Thanx to the incredible people @superautoseeds for entrustin me with their awesome genetics!! hoping to get some good shotz and sum lovely budz from this purple stilton...oct 20 off to a bit of a rocky start with no real air movement... on day 7 i had to hide her away... so no light all day.... at night she wasnt very happy at all.. i should have just let her perk up but i kept the waterin up.... an in about six hours she waz leaning over... i blew at her and the leavez hit the soil and i thought it waz over... i picked her back up quick straightened her with some soil... put some dry soil on top of that and poked it up with a skewer to get some air in there.. an put her in a risky spot just where the fan could move her a lil bit and this lil soldier came out its first battle shining!🙏
after day 7.. i didn't water for two days so the soil could dry up.... then on day ten.. like tang said.. lol i put some nutrients in the soil... first time trying biobloom so this is experimental..but one ml to a L was burning the baby tips a lil... so i had to add water.. but she was getting happier an starting to regain normal growth rate!💪
this week i hid her twice for 12 hours ... i learned from the first time and just waited for light response before i started watering.. tips burnt so i diluted a bit of biobizz bloom 1:3 to water and that obviously needs less of a water chaser and things were back to normal.. beautiful dark lime chem skunky cheese scent coming from the leaf stalks!!👌
she started drinking double the water and popped pistils... i usually stop the tea mix right after the pistils pop but i decided i was going to defoliate a lot... so i would give it for another two weeks. she's loving life!!
this week she grew over the sides of the pot and started her stretch... i upped the diluted bloom... pistils popped out on all branches.. i also started seeing the first signs of cal mag def with the white leaf tips but she was growing fine so i just let her do her thing... the smell increased also!!
this week she just streched some more and started drinking faster... so i started defoliating to try slowing the strech down.... i also noticed the stems getting streaks of purple and a bit more calmag def but still vigorous growth so i let her go..... i was starting to wonder if it was the strain or the biobizbloom cuz everything else was normal but still very beautiful
that week i decided to stop the tea and increase the bloom dulution... i saw serious cal mag problems when she dried the pot out even just a lil bit..the strong lights workin against me.. so i decided to find some calmag for the next week... i also took off alot of leavez .. all that and she kept going up... a lovely structure still!
this week was a good one... the calmag was obviously working and she started getting green, tall and trichz started poppin up...the smell had started to increase too.. no more leaving the door open! i decided to chill on the defoliation so she could recover.. lol...dont like taking much off anyway.. i see some guys taking almost everything off ....i read that can make the bud leafy dunno how true that is ..i just think i can read the plant better with itz natural leafy growth.. but let me know how you guyz defoliate like that!🙏
this week she stretched some more and the stems triched up nice... some side branchez came all the way up to the main cola... i think that happened cuz it waz hardest hit by the calmag stress but all was well! the smell was starting to remind me of the first cheese auto i grew!!😊
tried a canon cam that week....and this soldier was just buttoning up again at this point i had finished the diluted bloom and gave her straight 7ml biobiz bloom and some pk boost the frost was piling on smelt like a sweet hashy turpentine and she was chugging away!!
the frost kept piling on as she tried to touch the bulbs and those buttons started looking like lil buds... the stem put on some girth too.. i tried easing up on the cal mag one day ..she was like.. 'wt are you doin' so that was a no no..all in all moved along steadily 🙏
at this time her calyxes got fatter and more trichomes were visble between the hairs she was taking her sweet time and i waz wiilling to wait cuz the scent was mouth watering.. i started thinking of when to start flush!
her colas were getting heavy and falling over... the scent was amazing... tempting me to cut her down and the frost was just everywhere... but a lot of pistils were still white... so i gave her cannazym and water at the beginning of the week, then dropped it down to just water for the rest of the week... one more week then she will be harvested!!!!!!! 😤💪
this week was the week i should have harvested... i did three days after but i think she was properly done right here... the scent was booming... i had to seal under the door and that made things even hotter... every thing went floppy i had to bundle her up and i was pleased.. saw a few purple calyxes too.. sticky oily resin all over the plant.. the place!
wow purple stilton has a sweet creamy eucalyptusy terpy early hit at 173c in the cfx as the temp stabilises and the trichz melt down a rich earthy flavor resembling a berry and a lime comez through and the lights get brighter as the high starts kicking i feel it alot in the eyes and forehead and the after taste is a long lasting spearminty lime green earth berry like flavor with that London cheesy dankness lurking all around the room such a great experience i wouldnt wanna be without it.. i could have done a much better job growing but this was my first serious cal mag def so my soil might need some re amending... because i supplimented calmag and it fixed the problem i gave a bit of the tea mix thinking it would revitalize it after the stress but i think that is what made her foxtail but more testing will determine that!
the length of time it took to grow was worth it .. but i believe she could be done faster with a flawless grow... i did get a bit more but i gifted a bit out b4 dry weight lol... i would like to grow this with canna next time to see the differences.... hope all you growers out there try this one! growerz love!!00
@Lucky777, yes it did get hot man its about 31 deg c around the bulbs and the lit side if the bulb iz just warm the the white part at the back iz some fire man!
Nice tight nodes stacking the 3 fingerd leaves at the top aren't a good thing though it either too hot or too much light early signs of foxtailing bro or have you may want to reduce your light hours to 18 see if she improves at the top
@biggreens420, oh yes! Gotta rule out the suspects! We need an official 'GrowDoctor' on here I think. Some guru who can diagnose every problem for anyone for FREE haha wishfull thinking. What dya think @growdiaries ?? :D
Looking awesome missed this one I defoliate and strip bottom before flipping and then just take the odd bits of what are not needed or blocking buds all way to harvest nothing too much when in flower though
@biggreens420, you didnt miss a thing man.. you'r on the ball and actually reading u know lol thanx for the advice shez mid week 12 now and i had to do some defoli for the humidity 🙏
@biggreens420, thanx man definitely a sativa dominant strain from the effects with really gentle body tingles makes me wanna relax or snuggle up having a giggle fit lolol
Insane roots !! Looking very bushy too, she is goin beast mode 😎
I coincide with u, it is easier to read the plant with more leaves, can see how defs or overdoses progress and how much it hurted the plant..
Best of luck, good vibes.
