Plants were fed midway through week 2, responded well to the food. Decided to turn off the exhaust fan during the first few weeks of veg to help increase temps and humidity. Things are progressing nicely now, going to feed them again in a couple of days once the soil dries out a bit more. Will try and update more in the following weeks, but there just isn't all that much going on right now to talk about. Week 2 Update: Fed with 4ml/l of medi one this morning, took a fair amount of ph up to bring it back to 6.2. Will probably turn the humidity down a bit this week to help the medium dry out more, then try and repot them in a week or so into the 3 gallon smart pots.

Transplanted into 3 gallon smart pots on tuesday. Medium is a mix of promix hp, coco coir, and perlite. The next morning I fed them each a litre of nutes, ph balanced to 6.4 (accidentally put a bit too much ph up in), think it might have been a little too strong for the NL plant, its showing some slight tip burn, but they are doing well otherwise and I'll be more careful about the ph in the future. The cfl bulbs are soon going to be replaced by the quantum board, which is already providing the older green crack plant with light. Looking forward to seeing how large they'll be in another week, expect more updates in the near future! Week 3 Update: Sorry about the lack of posts, the plants are coming along very nicely. I did some light trimming two days ago on the bottoms of the plants as I prepare to throw them into a scrog. The green crack had a lot of little leaves at the bottom that were already deprived of light, so they were cut. Have been spraying with water and a topping the soil with a bit of a seaweed mix during the week. Today I threw the scrog net on and got rid of the cfl bulbs, which has caused the temps to drop a bit. The basement I grow in is kind of cold, might need to get a little heater and a humidity controller. Plan on feeding the plants again tomorrow or the next day, only 3/4 strength for the NLxSk#1 this time though. Will switch to flowering in a week or two ideally, once the plants have grown through the scrog a bit.

Fourth week of veg is coming along great, Not sure about when to flip to flower honestly, I think they could use another week of veg, but I'll be tight pressed for room. Green Crack has been fimmed and is starting to be woven into the scrog. May still end up raising the scrog another inch or two so its easier to water the plants, just trying to do some lst work to spread their canopy out. The Strawberry and the N.LxSk#1 have really taken to their new pots, and are pretty much caught up to the Green Crack, surprisingly. Cheers D34/27 Update: Took off the scrog and cleaned up the tent today. Topped plants are recovering quite well, lots of new growth coming out. The green crack is getting quite bushy, whereas the other two are spreading their large fan leaves out to soak up all the light. Quantum board is maybe at %50, still 16 inches above the canopy roughly. Had some light wind burn on the NL plant, so i switched it with the strawberry to give it a break.

Week 5 Update: Got a scrog net on them now, watered this morning and will set the timer to 12/12 in the next few days. Soil was nice and dry when i watered it, took a week and a half break. Will be looking to see if the cal mag issue gets better, but I;m still liking the way things are going thus far. Thanks for all the support!

Flowering is finally upon us, only took a long, but enjoyable, years worth of research and preparation, looking forward to the next few weeks even more, can't wait to see what it's like when im back from vacation in a couple weeks. I'll only be gone for 18 days, already have multiple friends who can come by to water them once and help tuck the stretch. Will probably be the last update for a little bit, but ill try and get a few updates in over the holidays.

I’m still away on vacation, but my friend stopped by last night to check on the plants, and will come back today to tuck some of the new growth into the scrog. Will try and update again later this week, happy holidays! F11 update: Got some pics from my friend, plants are doing great and were just tucked into the scrog. Both of us were amazed at how much that back right branch grew overnight, at least 4 inches, the flowering stretch is real! Only a few more days of weaving the plants into the scrog and then it'll all upward growth from there. Cheers, Super D F13 Update: Got some new pics from my homie today, plants look great despite me not being there, slight unevenness to the canopy in the back but that's not too much of an issue. Nothing much to report besides this, hopefully the pistils from the flowering buds will be more visible soon.

Week 3 of flower has come and gone very quickly, sorry for the lack of posts but i've been at a cottage for the past week and didn't have reliable internet access. Anyways, as for the grow things are coming along great and the caretaker is doing a bang up job and I couldn't be more pleased with how they look. He should be coming by to water them today, its been over a week since I left so they're thirsty girls by now i'd imagine. Can't wait to see how it looks when i get in a week, hopefully the canopy will have leveled out a bit more since then.

@F29. My friend did a great job looking after the plants, will definitely return the favour when this round is over! Got home on the 3rd of January, took my time tending to the plants and lollipopping, but they really didn't need much work. Next time i think ill just do two plants and let them veg a bit longer to really grow evenly into the netting. There were a few leaves with tiny bits missing, but no sign of burns or bugs so im happy! Might of had some light heat damage during the last few days before i got home (not the fault of the friend, so the soil was quite dry, but nothing that looked really bad for going 7 days without water. Definitely will be updating the diary more in the near future now that I'm back, looking forward to seeing how this one turns out! Cheers @F32 Power came back on yesterday, was only out for two or so hours of lights on. Apparently it's not a huge issue, so i just kept it dark in the room so as not to disturb them. Not a tonne to update on otherwise, everything is looking good after the clean. Lots of growth from the lower bud sites and the buds are forming nicely. @F34 No more power issues thankfully. Getting ready to water the plants again tomorrow or the next day. Got a lot of good pics with my good camera. Hope that the buds really start to chunk up in the next few weeks.

