Hey there folks,
This time will be my first try at this strain. I've heard good things about it, but have seen limited grow information. Hopefully this helps folks get an idea about ease, etc.
Nothing to really report. Seems to be growing good. It's too early to know if it is meaningful, but I do notice that the distance between nodes appears to be longer than strains that I've previously grown.
This one had put on enough size that it was time to transplant into a larger container and move down to the grow tent. Since the node distance seems larger, I put it in a cloth pot, which has the lower profile of my container options. Should help keep it from growing into the light, down the road. Also did some LST. This one is obviously not gonna be the easiest to train, as it seems to get wood-y, very quickly. Will have to keep a close eye on growth.
So, this little one had some transplant shock and didn't really do much for most of the past week. A couple days ago, I gave it a dusting of blood meal and watered with some epsom salt in the jug. Seems like the boost of nitrogen worked to snap it out of shock. For the past two days, it has returned to a fairly normal rate of growth and seems to be back on track. Due to little growth, I didn't need to do any additional LSTing, this week.
Not really sure what the story is with this one. It did great, initially. Then it seems to have had some transplant shock. It shook that off, but lower branches still weren't really developing. As of this morning, lower colas seem to have started to put on some size. Hopefully this is the sign that the last of the transplant shock is over and that it will start putting on size.
After last week's light defoliation, the side branches seem to have rallied. Noth new to report. My guess is that she goes into stretch within the next week. After a slow start, this one seems to be hitting its stride.
Growing with vigor. I expect flowering period to begin pretty much any day. I took a few larger fan leaves off, to help the lower colas get more light and grow higher.
This one has been a bit of a head scratcher. It is starting to go into flower, but it does seem to have some kind of mutation. At first, I thought the leaf deformities came from some nutrient imbalance, but they are fairly uniform and continuous. Anyway, besides that, it seems to be doing pretty good. Next week it will firmly be in the flowering process.
Alrighty, we're into flower! It was going into flowering, last week, but this week it has really gotten into the next phase, plant-wide. She appears to be having a good time and seems to be healthier, compared to when it was a seedling. I think this one's gonna end up being a decent yield, despite initial growth speed bumps. Both leafing and branching look to be good, though the mutation in some leaves seems to still be there. Doesn't seem to really matter, though
Well, this one is growing and happy, as far as I can tell. I'm enjoying watching these buds develop. They appear to have a nice, dense structure taking shape. It does seem to be going through the flowering process at a bit of a faster clip, compared to my Grower's Choice seeds, which makes sense for a strain that came from the Fast and Vast line.
This plant continues to be happy and healthy. I've gotta hand it to the breeders, because the buds look really solid and like it will produce decent weight, despite the plant's small size. Really happy with how this one is coming along.
Finishing strong. Great plant, skunky grape scent is pretty potent, at this point. As we're coming to the end, I have to say that I am struck by the amount of bud for such a small plant. This is gonna be a good one for folks doing closet grows.
These buds are thick, which makes it a real easy trim. One note, you will probably have to pull these buds out of the jars. The thick buds hold water that comes back out, the first day in the jars. If you want to avoid mold, I'd suggest taking them out and letting them dry a bit more, after 24 hours in the jars.
