After FIMinng, plants widened out -- installed screen this week to try to keep growth of main cola relatively flat height wise, and let other nodes flower and grow up to screen height too.
Have had to travel a fair amount recently. Thus have left plants in care of partner. Tried to set good instructions but as I am new, too - a couple issues did arise. 1) Plants went 48 hrs without water and temp inside tent reached 96 degrees. 2) Per the picture, appears that too much nutrients were provided, as you can see a bit of burn on many of the leaves. Yesterday I did a good flush for each plant with just water, and they are looking better this evening. My hope is that this interruption doesn't have too negative of an impact on yield and potency but we shall see.
- I (think) have determined that one of the two Jack Herer plants I am growing is one of the phenotypes (my guess is that it is "D" see: https://sensiseeds.com/en/blog/cannabis-strain-focus-jack-herer-from-sensi-seeds/) that matures more quickly
- Because this is my first grow, I'm uncertain about optimal harvesting time, so I've been watching pistils and trichromes with jeweler's loupe
- I decided to harvest a portion of the faster maturing plant, and the harvest pictures included in this week were taken 5 days before the plant pictures
- I think this may have been a bit early, but I think I will harvest the remaining branches (including main cola) within next couple of days
- Leaves MAY be turning yellow due to fact that I probably started flushing this plant too early ... but would love feedback
-Other plant is clearly one of phenotypes taking longer to mature (my guess is "C") so I believe harvest for this plant is at least 1 additional week away.
What do you think is the cause for the fairly dramatic yellowing of the leaves on the plant that has matured more quickly and has been partially harvested?
Too much water in my humble opinion. I noticed that when late into flowering they don't use hardly any water at all. I quit watering mine about 10 days prior to harvest
Final dried harvest from Right plant - not pictured, see previous posts, (phenotype D - matured earlier) amounted to 2.5 oz of fruity smelling goodness.
"Haze" Phenotype (C?) Still maturing! I thought it was done a week ago but then it put out a ton new white hairs and buds have really increased in size / density.
