- Planted 12/24
- all germinated at different rates but the Tangerine Dream was the first to germinate and hasn't looked back since
- Both Tangerine Dream plants seem to be developing 5 finger leaves at the beginning of week 3/ end of week 2
- One of the TD 's is growing significantly bigger than the other (and all the other plants)
- Critical purple plants are also growing 5 finger leaves but seem to be a bit small. I was being very conservative with watering the beginning and only started watering them till the soil is saturated on 01/05
- CP1 got a bit of light burn from the lights being too close in week 2 but corrected it by raising lights.
Currently week 3 day 4 Excited to see how week 3 ends
1st 'official' week of them being in the vegetative state, haven't been monitoring them as intensely
- started Big bloom at 1/2 strength
- One of the Tangerine Dream plants is blooming much quicker than all the others and has started to have a nice citrusy smell in the tent. Also only one growing 7 finger leaves
- Started LST on them, ended up just sticking with it for thee TD plants. The Critical Purple plants seems to be a bit shorter and responding well but its hard without damaging new growth so going to give it some time to get taller
- T2 has many nodes and straightens out pretty quickly with LST.
- Said biggest bloomer seems to have the soil staying damp for a while so i'm not quite sure why that is. I'm worried about what that means for overwatering or if i need to add more perlite to my fox farms soil
- All in all just waiting on them to start flowering and continuing to care for them through it
Defoliated big fan leaves and did some LST on the growing Cola's accidentally snapped off a branch on my biggest girl but that didn't seem to affect her much. Im a bit worried about them not growing but i realized my lights are garbage and not pulling anywhere near the required watts so they're suffering a little bit under this light. Will be getting a new viparspectra light next week
Wow the boom in growth is pretty noticeable with he new lights. Also added some homemade co2 to se if there'd be much of a difference. Between that and the lights i have no idea what my girls are loving but i know they're loving it. The Tangerine Dream plants have a shorter flowering time so i'm going to separate the diaries probably. One of the plants(TD2) is in pre flower and already is growing some pretty pistils. The tent smells citrusy and earthy. Flushed the soil at the end of the week to prep for flowering nutrients for the Tangies
Looked like they had a calcium deficiency cause i noticed some brown spots. Used calmag to try to fix and going to ease off of the other nutrients cause im worried about burning them out. so far they're all starting to form tiny buds. Got a new exhaust fan so added my old one as an intake fan to get some fresh air in there. Its mostly monitoring at this point
one plant seems to be doing significantly better than the other of the 2 tangerine dreams. Definitely made me realise the importance of space in your tent cause it shot outwards and started touching the other plants but i moved things around and im enjoying watching it grow
Flushed them out at the start of the week and switched nutes to general hydroponics. Fox farms was great but seemed to burn them out rather quickly.
I've kind of been slacking on paying attention to T2 cause she was growing really good but then stalled and stayed in pre flower the longest. Was doing her a huge disservice by not continuing to LST her to make her wide. Adjusted her ties to get her some light penetration and defoliated since shes so leafy but has minimal bud growth. Hopefully her buds still have a chance to fatten up even if she wont be doing much growing anymore.
The other tangie's buds are getting dense slowly but surely. she looks like she'll have enough for me to count this as a successful first grow regardless of how the other turns out.
The critical purple plants are flowering as well, small and spaced buds but im not worried. The flowering time is longer on them
I grew a tangerine dream auto last year, loved it! I pulled 3-1/2 ounces off it. The smell when cured is real nice and it’s a good mellow buzz. Yours is looking great. They go on for a while too so no worries if it's not what they say it should be at week time wise. So far it's my hear faborite strain, but the Candy Kush was great too.
