This grow I am going to do it differently. I am going to do day tracking instead of date tracking.
I am using using pre-grown ( two grows ago) Coco mix with nature suppers soil to experiment with reusing grow medium.
The pots are 5 gallon air pots. I have never used these before so we will see. The 1st take on them that they are very messy compared to fabric pots.
Once established, I will be using half strength Advanced Nutrients for Coco since these are autos.
Day 1 - 3 Seeds soaked overnight and were put directly into the 5 gallon pots. I pre-soaked the Coco with 5ml/gallon Clonex and covered the seeds with a mason jar.
Day 2 - Temp stayed around 78 all day with me going in and out of the tent looking for a sprout. Nothing yet. 😀 Kept the Coco moist under the jar.
Day 3 - One seed has popped. I sure hope the others do, if not in the next 48 hours, I will plant more.
Day 4 - Two seeds popped and one was up with the husk on and I accidentally pulled it out (dumb ass). I put in another seed.
Day 5 - One of the 2 seeds that popped died. Not sure why but it looked like it would not shake off the seed casing. It was not reaching towards the light then found it laying on it's side. I planted another seed.
Day 6 - The one that has popped seams to be doing well. Only time will tell.
Day 7 - The replacement seed has popped.
I hope all goes well.
Day 13 - One of them are doing good, one is ok and one did not sprout. Out of 5 seeds only 2 came up. I hope the two that go, go good. I also lowered the light to 24"
Day 14 - The girls are loving the lowered lights.
Day 18 - Only have one of the 3 originals have thrived. One of the replacement seams to bee growing well. Not sure if I should top the 3 week old girl.
Day 23 - I was out of town and my humidifier ran dry. My VDP jumped way up and now I am getting it back in control.
Watered each pot 2 cups of only cal-mag.
Working on getting the automation dialed in on this grow. Learning everyday.
The 1st girl that popped is jamming.
The 2nd seed is not as strong.
Day 26 - WOW #1 is way strong and # 2 is not thriving. Going to let dry out another couple days for I feed them.
Day 27 - Looks like the flower is starting on #1. Did some LST and defoliation tonight
WOW, one is going strong! and the other is going ok but, t is about a week behind.
Day- 35 Big strong girl, 💪 reaching up to the lights. She is the best one in the grow right now. Trimmed some leaves that were blocking bud sites.
Things are going well for the most part. The big girl is really starting to drink now. The small one never stretched much but seams to be budding nice.
3/1/2020- I was gone for a week and had them watered twice with just calmag. Both plants are stacking nice. They are totally different in size. One stretched and one is a dwarf. Both are flowing good. I will feed them tomorrow or the next day.
3/6/2020 - These girls are really stacking it up! They are feeding very well. Even though one is a dwarf, the buds are getting thick and dense. The smell is so nice, very berry. One more week then I will flush them.
3/15/2020- I have started the flush on the girls. I am using Flawless Finish with 1/2 gallon per plant. Harvest should be next week.
3/17/2020 - looked at the trichomes today and it was time to harvest the little girl. . I wanted a little more amber ones for a good night time smoke. 84 grams wet. I will wait for making this a harvest until the next one is done.
Each plant was different, once was tall and strong and the other was short and strong. The buds are really dense and heavy.
Very cool strain thought, the smell is very berry and cannot wait to try it. I will up date once dried and cured.
