Couldn’t wait to give Fastbuds a try. Been following countless diaries and am super stoked to see what kind of beautiful nuggs this will bring. Decided on Pineapple Express because i love fruity smelling buds! I always lay down a layer of food grade diatomaceous earth to prevent any bugs from nesting in my soil. I’ve had problems with thrips in the past. While baby Pineapple was germinating i unleashed some beneficial nematodes in my soil to also prevent soil born pests that come with soil sometimes. Also super excited to see what a 7gallon smart pot will do to help this pretty lady. Largest pot I’ve grown in was a 5 gallon smart pot. Thinking here on out it’s 7 gal and up or nada!
Can honestly say that so far (even though it’s only been 2 weeks) she is growing 2x faster then any other plant I’ve grown in my short experience! Nothing really to say besides she is healthy and looking mint!
Still looking super healthy. Finally got the lights down to 18 inches after slowly lowering them down since she was a seedling. Growing at a phenomenal rate. Actually in disbelief at the speed in which she grows. Been throwing some bud candy in with the Advanced Nutrients Root Excel Trio because I read that it actually helps them out.
At the end of the week she noticeably started flowering. So exciting!! Fastest to flower yet! Can’t stress enough how amazed I am that she is growing at this rate! This week I only fed her the sensi bloom grow Part A and B.
Half way trough week 5 I figured I’d post some pictures because she has really stretched out and starting to get ready to bud hard. Also turned off the LEDs for better pictures. Natural light sucks where I’m at so hopefully this is good enough!
End of week 5. Still cannot believe how fast and big she is growing. Bud sites are popping up everywhere. FastBuds seeds are the real deal. I defoliated her a little bit at the very very bottom. When I water her water splashes the bottom leaves and they yellowed a little. Cleaned her up nice and won’t have that problem anymore. Super siked to see what she produces!!
-Half way through the week. She is a monster! Looking very healthy. Starting to get a little smell. Might have to start training her in so she doesn’t out grow my box.
-End of the week and she has surpassed all my expectations already. Now I’m just hoping I can fend off this cold weather for another couple weeks. She responds great to the nutrients I give her. Hats off to the Fastbuds crew they’re the real deal!
-Some last minute pictures with the LEDs on. I can’t take her out of the box due to cold weather.
-Just realized that I’ve had the thermometer on the floor which is substantially cooler than where my lady is. I took a string and hung it from the ceiling to about midway through the plant and it’s reading 80 degrees. So basically I’ve been worried about the cold everyday when in actuality they’ve been better than good this whole time!!!! Which also means a lot of my temps are wrong. It’s been holding 80 during the day and 75 at night. I’ll fix it all when I post some more pictures wednesday! This Holmes Bathroom heater is doing its job and then some!!!
Halfway through week 7. Couple pictures from Tuesday. Gonna upload more when I get back home to her. Can’t raise the lights anymore. Hoping she is done stretching. She takes up every bit of that 4x5 box. Couldn’t be happier with this grow so far. I think next time I’ll go down to 5 gal smart pots this way I can pump out two of them. Still in disbelief she has grown this fast and started budding that fast as well!! I’m feeding her 2 gallons every 2 or so days. She is a
very thirsty girl and let’s me know when she is hungry too (leaves curl down). I’ve been slowly defoliating the bottom of her. I cut a couple under grown budds from underneath as well. Not sure how she’d respond if I went scissor happy. I also can’t say enough about Advanced Nutrients. Since I made the switch I can tell her leaves are always praying up and overall health seems through the roof! She really is a monster. 31 inches wide by 36 inches tall. She is stacking nicely. Did my best with pictures. Can’t tell if the flash on the phone helps or hurts the pictures.
End of the week- She is doing awesome. Blowing up pretty fast and there is a serious citrus pine smell coming off her when you bump into a budd or it wipes on your finger. For the most part it seems as if she is loving life!!
Week 8 and she is really starting to smell up the box. Getting a serious citrus pine smell. I picked up some free Sea Green (as long as I paid the shipping which was 5 bucks. Definitely worth it!!) from Primordial Solutions and used it for the first time. Hats off to the Primordial crew I would definitely recommend Sea Green to anyone because in the two feedings I’ve used it my girl has love love loved it. The leaves prayed up way more than usual. Her overall health seemed to improve and I honestly didn’t think her fine ass could get any better 😂😂, I was wrong!! She seems very happy and healthy so not much to report other than the NUGS LOOK TASTY!!
Last day of the week and she developed a ton of orange pistols overnight.
Mid week update. She is plumping up big time! The main cola is huge! It definitely steals the show. But there are some lower tier nugs that have fattened up nicely and it’s getting increasingly harder to wait until harvest!! I started to flush her this week using Flawless Finish from Advanced Nutrients so it’s basically a waiting game. The smell radiating from her is amazing! Its a deep citrus pine smell and then when you touch, or graze a bud you get that sweet smell. The sweet smell is very faint. I may or may not have snipped a bud for taste testing!!! 😝! Couldn’t be happier! Still in amazement with the FastBud Genetics! Hoping she keeps on swelling!!
Last day of week 9. Still looking healthy minus the nutrient burn. She seems to be still swelling which is awesome! The frost is really settling in. I can’t even describe the smells coming off of her. She’s one sticky biotch too. Grazed a nug and damn near got stuck to it! Can’t wait for a proper cure and to throw it in the vaporizer. Bring on week 10!!
Week 10 is coming to a close. The smell is unbelievable. I definitely got the skunk pheno. There’s hints of just straight skunk everywhere and then when you get close and put your nose to it you get a citrusy sweet smell. I gave her a quick trim so harvest won’t leave my fingers in knots. She’s coming down tomorrow and I cannot wait to dry and cure her out to vape it! Definitely a learning experience. I think I could have yielded double this if I didn’t over load the nutrients. Again it’s a learning experience. I’ll bounce back and make the adjustments.
I’ll update more info after a nice cure!
Update: So in conclusion. Super easy Grow. She didn’t give me any problems. Only problems were the heater torching some buds. I put her in a 7 gallon smart pot just to see what an Autoflower would do. Well she paid off and then some! Ended up with 144 grams of some primo FastBuds!00
