These girls seem to be really slow off the mark not much growth compared to last time I ran them. Not sure what it could be. I have moved the tent inside my house as was running previous runs in my attic but to to the low temps and the migro lights not giving off much heat thought it was best. Hopefully will see more growth in the next week.
Still not much growth. End of week 3 now. Sure they were way bigger than this last time. Really can't think what could be slowing them down. Guess I just have to let them do what they do.
So the only thing that I can possibly think that could have lead to such slow growth was maybe the light was a bit too close. Strange as this wasnt a problem last time I ran these girls. Well at least they are starting to show some improvement but bear in bind this images are of the end of week 4. Last time I ran them they were starting to go into flower at this point. Will be real interesting to see how they turn out. I ain't holding my breath. Started with some lst on two of them and gave a light feed of 1tbs of black strap mollases to 8l of water. Not sure if it was really needed but guess it can't harm them.
So after slow growth these girls are starting to stretch a little. Would like to see a bit more but can't really grumble to much. Have not showed any signs of calmag deficiencies so that is quite good. I have given a few waterings of blackstrap mollases (1tbs mixed with 8l of water) will try and keep this to 2 feeds 1 water cycle and see how it goes. I may introduce some organic bloom feed in a few weeks if it shows any signs of needing it.
I had to move my tent yesterday from one room to another due to the mother in law coming to stay. This gave me the perfect opportunity to get the girls out and give them some treatment. One had already been tied down and lstd but I had to go in and pull some branches down and go in with some defoliation on the other 2. I wasn't going to bother but really couldn't just leave them. The 4th plant well I have no idea what the hell is going on with that. It's like it's suffering from a case of dwarfism. Really I have no idea where to start with it. I pulled her flat a few weeks back but her arms really aren't stretching. Maybe it's just a genetic thing? I have seen a plant stay so stumpy. Good thing is they are now going into flower but this is the end of week 6 now so I would expect them to be further ahead than this by now. Hopefully it won't be a wasted grow.
Still can't work out what to do with the dwarf. Did a pretty heavy defoliation on the girls this week. Got some nice buds coming on just the long road of bulking out now.
These girls are now starting to do there thing. Buds are starting to get a little frosty and get bigger by the day. Started adding some bloom nutes and calmag as they are showing some of the tell tale signs. Smell is getting stronger. The dwarf is pretty weird showing some growth behavior I have never seen before which is interesting. Would be nice if fastbuds or any other growers have experienced these traits?
So I have been feeding these girls pretty much 2l every 2-3 days and been doing bloom nutes + calmag, then 1tbs blackstrap molasses + calmag, then bloom nutes + calmag, then plane water + calmag. Buds are fattening up nice and getting frostier by the day.
Guess not much more to update just getting more frosty every day. Probably gonna give 1 last feed of bloom nutes then start on the flush of just water.
These girls are now in there final stage. Started flushing them well if that's what you call it. 1 feed with blackstrap and will probably give 2 with plain water PhD to 6.8. Trichomes are a nice mix of Amber and milky with a few clear in so should give a nice buzz!
This was the final week for these girls. Tonight they got the final cut. I roughly cut these to get rid of most of the leaves with out any sugar in them to make it a bit easier to do the final trim when they are dried up fully. Now they are all hung up to dry!
