Trying something new this grow. Put this girl under 12/12 on Dec 14 and started flowering nutes on Dec 21. She's already flowering heavily, bud sites all over her!
Start of week 2 of flowering. Week 1 went well, but she showed signs of deficiencies and as such she got an extra 2 liters of nutes + water. Shit ton of bud sites on this girl!
Start of week 3. Week 2 went well, this girl is filling out her bud sites nicely and she's starting to stank :) aside from a hungry nutrient appetite and a bit of deficiency, she's doing alright.
Start of week 4. Week 3 went well, plant is nute hungry and leaves are a bit droopy, but buds are filling out nicely. She is getting sticky to the touch and she has a light sweet aroma.
Start of week 5. Week 4 went well, however overnight from day 6 into 7 of week 4 the leaves dropped, she needs a bit extra feeding. She's starting to really smell, probably the strongest smelling OG Kush I've grown to date. Bud sites are filling in nicely, she's densely packed and I'm trimming dying leaves steadily.
Start of week 6. Week 5 went really well, this girl also got an extra 2 liter feeding on day 6 of 7 this week and it really shows with less droopage in the leaves and less yellowing and dying of leaves. The smell is a sweet earthy fragrance and the stickyness is great! Bud sites are filling in nicely!
Start of week 7. Week 6 went well, however she still required and extra 2 liters of food on day 6 of week 6. This girl is insanely sticky, she's getting super dense and frosty, with a sweet earthy smell.
Start of week 8. Week 7 went well as this girl slowed down her nutrient consumption, she did not need any extra feed during the week. Cleaned up a lot of small dead leaves that had tucked themselves up into bud sites. In this past with this strain, those small drying leaves have caused some bud rot and mold to develop. She smells incredible and is insanely sticky! My best grow of this strain ever! Will flush in 5-7 days, depending on trichomes.
Week 9 - flushing begins. Week 8 went well, the buds packed on weight and density, as the branches are sagging and twisting from the weight of the buds. This girl is incredibly sticky and very sweet and earthy smelling.
OG Kush - great strain, very easy to grow and she produces great bud! I would recommend this strain to anyone that wants to grow a Kush strain that has great taste, smell and potency.
End of week 9, harvest time! She has dense heavy buds for the most part. Just the lowest and most inner bud sights are fluffy and small, compared to the rest. I will update with dry weight results and smoke taste review in about 2 weeks.
Update - March 7 - today was the first smoke and then weigh-in for the OG Kush. Total dry weight 242.2 grams, not including the smoke sample.
Monstrous how long did you veg for? She is very bushy they are gonna be some big buds in the end. I got Sour kush from Canuk which has some og in it I just started well from Native seed company but I’m 90% sure they get seeds from Canuck
@Lionsshare, thanks! they were in veg for about 14 weeks. Yes they are very bushy but a little uneven, just because of the limited space they had to veg in.
