I have not had the pleasure of growing a genetic specimen that exudes as much funk as this cut does in veg. Waiting for them to fill out the SCROG net more and then on to flowering!
Day 34 update: stems are starting to green up. Transplanted to 3 gallon pots.
yeah, wow, yeah... frosty.... nice grow 👍 i read the whole diary , details are perfect 👏 can i offer a word of advice, i tried really hard to get fatter buds, but unless i added some PK in weeks 3-6 of Flower ,it just didnt happen. I found if i just upped the nutrients the tips still burnt.
@BigDaddyK,
Already boosting P & K, started week 5 and now the macros favor PK much more heavily than N. These plants are super hungry for nutrition and are taking 2.0 to 2.2 EC without any trouble.
@Jeff123fish,
Awesome! I agree on the transplant timing. These have been in the solo cups for exactly 15 days now, so transplanting right on time! Thanks for the advice!
@suthrngrwr,
Haha I hear ya man, I couldn't justify it beyond the cost savings but am in same boat otherwise. I have dozens of packs, so many seeds but so little space to propagate any more than a few at a time. This last order was it (I really hope at least)!
@biggreens420,
I have a tall tent so I'll be vegging these out for at least 2 more weeks to fill the SCROG about 3/4 (4.5 sqft net). Once I flip these girls I expect them to double in height, due to their OG and Skunk lineage.
@@flowerboy,
Thanks! I can't take any credit for the plants though -- Greenpoint Seeds just puts out nothing but fire! I'm just appreciative to have the opportunity to grow out a plant that very closely resembles Bruce Banner #3 so far. Sickly sweet strawberry nose with some funk underneath. Clearly frosty as well, so I expect great things!
Who is the breader for this strain, the stalks are already turning a dark color, can you post more pictures of the stems turning? Is this a purple pheno? Can you give me more info on these genetics?
@WeirdBeard,
~Gu over at Greenpoint Seeds created this cross. With these Stardawg crosses, there is usually some uncommon coloring expressed in the offspring. At this time, I cannot be certain what exactly is causing the purple stems and petioles, though I do believe it to be partially genetic and part environmental (lower root zone temperatures caused by cooler weather outside).
I will do my best to capture more pictures of before and after to show the change in color.
This cross is Bruce Banner #3 (Female) x Stardawg (Male): http://en.seedfinder.eu/strain-info/The_Deputy/Greenpoint_Seeds/
