Critical Jack

This Critical Jack seed was a freebie received along with several others when i ordered my serious seeds Ak47, so i'm using them first to dial in my grow room and for me to get to grips with new light etc, and refresh my growing techniques 😷. Hopefully i wont make to many mistakes and get a few different strains for the empty jars !!🙏 I re-potted them a few days ago from 3l to 20l pots. They were starting to get pot bound as there was a delay in my soil arriving so spent a little to long in the 3l pot and didn't like it, there a lot happier now and looking a lot better. I have also been "tweeking" the light - adjusting wattage and height, moving plant's etc, etc, to try and make all plant's happy 😲. That's the problem of growing multiple strains-they all have different wants and needs !! It was germinated on 25/12/19 and took just over a week to pop its head up (due to cold weather). Sorry no pics of them before i re-potted them, but will post some weekly from now on 😀👍. Growing in Bio Bizz all mix and using Bio Bizz nutrients following there shedule. It's been topped and i have started LSTing branches to create a more even canopy. More pics next week..........👊

She's looking healthy and is starting to fill out a bit now she's rooted her new pot, very resilient little plant - the only one that didn't show any signs of stress or leaf symptoms like all the others did to variables in light, nute levels, etc etc .She also recovered quick when she was getting a bit root bound in small 3l pot, 😟Doh!! She's stayed very squat so far and is building very solid branches, good base for flowering. 😋 Gave her a haircut a couple of days ago, mainly fan leaf's as they get bigger and start to shade growth tips. Flipping tent to 12/12 this week so we'll see what she's got !!

Well its grown a bit this week bit it still is a very stocky plant, as it's smaller than the rest it's right under the light so it's bathed in light all over, so it's stayed fairly short. Her branches are solid and as a result they don't bend as easy as my others , but they shouldn't need any bud/branch support in flowering. I'm hoping it's a good foundation for things to come 🙏 Switched to 12/12 this week so there's been a lot of growth in the tent, had to give a hair cut a few days ago- bigger fan leaves and any growth at the bottom of branches that wont get light got the chop. I only watered when needed with BioBizz nute's and so far she's doing ok. See you next week !! Chameleon 👊

Well another week has passed and this Critical Jack hasn't stretched as much this week, and you can see the bud sites starting to develop. She is a very strong plant that's stayed very squat compared to the rest. I have a Kandy Kush and Wedding Cake that have shot up past my AK47 !! She needed trimming a couple of times to open her up to light and air, now rapid bud formation can develop all the way down her stocky branches. I'm looking forward to see what she can do in flowering, she smells good and has a good foundation for bud formation. This plant hasn't missed a beat so far and has stayed healthy and green throughout veg, while the rest have shown various symptoms of stress and i had to adjust light, nute strength and watering frequency to compensate. If this Critical Jack handles flowering in the same way then it would make an ideal strain for anyone new to this hobby !! Until the next time - Keep it green 👊😉

Well flowering is well under way now and buds are starting to form nicely. Trimmed a few leaves that were in the way of light getting to lower bud sites, careful not to remove to many and slow growth, i always err on the side of caution !! ( you can always re-trim, but you can't put em back !! ) Carried on watering with biobizz nutes increasing bloom formula. Now can't wait for her to develop, she is starting to smell fantastic. 😋👊

Well another week done and this little Critical Jack is well under way forming buds. There already frosty and have a fantastic fruity aroma, nice phenotype to have, you can see where she gets it from, just like Critical 2.0. Not had the pleasure of growing or smoking Jack Herer so wouldn't know what traits/ phenos it has !! It's growing nicely and taking extra nutes well, so hopefully buds should fatten up nicely, from now until harvest. Did a bit of pruning, removing large fan leaves and reducing shade to lower branches, and adjusted tie lines to expose branches to more light. Watered when needed with BioBizz nutes. Well this Critical Jack is growing fantastic, flowering at pace and stacking nicely. This plant has not had any problems like my others and it's the furthest away from the light !! It smells fantastic and can't wait to see what she going to end up 😘 Just watering her with BioBizz nutes @ 6.5 as schedule and she seems very happy at the moment and she's been a joy to grow up to now 👍 Her squat stature has meant her branches are covered with buds all the way to the main stem !! She seems to be in the sweet spot of the light and nutes i think, and will have to be careful when doing any tweeks to help out my others !!😯 Well until next week people, keep it green !!👊😀

So another week done, and she's just doing her thing as usual 👌 This Critical Jack is a perfect strain for beginners ( thankfully 🙏) she's a very resilient plant and not as sensitive to changes as some other plants seem to be. The bud's are starting to fatten up and she's covered in resin and smelling fantastic, like fermenting fruit 😘 Can't wait to sample this one, last few week now and she'll be ready 👌 Fed with higher nute levels this week and just rotated pot 1/4 turn per day so all bud's get light and are uniform. Will be starting to give her blackstrap mollasas in the last week or so then a water flush before harvest ( just done same with another !! 😋). That's all till next time 👊
