First Grow - Bruce Banner #3

My first grow. It's been a long time coming. This grow is 4 plants, 4 strains in a 90x90x200 with a 440w LED. Bruce Banner #3 Gorilla Zskittles Amnesia Haze Blue Gelato 41 The Banner and Skittles broke the soil successfully this week but unfortunately the Amnesia and Gelato didn't cut the mustard. Successfully germinated on second attempt however this means they are a little behind the the other 2 for now. I have the light dimmed to around 20% as the ladies were showing signs of having too much light, a slight yellowing to the ends of the leaves on the Skittles? This was with the light at around 50%. Will ramp this up slowly over the next couple of week once the other 2 break soil.

Just like the Goriila Zskittles this girls roots started to show at the base of the pots so I've moved her into her penultimate pot now. Next stop the smart pot. Her stem is firming up lovely and she's starting to show some lateral growth. I was slightly concerned because her growth slowed down quite a bit but from looking at her roots compared to the the skittles it's clear she's been busy down below. Overall she looks really healthy. Once the other seedlings catch up a bit ill start to ramp up the light. LST will start soon!

The ladies are looking amazing. I'm real happy with their progress. They're keeping a real nice distance between nodes. They got their first feed yesterday at half dose. They've taken it well so will adjust accordingly moving forward. The Banner is putting out crazy roots. It's almost time to put this girl into the 40l smart pot. The lateral growth is thickening. I'm going to top her as soon as I can and do a bit of lst. There is a slight curling on the edge of the leaves(?) but other than that there's no other apparent issues. The Skittles is bossing it right now and will also need to be moved to the smart pot. Brilliant lateral growth and it is pretty much ready to top. The Blue Gelato and amnesia Haze are on Day 7 and are looking great for moving into their second week. They've been moved into their next pot and I'm hoping they catch up with the other ASAP. Update: This lady went into her 46l smart pot on day 18 ant topped at the same time. Time for an explosion of growth and some LST.

This lady is doing great, she had a little bit of nitrogen toxicity but is over the worst of it. She is a lot bushier than the phenos my mate is growing is seems. She has been topped and trained with LST.

Very little concerns for any of the ladies since I stopped the ferts. This girl has been spread out with some LST and looks to be set to put out quite a few tops. She has been thinned out countless times and it seems to be never ending at this point. Thinking about giving her another week or two and flipping to flower. I'm not sure how long I can keep her as low as the amnesia. Dreaming of harvest time 😂

The banner is so thick with leaves its insane. Find myself endlessly defoliating her. She isn't as wide as the skittles but she still has a load of potential tops. I'm going to start nutrients again and aim to flip her to flower in a week.

More defoliation, it never stops. She looks super healthy and ready to go into flower. Today was her last day in veg. Bring on flower and let's pray to the bud development gods to be kind 😂

Everything looking good for this girl. Great strong growth and the defoliation continues. A good number of top sites. Seems the be a short pheno, I expected it to really stretch right off the bat. Time will tell.

Short and chunky. I expected this girl to have stretched more than she has. Hoping she continues to stretch. She has a lovely canopy with a nice amount of tops so hoping the lack of height won't impact the yield. She is developing really well. I can't wait for the smells to begin to develop!

End of week 3. Looking good. She is covered in bud sites. Some decent development so far. She hasn't stretched as much as I'd have liked but her colas look to start pretty low. Time well tell how much she will produce. Can't wait to watch her bulk up!

All looking good with the banner. The frost is coming and the smell is developing. She has stacked well and I think she might give the largest colas of the smaller plants. Hoping this makes up for the fact that she hardly stretched. The small plants are being raised so I can keep them close to the light. The amnesia is trying to bully them all. Been defoliating continuously with this lady. Hoping that can stop now and I can just watch her ripen up!

The nugs looks super dense already. Hard to get a smell from her yet. Perhaps a hint of cheese. She is set to give quite the yield. Nothing new to report.

The banner is looking like it's namesake. Big, green and mean. She is super dense and has colas almost as long as she is. She is fattening up. She is giving the Gelato a run for its money when it comes to bud size.

It's really hard to place the smell of this lady. It's not like anything I've ever smelled before. She is fattening up well and is nice and sugary. Not much else to report other than I can't wait to smoke this strain.

This girl has such a unique smell, like nothing I've smelled before. I can't wait to smoke her. She is coming along nicely, fattening up and started to ripen. I can see her colours changing. Not long till harvest now! Thanks for stopping by!

I've not had a lot of time with the ladies recently and I've missed this one. She is colouring up lovely. She will definitely be ready to harvest when week 10 finishes. Can't wait to smoke her.

This girl was ready for the chop on day 70. She is phat but there's more larf than I wanted. Lesson learned for next time around - defoliate more. I put this down to how thick and quick she grew foliage. She has a lot of leaf and I'm not looking forward to trimming her 😂 smoking her, that's a different story. I can't wait! I overlooked this lady during the grow, mainly down to the unique aroma, its hard to pin down. An almost creamy dank taste and smell which never really stood out in the tent. She grew thick and fast, I found myself defoliating constantly. I never done enough really which is reflected in the lower than expected yield - not that I'm disappointed! I will definitely be growing this strain again. Next time though I'll be aiming to grow a monster. The jars already smell unreal and that mild smell that was there initially is no more! I can't wait to see what a month long cure will do to them! Great genetics and a great result! I'm real happy with the results for my first grow 💪👌