@F36-Not much to say about the progress, things are coming along great. Had a few troubles with the ph meter, but i measured the ph up i needed last time, so i could guess the ph fairly well. Plant seems to have reacted well to the feeding, slight burn on the tips, but not anything major. Buds are continuing to stack up and get fatter, lots of trichomes on those sugar leaves. The smell is becoming quite strong when i open the tent, and my hands reek after touching the plants. Peace, Super Dave @F38- Checking in, plants are doing well, noticed some red stems but i don't think its a huge issue and i've added some extra Phosphorous to help the potential deficiency. Heat and cold differences between day and night may also have been the cause. The tip burn seems to be minimal still, so i must have eyeballed the ph up close enough to 6.3. There's not a whole lot else to update on so i'll just sit back and take a big dab of htfse before passing out. @F40- Day before watering, pots are very light and dry, but the plants are happy, tons of new pistils that look great on the Strawberry and the Northern Lights, the green crack has very few pistils for some reason. Although the nute bottle only says to use for 6 weeks, I think that the strawberry and NL plants will benefit from another week of feeding, so I think i'll start the flush in 14 days.

@F42: Watered today and everything is looking good, plants were super thirsty and the pots are feeling much heavier again. Looks good so far, think that the buds are gonna chunk up a lot these next few weeks. Very excited about the quickly approaching bulk. Continue to bend the larger fan leaves to the sides to help the lower buds get light. Update @F46: Getting very aromatic in the tent, nugs are looking super frosty and my hands get really sticky after touching them. Soil is still damp, but the pots weight is getting a bit lighter again. 3 more days till the next watering. Update@ F48- Week 6 of flower is done and has it ever been a good one, the plants are doing so much better than I ever could have imagined for my first grow. Starting to research the best time to start my flush. Was planning on harvesting around mid february, so that means I have just three weeks to go before they get chopped and hung to dry for a week.

F51- Two days into week 7 of flower, things are looking great. Smell is very potent, but the carbon scrubber is doing an awesome job. New ph meter worked like a charm, auto calibrate definitely helped. Some slight differences in the current stages of the plants, especially the strawberry's buds in the back which have only just showed orange pistils a few days ago, still planning on harvesting in 3 weeks time, so i'm not too worried if some of the trichs are still a little clear on a few buds. My bottle of medi-one is feeling pretty light, but I'd reckon that I've got just enough for one more feeding, next week. Really excited for the next 21 days to be over F54- Not much to say except that the smell of the plants is unreal, especially the strawberry. Super stoked for the feeding in a couple days, then its just plain water from here on out!

Week 8 of flowering is underway! Gave them a good last supper yesterday, just ph balanced water from here on out. Got some really interesting "fall" colours coming through in some of the plants, mostly the Green crack, but the plants seem happy and the buds continue to swell and become ever more frosty. Getting ready for harvest in a few weeks, very excited with how well this is turning out. Much like when I made my own beer, I worried constantly at the start that I would mess this up and it would be a huge waste of effort, but lo and behold it's much easier than expected and just requires a bit of skill, but mostly patience. Looking forward to finally smoking it in a month or so! Cheers everyone. Update @F59- buds are getting very chunky, most of the colas are showing a fair amount of brown hairs too now. Got some interesting purple tips forming on the northern lights plant as well, but only on one leaf. Other than that there’s not a whole lot to report, going to water them in a few days.

F62- Week 9 of flower starts tomorrow on day 64, gave them a flush today with about 3 litres each, water was Ph balanced to 6.4. The green crack has some leaves that have started to die off and curl at the tips, but the buds are still looking great. Not nearly as much colour on the leaves of the other two plants, which seem to be doing much better overall. Think that whenever I choose to grow next time I may just go for the NLxSkunk1 and see how much I can get off a plant or two, its a good yielding plant that has some very hardy genetics clearly. The trichomes have all started to turn cloudy, maybe about 50/50 cloudy to clear, will see what its looking like in a week when they're about to get the final watering. That's about it for now, hope that everyone out there is staying high and somewhat dry! Cheers F68-More amber hairs now, watered again yesterday. Will likely water once more before I chop them down, then let them hang for 10 days.

F70- So begins the 10tg week of flowering, hard to believe how fast that time flew by. Here we are, with only one more day of lights on left after today. They're getting the chop early on the morning of the 73rd, which will give them approx 36 hrs of darkness. My friend is gonna help me chop and trim, should only take an hour or so just to give them a light trim and then hang em up for 8 days of drying. Will do a more thorough trim after that, and use the bubble bag set that I just got, so I'll have something to do with all the trim that's leftover. Now all I need to get is some more jars to store all the medicine in! Cheers F73- Not chopping today. Gave them a final watering with 6.3 ph water with some molasses like last week. Decided to push the chop back until the morning of F82, still a lot of clear and cloudy trichs, no amber yet. Will update in a week! Cheers

Final weight was over an oz and a half of the Northern lights, 2.5oz of the strawberry, and 1.5oz of Green crack. I think it could have been more if the quantum board was positioned better and I had just run two plants in a setup more like hydroponic, maybe a flood and drain table. I think I may stick with medi-one and add a 2700l cob light or two for flower.
