Plant has remained very short despite not being trained in any way. Still expecting some stretch to occur however.
Upped nutes to flowering quantities but may back off a bit as tips are burning slightly. Slight smell, so far so good.
@Ashbash, to be honest, I looked up on Reddit and the reviews are mixed. Some say it helps and works great well others say the opposite. I'm pretty new to indoor grows, outdoors in my opinion are much less maintenance. So please don't take my advice lol. Google " defoliation of autoflowers" and some Reddit posts should show up. Then you'll be able to make a more educated decision. Anyways, all the best and happy growing!
@Hemposapien,
I'm never sure about defoliating when there's an issue. If it's pulling nutes from the leaves causing them to die, wouldn't removing them start the process earlier on leaves that aren't affected yet? I pull when there's very little material left for photosynthesis.
@Ashbash, my next grow that's what I'm going with. Every seed bank I contact says they're out of stock. There's one near me saying they're getting stock in 2 weeks tho. 🤞
@Hemposapien,
Hey dude,
I did half decide to defoliate. The methodology I used was that if the leaf came off with a little tug, then it was supposed to be removed but if it didn't come off I decided to leave it on as it wasn't completely dead.
I believe that when it's growing then any leaves that are on the plant help with photosynthesis and will help the plant grow. But if a leaf comes off then it was ready to die anyway. Once the plant is in the final week or so I don't think it matters so remove as you see fit. Will only help with trimming then I reckon.
Looking healthy!
interesting strain, i've always been curious how this strain would grow, look forward to staying updated.
Im in week 2 right now and excited to see how it goes
