Here we are for Grow# 7 and it's going to be exciting. I've been given the opportunity to test out several unreleased autoflower strains from one of the best breeders in the world FastBuds. The information that was provided from FastBuds is that it's a mostly Indica strain that takes 10 weeks to finish from seed to harvest. Before I get started with the germination process down below will be a list of the equipment I'll be using :
Hydro Planet 2x4x5 Grow Tent
3-Gallon Plastic Pot
Happy Frog Soil
Vivosun 300 watt Full Spectrum Grow Light
Vivosun 4" inch Exhaust Fan
Vivosun Carbon Filter
Vicks Cool Mist Humidifier
2 Desk Fans
Acurite Hygrometer

Started the pre-germination process for this lady by placing her in a mason jar with water that had a ph of 6.2, the seed is to be left soaking for 48 hrs, but after 10 hrs or so I checked to see if the seed had sunk to the bottom.

48 hrs later and our seed has cracked and is showing a tap root. So I placed it in a moist paper towel, which will then be placed in a container to get a longer tap root before planting it in its final pot. I'll check on it every 6hrs or so to make sure the paper towel hasn't dried out.

Here we are 24 hours later and our seed has a long enough tap root to be planted in soil. I like the taproot to be close to 1.5 cm long before planting. I made a small indention about as deep as my first knuckle and placed the seed in taproot down and gently covered it with soil, and then gave it a little misting. ( Remember to keep the topsoil moist at this stage to help seedling break through the soil.)

Woke up today and went to check on our seed and it was above the soil. I gave it a light misting and let it be.
Monday, December 9th, 2019 ( Day 1 )
Today started our lady's first official day, nothing really to report except for making sure the humidifier was full and misting our new seedling once or twice.
Thursday, December 12th, 2019 ( Day 4 )
Gave our little seedling it's first watering, it was 250 ml of pure water with a ph of 6.2
Sunday, December 15th, 2019 ( Day 7 )
Last day of the week and our seedling was due for a watering again, so I gave her 250 ml of pure water with a ph of 6.2.
Overall it was a very easy week our seedling is growing just as it should be even working on its second node. I've been able to keep the grow environment stable with no issue's so I guess I can say that I'm off to a great start. Until next week fellow growers and remember
"Happy Growing" and "Free your mind one puff at a time".
@FunDownUnder, Your so welcome and to answer you I learned that with the Cal-Mag, Micro, and Bloom the plant actually gets enough nitrogen, just like if I was using FloraGro, it also makes the feeding regiment more basic kind of eliminating the whole nutrient burn thing and the bloom doesn't just help with bloom it helps build up the roots early. It works like a charm ... I can send you a message with the actual schedule if you're interested in trying it.
@MountainMatt, They do have a faster growth rate but that's because they grow by age or maturity instead of having to switch to a 12/12. You can veg a photo for as long as you want an auto will flower no matter what light cycle. And I do specialize in autos tho.
Love the compliment on my diary buddy tbh This is the best I’ve done I’m being so ocd with this these testers but I’m following along yours too hope you have a great grow
@STAYINGONMYMAINCBATORUNTWOMade, No problem my friend ... And your not the only one, I've been bugging out myself being super cautious, this is my first time being asked to test strains out by a breeder so I want it to go right so they can have good info about the strain ya know?
@TheUsualSuspect, Lol I agree she's super frosty already and still has a ways to go by the time she's done those buds are gonna shine like diamonds. Lol.
