4 of my plants stopped growing after day 3. I flushed 2 of them because my runoff EC was 3.6. I want to see if flushing will help then I will flush other two plants. Please help me Last watering was on day 7 and flushing on 2 plants was on day 7 as well _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 27/01/2020 day 8: reviving started . light height was increased to 115 cm(45") Plant CCA1: Stunted Grow, didn't Flush Plant CCA2: Stunted Grow, didn't Flush Plant CCB1: Stunted Grow, in the Flushed soil Plant CCB2: Stunted Grow, in the Flushed soil Plant CCC1: slow grow, didn't Flush soil _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Day 9: Dome added on top of seedlings, and added more fans and air flowing throughout grow area. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Day 10: some minor development on CCB1, CCB2(those that i Flushed). CCC1 is growing a bit faster(this Plant didn't have any problem). Day 10: soil was dry on top for CCA1 and CCA2, so these two seedlings been watered with 6.0 PH and 0.3 EC. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Day 11: Plant CCA1 and CCA2 showing some signs. Plant CCB1 was the weakest one , therefore I removed it from big pot and transplanted it to a 1 Litre pot , so soil could dry faster and I am treating her with 0.5 ml Advanced Nutrient Piranha in 1L water with 6.1 PH and 0.3 EC. I will give her 100ml every day for 10 days. Plant CCB2: showing more signs of development than the rest. she is still in flushed soil and soil still drying up Plant CCC1: was the one which didn't have a stunned growth and will feed her for first time tomorrow. According to all advices I passed following steps: increasing light height, soil will dry up until tomorrow. I gonna start light feeding for some of them tomorrow and the rest other day. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Day 12: CCA1 and CCA2 was watered(6.0 PH and 0.3 EC) 0.5 Litre CCB1: transplanted one, she is being treated with 100 ml containing 0.5ml Piranha mixed with 1 litre water per day.(5.9 PH-0.3EC) CCB2: she been fed with 0.4L water mixed with Piranha CCC1: she had her 1.5 L low dose First time nutrient feeding(using 1/4 Strength of what recommended of Sensi Grow A&B,B52,Voodoo Juice,Piranha,Tarantula) with 5.9 PH and 0.5EC. I will update about her end of day 12 or beginning of day 13. she enjoying it from very first moment. I will update about different methods that I used for each of plants to revive them. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Day 13: I transplanted other two seedling(CCA1 and CCA2) to 1 Litre pot for treatment because I used @Vincent11 methods for CCB1 and his advice helped me quite fast. But I see some yellowish colour on new leaves. it may be a nitrogen deficiency as @Jinks101 stated before or transplant stress. CCA1: transplanted to 1 litre pot and using Piranha 0.5 ml in 1 L water and watering it with 100 ml per day same as i did for CCB1.(5.9 PH-0.3EC) CCA2: transplanted to 1 litre pot and using Piranha 0.5 ml in 1 L water and watering it with 100 ml per day.(5.9 PH-0.3EC) CCB1: I see some yellowish colour on new leaves. it may be a nitrogen deficiency or transplant stress, she is still being treated with 100 ml containing 0.5ml Piranha mixed with 1 litre water per day.(5.9 PH-0.3EC) CCB2: she had her 1.5 L low dose First time nutrient feeding(using 1/4 Strength of what recommended of Sensi Grow A&B,B52,Voodoo Juice,Piranha,Tarantula) with 5.9 PH and 0.5EC. but there is some white line in the middle of leaves. CCC1: I uploaded a photo so we can compare her before and after first feeding on day 12 and after feeding in day 13. but there is some white line in the middle of leaves like CCB2. she will have her first watering with 10% run off in a day or two. I will use water-feed technique. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Day 14: Its last day of the week and listening to everyone advices helped me to recover my plants. increasing light height ,decreasing room humidity, adding dome, adding more air circulation, transplanting weakest seedling to 1L pot and treating them with 100ml(0/5ml Piranha+1L water),deceasing watering ph to 6.0, transplanted seedling soil mixed with some peat moss so i could decrease soil ph from 7.8 to 7.2, letting soil dry. CCA1: she is being treated with 100 ml containing 0.5ml Piranha mixed with 1 litre water per day.(5.9 PH-0.3EC) CCA2: she is being treated with 100 ml containing 0.5ml Piranha mixed with 1 litre water per day.(5.9 PH-0.3EC) CCB1: she had her 100 ml low dose First time nutrient feeding(using 1/4 Strength of what recommended of Sensi Grow A&B,B52,Voodoo Juice,Piranha,Tarantula) with 5.9 PH and 0.5EC. she improved a lot, I am quite happy that i saved her because she was the weakest one. CCB2: She was fed yesterday, so she was enjoying all her day. CCC1: she had her proper 3L water(5.9PH,0.3 EC) feed with 20% run off( runoff PH is still high for this plant) Wrapping up this week i uploaded pictures of each plant comparing it with day 8 when reviving started. Thanks everyone for following this diary.

Hi Growers, 4 of my plants stopped to grow after day 3. I didn't use any kind of nutrient. I am growing in soil feeding 6.5 PH water with 0.3 EC. My runoff was 7.8 ph and 3.6 EC. I flushed 2 of my Plants on day 7 to see any improvement. is it overwatering or root PH,EC problem?

