1-6-20
Started 3 of each strain, Purple Cookie Dough, Cali Sunset, White Widow x G13, and "Do-Si-Do" maybe.
1-9-20
Transplanted the seeds now with tails into Root Riot cubes and put under a 4 bulb 2ft t5
1-12-20
Transplanted all the ladies into solo cups. Fed with Recharge, Rapid Start, Yucca, Maxmicrobe, Mega Crop @ 185ppm (includes 80ppm starting water) around 5.78pH.
1-26-20
So,with everything going on I haven't been able to update as much as I want but oh well sh** happens. Last night I transplanted them out of solo cups into 1/2 gal grow bags into a new batch of coco, since the reused stuff was giving them and me issues. They were being fed enough I thought for being in solos but they were still looking hungry, but also I think the reused stuff was depriving them of some nutrients.
So I bought a brick of Mother Earth coco, and I am unsatisfied with it, even after many many gallons of water I couldn't get the runoff lower than 500ppm which is kind of high. Usually after I run a few gallons of water through the coco, it'll get it as low as my tap water.
1-29-20
Transplanted a few days ago and they seem to be doing well. Put them in the flower tent under the HLG600 dimmed down to 150watts for now till I start the next round and pick up a new veg light. Upped the temp to around 80f and RH to about 50%. Will be topping them and start training soon also.
2-1-20
Started bending and training them down. Growibg fast, will transplant into next pot next weekend
2-6-20
Healthy and growing fast! Continuing to bend and train down to keep them short and squat. Out growing their 1/2 gal pots fast, will transplant this weekend into either 1gals or 2 gals. Feeding @ 550ppm and 5.8-6.1pH.
2-9-20
Transplanted into I think 1gal plastic pots. Roots all looked good on all of them. A few of them are a bit smaller and darker green then the rest, so will back off on the feed for a few days till they lighten up little. Gave them a healthy dose of Recharge along with a dose of nutes. A little bigger and will be topped again and take clones.
2-11-20
Trained them back down in their new pots, will be topping and maybe trying my hand at taking some clones with the tops to see if I can get them to show sex and root. Will be trying to feed some at a lower level because ww1 and ww2 are a bit N heavy it seems and aren't liking it.
Now on the hunt for a better root stimulator during seedling and early veg. Rapid Start was alright, but I think there's better out there.
2-15-20
Growing fast now, all are healthy. Spotted a couple of males out of the bunch so far from preflowers, will wait on the rest to show before I pull them. Will be topping and taking clones of the tops on 2-17. Will be flowering them very soon, maybe the end of this week.
2-17-20
So far have pulled out 2 males out of the bunch, and I believe there's another 2, but I want to make sure because it's hard to tell for sure. Growing good and are healthy. I think I left my cloning cells at the old place and didn't realize it until I was about to take cuts, so they will be done 2-18,then will transplant to final pots Friday or Saturday.
2-20-20
Topped and also super cropped alot of the stems to get them lower. Will give them a couple of days to get over that and will transplant into 2 gal fabric pots and set up the auto feed system this weekend.
2-23-20
All growing well at this time with no problems yet. Tried to reuse the auto feed system from the old hose and realized that it's just not possible with it made in pvc. So will have to come up with a N re and different way.
2-26-20*Side Note*
Took clones of everything for the first time, so we'll see if any survive, all that were females got cuttings taken,, that includes the PCD#1 and Cali#1 that I removed for space so hopefully they can get run next run.
2-29-20
Been pretty sick this week so couldn't update much. But they've been doing well and have been getting tied down a bit to keep em low, also did some super cropping. First night of flower is tonights light cycle.
3-8-20
This was their first week of flower. They are stretching fast and look nice and healthy with no problems. One of the PCD that I thought was a female turned out to be a male, so he got the chop. That means I got rid of the only female PCD when I was culling plants for space 😭
I haven't had good m/f ratios with Hells Canyon Genetics packs.
Completely over hauled the Autofeed system. So instead of running a hard line out of pvc to the drip vertices , I ran 1/2" vinyl tubing to hydro halos. With this system I can add and remove plants as needed, and I also don't loose my tie down spots around the edges of the pots like I did with the old system.
3-11-20
The streching has begun! Will continue to bend, supercrop, and tie down as needed. Right now they are being fed 2 times during lights on, and will increase if they need it.
