Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos
3 weeks of Flowering Completed
19th March 2020
Hi folks , I hope everybody is keeping safe and well during these trying times. 😷
The Ginger Nut cookie plant might end up needing a new name because she smells like pineapples and other fruitiness. 😛
All of the buds are starting to fatten nicely and have a generous amount of resin being produced. The rainy weather is back but this
time instead of it being humid , it is getting cold especially at night. None of this seems to be having any detrimental effects on her but to be safe
I put the pot under cover when it's raining.
Ph is stable @ 6.4
Soil temp has dropped a little to 18 degrees.
**** Now For this weeks Aussie music Video **
Last week I chose Cold Chisel and for this weeks Artist I have chosen Jimmy Barnes , who
after leaving Cold chisel began a solo career here in australia. "Barnesy" as we call him
has released many good songs but none are more iconic than "Working Class Man " which came out way back in 1985 .
Below you'll find the link to the youtube Clip for this great song

Once again If you liked this weeks update please leave a like and I wish you all to stay safe and well
God Bless

Looking for opinions from experienced growers on the likely outcome of the Crossing of a reversed sex photo strain with an autoflowering plant
I'm assuming it will still be photo dependent but will it potentially finish quicker ? whats everyones thoughts Thanks in Advance to all
This isnt plant related but I am Looking for suggestions for music videos to include in this diary Criteria is It Must be an Australian artist or band and have a Music video on youtube or similiar platform I can link to . Lets see what youd like to hear Thanks in advance 👍
Happy growing mate. Since the continent is on fire it is probably best to keep 'em inside. I was lucky enough to see AC/DC a few times in the late 70s with Angus/HTH tour and again with Brian/BIB tour. peace
What a mutation...but shes very healthy and came pre-topped! Haha. This might actually be a very good thing and it'll be interesting to see how this continues. Only time will tell, but this is actually kinda neat...😊
Good experiment, I am curious to know also.
Opinion - it may not be just one gene that cause auto flowering.
You may need to cross the with another round with a feminized auto.
It also may also auto on F1 since people may have put auto gene in Red Diesel already (?).
And FB genetic may be polyploid. Further in that line of thought, 3 auto to 1 photo may result in slow auto or fast photo.
So we all would know in a month. Thank you for spending time and resources and sharing the experience.
@Med_in_Tropic, Thanks Mate 😊 apparently the Red Diesel is definately photo only and unfortunately will be discontinued as an available strain from Barneys Farm
It's a pity as it's a fantastic social type smoke
Good luck wolf,, anything outdoor has been punished this year in oz, but some rain this week is such a nice change and much needed. For mine the most under rated track on black ice was decibel,, it’s a bangin riff and I thought it might get more air time than runaway train, but hey that’s just my opinion
Very interesting report wolf. I didn't realise it was your own breeding experment! Pretty looking result and bumper yield! I am gonna give ozi nutes a go as it seems to be a fav of yours. I use biocanna boost. Could the two be used in tandem as they are both organic?? Also that great white. I read that you sprinkle in the soil when planting, but how do you apply this product throughout the grow? Congrats on another great harvest mate... cheers
@Shooey, check out ozi magic website mate
and the great white I give a qtr teaspoon of it and just water it in as it works best when it makes direct contact with the roots
How about giving your followers some angels to listen too..am I ever gonna see tour face again...no way get 🤣 plants looking really good any how. Cold weather is dedinitely on both of our doorsteps
That is a beautiful looking strain there wolf,,. Small size leaves by the looks of the pics,,and it’s a lovely shape. And nice thick stems too, good for holding up heavy nugs👍 Very nice mate
Another one safely in the shed wolf, looks really nice with those vivid red hairs. Congrats on getting this one through and looking forward to the harvest report 🍻
