Week 6, concluding the first week of flowering:
Hi(gh) guys!
Funny how a single decision can get you into trouble big time! Three weeks ago I’d decided to top plants D and E, plant F being the strongest grower and the biggest plant I thought if she would stand next to the big goldbars there would be enough height to grow. Yeah, but no! Plant F’s total height sits at 1 meter, leaving not enough space for the ‘upper-decker’. In just two weeks it’d grew from 20cm to 73cm! So I decided that F has to go, unless anyone has a better plan? But I don’t want to risk stun her entirely. Besides, plant D has a nice bushy structure and I suspect it to stretch a bit if placed under flowering lights. I’d kept it underneath blue until now, so it should have some growth left in it? We’ll see! That means that plant E is left as sole upperdecker! At this point, plant E has the fattest budsites, although it also has grown underneath the blue growlights. At least it has enough space. E also has a really sweet smell, but you must rub some leaves to smell it at this point.
Week 6 they got their first little dose of Organic Blooming Liquid (OBL), that’s going to be upped for the next week. Week 8 sees them already working towards the finish, and I’ll start giving a little dose of OMP by then.
So, for recordkeeping, as from the start of week 7, plant D sits next to the goldbars inside the tent hoping to get one last grow spurt. Plant E remains under blue until later that week (when I find some time), and plant F is decommissioned until further notice but is put back underneath blue for the time being.
I’m looking forward to see you back and check on the Smoothie Auto’s progress next week!
