@F36-Not much to say about the progress, things are coming along great. Had a few troubles with the ph meter, but i measured the ph up i needed last time, so i could guess the ph fairly well. Plant seems to have reacted well to the feeding, slight burn on the tips, but not anything major. Buds are continuing to stack up and get fatter, lots of trichomes on those sugar leaves. The smell is becoming quite strong when i open the tent, and my hands reek after touching the plants.
Peace,
Super Dave
@F38- Checking in, plants are doing well, noticed some red stems but i don't think its a huge issue and i've added some extra Phosphorous to help the potential deficiency. Heat and cold differences between day and night may also have been the cause. The tip burn seems to be minimal still, so i must have eyeballed the ph up close enough to 6.3. There's not a whole lot else to update on so i'll just sit back and take a big dab of htfse before passing out.
@F40- Day before watering, pots are very light and dry, but the plants are happy, tons of new pistils that look great on the Strawberry and the Northern Lights, the green crack has very few pistils for some reason. Although the nute bottle only says to use for 6 weeks, I think that the strawberry and NL plants will benefit from another week of feeding, so I think i'll start the flush in 14 days.
@JUNGLE_B4RNS, thanks, had trouble in a past grow that went awry bc of friends who forgot, so im glad ive got someone i can trust this time. They only will need to water them once, so its mostly just to raise the light and continue to tuck as they stretch.
Looking fantastically beautiful buddy. I love your scrog net and I can't wait for the plants to start growing into it. Looks like you have some amazing plans for this tent. I'm excited to see how it progresses. Cheers!
This is a KILLER looking grow. I see some experience shining through here. Nice job! I am attempting my first "topless" SCROG (trying to bend instead) with 6 different strains right now. It would be cool if you would follow along and make a suggestion or two. - Zannabis7
@schmorgastheborg, Thanks for the information. I have certainly done my fair share of reading up on SCROGing as well. Since I am growing autoflowers, I am aiming to bend early and gently. I'll keep looking in on your grow - hope you will do the same. Thanks again for the response. - Zannabis7
@Zannabis7,
thanks,
There is a little experience, I have grown to harvest 4 cycles. I like to read a lot, so there is a lot of regurgitation of what I read. Truly my first SCROG-- I feel very new at training. I broke several of them.. but the will to live and produce is blowing me away. What I have learned is clones in my area are seriously lacking. Seeds are amazing... so far... I suspect from what I have heard is - "it is all about genetics."
@Aurora_Borealis,
I feel ya, but micro managing seems to pay off. I get over worried (I think) as a new grower. I suspect Mother Nature will provide. I grow outside one a year and kinda just let them go -- and they turn out amazing.. I sometimes think it is hard t screw it up...
@biggreens420, Thanks man, I appreciate the support! This grow couldn't have gone much better so far, very few issues but I was sorta worried that my buds are not big enough for the length of time they've been flowering, but I had to flip them early cause i knew space would be an issue. That being said, i think i'll have a good harvest to look forward to in a month or so (Valentine's day!). Sometimes I tend to get too caught up on the small flaws, gotta focus on the big picture, to see how much i've progressed, and how to use this as a lesson for the next grow.