3-15-20
We are still in the stretch phase, and they are just starting to see bud sets starting. Starting to smell a bit now. The plant on the bottom right was showing signs of heat stress, so I tried to to raise the light a bit and lower the wattage a bit. I will continue to train down branches out of the light.
3-18-20
Did a slight pruning and trimmed up their skirt a bit. Did some more super cropping on a few branches to get them down a bit. Will get rid of all stuff where the larf grows at the end of this week.
The clones are doing OK, there are at 3 that will be kept that have good roots going and starting to show new growth a little, will up pot a A few days or so.
3-22-20
Flowers are starting to form nicely, and the smell is getting stronger and smells great. Started feeding 4x during lights on @.8-1.0ec 6.0pH. Had my oscillating fan die, so for now I have a floor fan running till I get a new one for the tent.
3-27-20
Week 4, day 27, of flower is coming to a end. They are doing very good, looking great, buds are starting to form nicely. They are smelling awesome already, and some have a decent trichome coverage going on. No issues to report yet, and that's always good.
3-30-20
Yummy! That's all I can say when I open up the tent. Will up their feed strength next res change since I think they could use a bit more nutrients.
4-4-20
Week 5 coming to an end and things are looking good and smelling better! Frost is starting to pile on these girls nicely. One thing I did notice on one of the Cali Sunsets is that some of the top most leaves are starting to turn purple from the backside. Don't know if its the strain or maybe a P Def? We'll have to wait and see I guess
4-7-20
Cruising through flower right now. Had the float switch on the pump I was using to feed the tent stop working, so they missed a couple of feeds. So have a back up Danner pump that will now be replacing it.
They are doing good, stacking nicely, and the smells are amazing already.
4-9-20
Opened the tent door to see my fan laying across my canopy 😠😩. Proceeded to get the fan back to where it goes and noticed that the Purple Cookie Dough has some nanners popping out of a few of the main colas, damn! Will probably let her go another 2 weeks and chop her a bit early.
Terrible luck so far with Hells Canyon Genetics, out of a 10 pack of popped PCD total, I've got 2 females, and one of them is now popping nanners. Will stash away the HCG packs for the future.
4-11-20
4-12-20
All going well, girls starting to swell up nice. Already super dense and sticky sticky. Smelling dank with some sweetness. Going into week 7 of flower, will likely start flushing next week and hopefully take them at the end of week 9 or so. The Cali Sunset #2 and the Grisalda Blanco are the stars of this run. The Cali has some nice purpling going on and seems super dense, the GB is super frosty with some nice structure to her.
4-16-20
With week 7 coming to an end quickly, will probably start flushing pretty soon. These girls are very pretty to look at, and my camera just doesn't do them justice at all. They have quickly over taken my carbon filter and so I have a new one on order, they smell awesome and can't wait to try them out!
4-26-20
Flushing them this week, started to a few days ago. They are absolutely stunning and stinky stinky. The 2 Cali Sunset are swelling up nicely at the end here. The Purple Cookie Dough even with popping nanners is nice to look at. The Grisalda Blanco doesn't have the highest buds but there frosty and alot of them.
4-29-20
Getting sexier every day. They are swelling like crazy going through the flushing phase. The nose in the tent is also getting stronger, even opening for a minute and I smell like them. Hopefully will be done soon to move in the other tent to get them rocking under the HLG600.
5-3-20
Going into the last week of flower for these girls. They are doing a final push to put on weight and looking great doing it. Again, the smell is absolutely fantastic and pungent! Both Cali Sunsets and the Purple Cookie Dough are showing purple coloring and it should make for some great looking bud. Still flushing with nothing but Yucca.
5-9-20
Went through and pulled all the leaves that had a long stem to help with drying. Moved them into the veg tent, they will sit in there till tomorrow in the dark until I can cut them and get them hung.
The Grisalda Blanco and the Purple Cookie Dough were a mess from the fan falling into them. They had broken stems all over and had trouble holding up the weight of all the colas, but I pain in the ass trying to pull their leaves.
5-10-20
Chopped them all down and hung to dry. Keeping the tent @50%RH and 68f.
Overall this was a near perfect run with no problems or deficiencies. They did have some nice purpling on the leaves that translated into dark leaves in the buds
@CannaReaper, glad to hear it. You learned the number one rule and that's never stop learning. As long as you do that the ganja gods will always be on your side.
@Denzul, Thank You! Every grow is better than the one before and always trying to improve. The ganja Goss have been good to me so far, hope it continues!
