We are now at the end of week 3, both plants are growing well. I know i said i wont top or LST but decided to top the plant on the left. I topped it at start of week 3 to try keep an even canopy so a little LST will be needed as we go. Responded excellently to topping, stunted for a day or two but back growing again, healthy and happy by the looks of it. :)
Loving autos btw..cant believe how quick they grow haha...im sticking with my usual watering method of heavy watering until run off every 2 or 3 days,...works for me as opposed to light daily watering.
Onr final note is iv started leaving the light on over night at 250w..purely due to the fact its dropping too low through the night, 62 last night so instead of lights off ill just drop to 250w for the night...its an auto..itll take it :)

Little update as iv switched to a 600w hps...:) iv had too because they have both gone too big (if there is such a thing) hehe, and the 400 couldnt penetrate the canopy enough.

Was very from the minutes it sprouted..because of this decided to top her. She was amazing..never skipped a beat and kept on growing!!! Took canna full strength newts all the way until a ten day flush. 6 days drying and they are now in jars to cure...as of today after 4 days in jars iv got a weight of 142 grams..amazing 😀😀

@Charley66,I actually water 5ltrs per watering..ill adjust it on the stats. Im a big believer in deep watering..which to me means watering until run off. I then let the roots soak for ten mins before draining. I do this every 4th day atm..each pot is a 40cm..hope that helps.☺️

With all that water running of again, doesn’t that cost a lot in nutrients?

@Charley66,Hello Again...the pots are plastic to which iv added extra drain holes..dont know the litre size im afraid just know they 40cm diameter...as for run off you wont believe but there is never really any to throw away..after ten mins its all been sucked up by the plant...It seems alot of water but again thats what it takes to get a little run off...I guess the plant was just very thirsty.
