So I have been having a slight mildew issue on a few leaves. I've since been giving the plants less water, and I lowered the lights. Also I made this homeade spray which consists of tap water, a very small amount of hydrogen peroxide and a dash of baking soda, seems to have solved the problem. Buds mainly on northern lights got a bit of overspray so a few pistils have prematurely gone orange. What do you guys think of using such a solution in flowering? I mean it's all natural and I plan on washing my buds at harvest.

why do I would keep having issues with mildew? Humidity at 40%, have a new tent with good plant spacing, been letting them dry out till light and start to droop but still. Also have plenty of air circulation. Makes no sense as I see others with 55% humidity and no issue.

Mildew is a fungus , fungus are spreading spores keep the species alive , spore can stay inactive for a while in the same environment before they can find the coud condition to thrive. Try to spray with milk , it have anti fungus properties : min 1 part milk 9 part water & max 1/3 milk 2/3 water. Spray the leaves on every faces , before flowering and every 2 days during a week

Yeah, I don't really see any mildew problems either. Perhaps an odd distribution of trichomes or a patchy look to the trichomes as a result of touching / rubbing. Low humidity does not equal zero mildew, it just helps prevent mildew growth. If you did have a mildew problem (which I don't believe is the case here) the source could come from anywhere. Depends entirely on your setup, i.e - where the intake air is coming from, improperly sealed grow area, contaminated transfer from outside growing area, mildew in the venting system, etc. Plants look good to me. 👽

Hi CannaCanuck420 All it is is your plants are packed with Trichomes mate. And this is a really good thing. Trichomes are productive THC mushrooms. With them you also determine when the plants are ready for harvest. Good luck and more Trichomes you get more potency will the final product have. Happy Growing.
