Counted this week as week 1 since clone 1 has vegetative growth. These clones were all planted within 15 days of each other and have been combined into one diary. Each cutting has been under its own stressors and were taken from a flowering mother plant. Clone 1 was taken during day 8 of flowering. It has been planted in soil for 15 days and has shown vegetative growth. Clone 2 was taken during day 10 of flower and was placed in the refrigerator in a cup of water. 10 days later it was rediscovered in the fridge, cut, dipped in clonex rooting gel and planted. It has not grown but has not yellowed either. It is able to be out of the humidity dome for hours without wilting badly. Clone 1 wilted badly without humidity for the first week. Clone 3 was taken during day 18 of flower and simply placed in some water. It may or may not root but I wanted to see if I could make the plants root at different times which would give me the ability to throw them into flower at different times. I have a flowering tent(24”x48”x60”) with two Sunraise 1000W LED lights in it and a vegetative tent(24”x36”x53”) with one 1000W Sunraise LED light in it. I plan on perpetually moving these clones into flowering to harvest a plant approximately every 2-3 weeks if they all root. If only clone 1 roots I will continue the diary normally.

Clone 3- PT clone in bottle was moved to soil as it was wilting badly. Clone 1- Older clone in veg continued to grow good this week. Not sure if it will try to throw pistils or not. Seems to still have preflowers from the mother plant. Clone 2- roots starting to grow but hasn’t grown any new growth on top yet.

Repotted the larger clone into a 5 gallon smart pot into a mix of happy frog soil and perlite. Gave it a low dose of nutes following the fox farm feeding schedule for week 4 for the liquid nutes and used quarter to half the recommended strength for each. Other clones seems to be fully revegging again as well and are done rooting. This one is being used for something else and won’t have any more updates in this journal.

Continuing to grow, looking less stressed this week. Super cropped a few branches, she isn’t fully in vegetative growth just yet. I may try to keep this plant as a mother plant for clones once she’s in full vegetative growth again. I’m unsure what I’m going to do with it right now. I have three purple trainwreck plants in the flowering tent right now. The smaller clone is now here: https://growdiaries.com/diaries/50174-purple-train-wreck-2-grow-journal-by-katana3715

Defoliated this week, reveg growth is very noticeable. I cut off most of the single, double and triple bladed leaves. I moved my tent divider and shelf back in so I can grow seedlings/clones in a smal chamber if I want to. I added a small LED into the corner under the shelf where this plant is now to help the two plants that got stuck in the shadow. I will thin out stems eventually. My plan is to take clones off this plant and because of this I may leave most of the bushy growth on so I can take multiple cuts. If you watch the video- fair warning... my inline fan is noisy. It has started making a grinding noise and it is not pleasant to listen to 🤷‍♀️🏼

Plan on defoliating later this week. She’s getting super bushy and is definitely fully vegging now. Lots of potential from this plant. I’m unsure if I want to clone her out or if I want to flower her. I threw my older PT clone into flower and it stretched more than I expected.

Getting much healthier and bigger. Defoliating heavily when needed. I’m essentially making this clone into a bonsai tree until I can flower her. I have decided I have to stop growing soon and will be cloning all my plants to try and get seeds. I purchased colloidal silver to Hermie a plant. I want to clone every strain I have... then choose one plant to “father” all the seeds by spraying it with the colloidal silver. If I do this right I should end up with feminized seeds to use to grow again in the future. Until then, I am keeping this bigger plant in veg so I can take a few clone cuts off her.

Just realized I hadn’t updated this diary in a few weeks. Need to catch this one back up. Plant is growing well, turned to 12/12 this week. The “grow stopper” diary includes all diaries I am currently updating. This plant is better than the previous plants before it. Hoping to get a decent yield off her.

Pistils appeared, stretch has started. She’s going strong. Haven’t defoliated this plant much, most letting her grow on her own. This plant was a monster cropped clone and has lots of bud sites forming.

Discovered a male plant in with my girls in the bigger tent. No pods had burst, it was only about 10 days in to flower. Moved the male to the small tent and moved the older flowering PT clone to the big tent. The larger plant has less time for seeds to develop and while I want seeds, I still want quality bud as well... trying to minimize pollination as much as I can until I have the chance to selectively pollinate branches on each of my girls. This plant got moved to the large tent and ScrOGed. Here’s to hoping I am able to minimize the pollination. This is an end grow and I don’t have any seeds put back so the male isn’t getting chopped until he does fertilize a few females. So far the male has been reduced to three main colas, I hope to only pollinate one branch on each female. Some random seeds from natural pollination are also okay if it happens. Ignore my commentary on the video unless you just want to know about the strains I have lol... a friend has a clone about the same size of the same strain and asked about my grow since getting the same lights I have.

ScrOGed this girl in the big flowering tent. Lots of stretch and good development this week. Budsites dknt appear too far between each site. Super excited about this monster cropped plant... thinking she’ll be my biggest yielding Purple Trainwreck plant to date. Crossed this girl with an unknown bag seed. He can either be another pt plant with perhaps a different pheno or a white widow plant based on the seeds I had available as a possibility. Pollinated and marked a branch on this girl, unsure of the strain on the male but whatever he is he’s a hybrid. He appeared indica as a seedling and throughout veg but the sativa look dominated him in flower. Dark green and healthy, I’m excited to see what kind of crosses I can make. Pollinated branches are marked with a green plant tie.

Growing well, starting to see some trichomes development. This girl really stretched out, loving her size. Lots of bud sites, I think this PT will be my biggest producer out of the three I’ve grown. Smells very flowery and fruity, loving how vigorous this plant is growing.

This plant is going to be the heaviest yielding other of my purple trainwreck plants. Super excited to see what this plant will do. I was able to get the second PT clone to turn semi-purple on the bud, trich’s were better and smoke seemed to be about 2x as potent as the first grow. I’m not sure what kind of potency this third plant will have but I’m hooping for good things. She flowered early on me instead of during 12/12(started throwing pistils) so I may have her flowering date off by a week or two. I think I stressed her into flowering by drying her out too much in veg. Regardless, I’m excited to see what she does. So far seems to be the healthiest PT I’ve been able to grow. Thanks for reading and happy growing! 👩‍🌾🏼🌱

Growing really well, still think this one will be my heaviest yielding! She’s covered in a thick resin and continues to push pistils out, this one may have the density I’ve been trying to get. I think I’ve finally figured this strain out, looking forward to the bud off this girl. The bud that was pollinated is beginning to yellow, I will likely go ahead and snip that off towards the end of the week when the seed pods begin to open but before the seeds actually drop. Some of the other plants that had buds that were pollinated have already been harvested for the seeds. I left the remainder of the plants to finish up.

Lots of bud development this week, trich’s are starting to cover everything and she’s looking frosty. More weight to buds this week, thinking she will pack in the weight in the coming weeks. Again, this plant flowered early on its own when I didn’t water her enough in veg. She may finish earlier than my other PT plants. Excited to see how she finishes up.

Haven’t updated the diary in a bit, accidentally let her dry too much this week, forgot to water with other things going on. Watered and hoped for the best. Plant has started to develop amber trichomes, pistils are beginning to die back as well.

Absolutely love growing this strain. Requires watering often which I neglected towards the end which impacted my yield but overall these buds are bomb.

Plant has the most potent bud I’ve grown so far, either from over stressing the plant from lack of water(whoops) or fox farm. Regardless, I’m happy with what I grew! Absolutely love the taste, smoke is sweet and ended up with multiple ounces from one plant. Not bad for my little closet grow 👩‍🌾🏼
