Moved some small clones after sitting in an aeroponic cloner for 2 weeks. We waited until they had 3 <--> 4 inch roots before transplanting them into the 6 site system. This is our first time growing with a hydroponic sysyem and first time indoors also. Running 4 weaker clones in fox farm's ocean floor blend to see the difference in growth rate between the 2 mediums.
The plants are showing good signs of growth coming from the baby clones. We bumped the nutrient level up to about a 50% feeding according to the GHE feed chart. Some leaves have random spotting hopefully due to standing water from misting so we will be switching over to a humidifier to keep the humidity up.
Week 3 from the baby clones. Leaves are looking much greener this week, hopefully they stay on their current path and continue to keep having good new growth. Swapped the holding to with fresh water and brought it back up to the ppms we're looking for. Going to see how the week goes and move forward with LST when the plants get a little bigger.
The plants have good roots now and are sucking up the nutes and picking up the place with their growth rates. The Fox farm soil plants are growing up quick. We switched to feeding them straight water for a bit, we saw a little tip burn so pure H20. We keep moving forward with the LST to try and set up our canopy after the flowering stretch. The light got raised a few inches to give the leaves a little bit of a break.

So this week we are switching to flowering and taking a flood cycle out of the feeding schedule. The hydro plants are catching up to the soil plants and the tent is really starting to fill out ! Me and my partner have been keeping up on the training and were very happy with the results. I think we achieved the canopy look we were shooting for, so time to flower !!
Were still following the floral series feeding scheduled within reason. The soil plants still have a little burn on the tips but we were overfeeding them, newbie mistake, but were flushing them with fresh water to give them a break. We cant wait to see the what happened in the weeks to come. Waiting to see what kind of stretch we get from them.
EDIT:: mid week.
The plants still have a great growth rate and are noticeably different every day. We went ahead and pulled them out of the buckets and gave them a good trimming before they get through the net. LST is paying off, we have a bunch of top growth so hopefully we get the sea of green look were going for.
The plants are still growing at a good pace. Just finished their 1st week on 12-12. They definitely filled out so we went ahead and did like a 40 % defoliation to help the light get through all those branches. Waiting to see the start of the stretch and some more early signs of preflower. I was short on time or inwould have more up close shots of early signs, I'll edit mid week and update on how they bounced back from the trimming.
Not much changed this week. The plants are getting bushy and didnt have much of a stretch yet. Still trying to do a little light stress training to fill in empty spots in the canopy. Bud sites are definitely starting to develop and they're starting to stink just a little more.
Pretty quiet week in the tent. We did a little defoliation during the middle of the week but they are already full little bushes again. We raised the light up a bit to try and get them to stretch from the pots so we can lollipop in a few weeks. Our soil plants are doing very well too, @Foxfarm has really proven to be a great soil and the northen soul strain loves it. The smell inside the tent is definitely strong and they have been drinking alot more water.
What a crazy few weeks ! Got all settled in with the current madness going on in the world. The plants are flowering big time and have a really nice smell. @MarsHydro really put together a good light with the SP250 model and the plants have loved them the whole grow. No trimming this week, just a little foliar feeding when I get to pop by and check them. Feeding is still basically the suggest on the general hydroponic charts. @@Resin_Randy, So were running the Big boy ebb and flow from HTGsupply.com. it's the first automated system we've ever run and so far it's working great. The set up with the "instructions" they set me were a little trial and error and had to end up buying more hose but overall I feel it's a great system.