Hi Buddy Definitely need to get your PH down if possible to 6PH. I never use more than 6PH in Soil. To high PH will stun any grow never-mind a seedling. It looks to high PH and that has stunned your young plants already. Your soil looks so wet in the pictures could be overwatering as well with PH to high And you have a problem. Suggestions 1-Get your watering PH to 6PH. 2-Leave the soil to dry out to 5% moisture before watering. 3-Seedlings barely need more than 100/150ml of water a day in the first 2 weeks. Hope this helps and good luck with your growth.

Hi, Great work so far. Good control of temp, humidity, an RH. And I like the art work. Great for jar label. From trichome pic, it doesn’t look like she is ready. To me she would go until after week 12. I know that this is contrary to what Fast buds said in the description. Trichome look deliciously long and is still cloudy. She will certainly get you very high at this point. But if you let her mature a bit, it will be a much better high. On the other hand, I am not using your nute regime. There should be some thing that your β€œbud nutes” formularies says. If it were me, I would put this as β€œtwo weeks before harvest”. Generally, just feed with water for week 11. Then check trichome again after week 11. If you like what you see, go ahead and flush. Harvest on day 5 of week 12. Cheers, and stay safe.

@silverback_Guerilla @Vincent11 @Denzul According to all advices; I am going to take following steps in order : First step: Light height increased to 45"(115 cm) Second step:I will let the soil dry up Third Step: I will water seedling with 6.0 Ph . I will use less water this time Forth Step: If still nothing I'd give it a half maybe quarter strength feeding.

@Bashgrowsitall1989 @punxneverdead @Med_in_Tropic , I did a bit research and I am not going to try topping or FIM in this run , because of my plants situation at the moment. I decided to put all my energy on learning LST and I will try going in circle. How early on veg stage performing LST is possible? After how many nodes should I give it a try?

Bashgrowsitall1989
Bashgrowsitall1989
@cannabis_connoisseur_circle, You're decision not too Top or Fim this time is a good idea, but u can still lst, plants up until 4 weeks old can still be manipulated slowly and gently for lst, but u can start lst as soon as the 2nd or 3rd node appears, start tieing side branches down too allow more light inside the plant, I dont do this as I hand bend everyday just a small amount too get them too lean out more, then the next day they will have sort of stood back up but with some bend left in the stalk, wo I continue doing it till the bend stays and the plants is now growing straight up but with lots of area between branches too help when it goes into flower.

@rhodes68, you can use Advanced nutrient in soil (https://www.advancednutrients.com/feeding-recipe/) but you should use 1/2 or 1/4 strength of what they suggest. I gonna use two different feeding program , 1. advanced nutrient Feeding schedule for beginner and other TANG's feeding schedule.

@cannabis_connoisseur_circle, Not vary familiar with the line but I thought them hydro not soil but I guess it all works πŸ˜„ I am sure it has a microorganic-ish feed, be sure to put them in the nuet list so we can see. I always feed them Kangaroots (or any of the rooting enhancers IRCC) the first week in low doses of course as well normal nuets in very low doses, 100 ppm or so, then start increasing as they grow. I do hydro now but even in soil I found that feeding them was the key to early growth and with autos its all about getting big quick. Again you keep using EC and have hydro nuets but you are growing in soil... its kinda confusing and I am sure there is a story there...πŸ‘.

@cannabis_connoisseur_circle, to be honest with any new strain of autos I would just let it grow its own way first just to get an idea of the genetics then you know what you are up against. You could be trying to last a plant that doesn't really need it. I found that with my last run of cream cookies I ran. Lst 2 of them and didn't really do much on the other 2 and the yeilds were basically the same.

@Med_in_Tropic,Thanks for mentioning this. That's what scares me at this stage because as you mentioned I am growing autos and I don't have an extra lucky card to lose it because they already lost a bit of time as they were recovering from previous mistake that I made πŸ˜‘.

Good set up. And people did say that auto should not be transplanted. Too big of a pot leads to too much water. So, use only spray bottle or syringe to water your babies. EC is high. But do'nt worry about that and pH just yet. If you want to flush, I think it is better to dig up the plants and put in 1 liter container. Otherwise you will flushing away unused fertilizer. For my auto, I start in small container. Wait until it is root bound. Then transfer only once. What are in your soil? When I first started, I added ingredient that worked well with other plants. And those either killed or dwarfed my early grows. For me growing cannabis is like growing four different plants. Each stage has different need in term of light, water, fertilizer, and pests prevention. It is fun for me. And I respect those who grows. For seedling tage it is important to avoid fungus attack and death from damping off. Overwatering is bad. Then second priority is to grow root. You can use various additives later. There are many calcium based root promoter. Do not use auxin, IAA. These will stunt plants. And auto can not recover from these. Check around. And good luck.

In soil EC is fairly unused as it only applies to forms of hydro, only PH in matters at this point without cause for concern and I see none. The second set of leaves show no light burn and the plants are stretching a bit so no indication of problems with the light from the photos.

@Silverback_Guerilla, I added dome over seedlings. I will give an update with photos and video in a few days.
Silverback_Guerilla
Silverback_Guerilla
@cannabis_connoisseur_circle, Ya, I don't actually see any signs of overwatering in your photos..no droop, but do let them dry almost all the way out between waterings. To ensure that you don't let them dry out too much, do as suggested and either put a humidifier in the room to bring RH up to 65%+ or put a "dome" over the seedlings so that the humidity inside the dome stays high enough for the seedlings to absorb moisture through their leaves. Also, if you are using a good soil mix, there's really no need to fertilize for the first week or so, and can actually stunt them if the nutes burn their young root tips.
