smell from the plant yet unfortunately. Had a nutrient burn problem over the last week too. flushed the plant and will continue to be careful for the next week. Il update in a week to show how flowering is going :) Happy growing!

Day 50 - 30/01/20 Ive never grown a sativa before and this one is really tall! (95-100cm) its taking ages to do anything. it didnt help that my PH meter is cheap and needs calibrated constantly. had a lot of trouble with plant health last week due to this. im gonna invest in a new PH meter soon but i calibrated for now and plant health is good again. no smell coming through yet and buds arent forming anywhere near as quick as my indica autos. il let this one take as much time as it needs :) Until next week folks let me know your thoughts below and happy growing!

Day 69 - 18/02/20 Sorry for not updating this one guys, I was sick for over a week there and before that I was way too busy to keep up with tending to my plants. I’ve gotten around to it now and added some lovely photos for all my diaries so you can enjoy. The Pineapple Express is looking great for having not been watered for the last 5 days. It’s now being regularly fed with a ton of nutrients (nitrogen, potassium, phosphorus, calcium, magnesium and some root stimulator) and regularly watered (2L/Daily) The height definitely peaked at 1m tall which I’m really impressed with. What an achievement to grow a meter tall weed plant hahaha. And I can’t wait to smoke me some sativa!

Day 77 - 26/02/20 So I’ve cut off a test bud or should I say test cola. This grew entirely different compared to an indica. And the difference in yield is definitely noticeable. Buds definitely needed a strong and sound light setup combined with proper nutrients right the way through. If the conditions are met this will grow monstrous cola’s with chunky buds. Mine are a little on the thin side but this was just due to improper care when I was sick for a week. I will update later tonight with some photos of the Pineapple Express! For now the test cola photos will have to do! Day 80 - 29/02/20 Still haven’t taken any photos of the plant to show off, I think il do it right before it’s ready for harvest. I put the test buds in the jar and I’ve labelled it. It looks great! Can’t wait to show off this plant and harvest it! I originally planned to dry the buds for 8 days but with them being very airy and wispy they only took 3 days :) Il update again soon!

Day 95 - Buds are now curing! Il add some more lovely photos of the buds and the roots of the plant. I pulled the whole plant and soil out of the pot when dry and from the bottom up I can’t see the soil, it’s just all root, looks absolutely amazing and I must be doing something right if they are enjoying the growing environment :) Grow lights are now at the correct height to accommodate most indica autos without adjustment :) The main stem is bent over in the photos because it’s so heavy it snapped hahahah, but yeah Between this plant and my blue cheese one I’m very happy! :) Il add some more photos tonight folks!
