End of week one! I have 3 Purple lemonade from fast buds. My girls are doing great, just really trying to hone down best practices and getting my watering right. Can’t wait to see these girls really take off. Have the first watering on day 7 with a low nute dose around 250ppm and that’s about it.
End of week 2! I’ve mostly been using the lift test to tell when to water and not to run off yet. Fed at 290ppm today. One of the seedlings became droopy immediately after watering. I might have gave her too much. Just trying to keep these girls alive day by day.
These auto girls are starting to grow out. Recently added an HLG 100 to my tent to add with my blurple. Two of my girls seem happy and healthy. One of the girls is experiencing N tox. So I’m going to back off on the ppm next watering. Ready to see some explosive growth and hoping I’m doing things right.
4 Weeks Old today! Didn’t really have any problems this week. Watered two of the girls on Tuesday and one Wednesday all the same feed. Want to try LST but waiting a couple days for the stems to get a little bigger. Hoping to get a couple more inches before they start flowering. Also anyone have any suggestions on how to add a pk booster to Lucas and when to add and how long?
Week 5 in the books! These girls have seen some explosive growth this week doubling in height and size. Still feeding the same ratio with same EC. Waterings are starting to happen a little more frequent From 4-5 to 2-4 days. Is this preflower? I see pistils and growth but I’m not entirely sure. Please let me know any recommendations or thoughts.
week 6 complete! Can’t believe it’s been 6 weeks already and these girls have really bulked in size all sitting around 20 inches. Didn’t really do much this week except making sure my environment was right and kept watering when light. Currently watering every 2-3 days with an EC of 1.1-1.2 (620ppm). Moved my lights up a little because of the stretch. Seeing all these bud sites is making me excited already. Feel free to drop a comment or suggestion. Happy growing!
In Week 6 I’m continuing to see a lot of growth so I decided to add a pk boost to see how it would work. Started off really low at 1ml/gal and now I’m at 2.5ml and no sign of burning and seeing a lot of praying. Going to continue slowly raising until about 5ml or ~900ppm. Other than just watering every other day and light defoliation of the lower third and sites that aren’t getting light, this week has been smooth. White hairs are really starting to show up. I’m really hoping these girls bulk up. Until next week happy growing!
It’s been another easy week in tent. Watering every 1-2 days. I’m still using Lucas at half strength with some kool bloom. Currently my mix is ~860ppm and so far all the girls are looking healthy and thriving. Need to get a jewelers loop or usb microscope to check out the trichomes. Until next week happy growing.
Week 9 in the books! Two of my girls are starting to get covered in trichomes while my third is slightly starting to develop trichomes. Watering every other day at ~920 ppm and so far my girls are loving it. No signs of mute burning. My only concern is my two qbs too close to my girls at 10-12 inches away because I’m seeing some light signs of light bleaching. Did my last round of defoliation today to really focus on bud sites and hopefully get these buds to swell. Buds are developing nice with tons of white hairs. Easy week of just watering every 2 days. Buds are really starting to swell and become frosty. I picked up a digital microscope to look at trichomes and they are beautiful. Not 100% confident at determining where the trichomes are but most of them still look clear so I still have a couple weeks. Feel free to let me know or correct me I put a photo of the trichomes up. Week 11 complete. It’s been another week of just watering every other day. One of the girls is almost ready for a flush. The other two still have a couple weeks to go but they keep getting bigger and bigger buds. Can’t wait to chop one of these girls down I can almost feel it. As usual if any comment or tips please let me know.
Overall it was a pretty easy first grow once I had the hang of things. Going to try and experiment and get better with my next grow. As for these buds. They came out better than I would have thought. They were all beautifully laced with sticky trichromes dense to the touch. The potency was a tad weaker than I would’ve liked but still gave me the high I wanted. I’ll probably turn it into rosin and butter. Yield wise I was blown away by my dry weight.
