First Grow - Gorilla ZSkittles

My first grow. It's been a long time coming. This grow is 4 plants, 4 strains in a 90x90x200 with a 440w LED. Bruce Banner #3 Gorilla Zskittles Amnesia Haze Blue Gelato 41 The Banner and Skittles broke the soil successfully this week but unfortunately the Amnesia and Gelato didn't cut the mustard. Successfully germinated on second attempt however this means they are a little behind the the other 2 for now. I have the light dimmed to around 20% as the ladies were showing signs of having too much light, a slight yellowing to the ends of the leaves on the Skittles? This was with the light at around 50%. Will ramp this up slowly over the next couple of week once the other 2 break soil.

Roots started to show at the base of the pots so I've moved her into her penultimate pot now. Next stop the smart pot. Her stem is firming up lovely and she's starting to show some lateral growth. Overall she looks really healthy. Once the other seedlings catch up a bit ill start to ramp up the light. LST will start soon!

The ladies are looking amazing. I'm real happy with their progress. They're keeping a real nice distance between nodes. They got their first feed yesterday at half dose. They've taken it well so will adjust accordingly moving forward. The Banner is putting out crazy roots. It's almost time to put this girl into the 40l smart pot. The lateral growth is thickening. I'm going to top her as soon as I can and do a bit of lst. There is a slight curling on the edge of the leaves(?) but other than that there's no other apparent issues. The Skittles is bossing it right now and will also need to be moved to the smart pot. Brilliant lateral growth and it is pretty much ready to top. The Blue Gelato and amnesia Haze are on Day 7 and are looking great for moving into their second week. They've been moved into their next pot and I'm hoping they catch up with the other ASAP. Update: This lady went into her 46l smart pot on day 18 ant topped at the same time. Time for an explosion of growth and some LST.

This lady is doing excellent. Trained her pretty good with LST after topping her once. She suffered a bit of slight nute burn but overall she looks like she will give me lots of tops!

Very little concerns for any of the ladies. This girl has been spread out with some LST. She is much wider than the banner and has a lot more tops coming up. Thinking about giving her another week or two and flipping to flower. I'm not sure how long I can keep her as low as the amnesia, she really wants to go. Pre flowers showing. This girl wants to go now. Expecting big things from her.

This girl is a beast. She's nice and wide and has really enjoyed being trained. She has tons of potential tops. Going to start nutrients again and aim to flip her to flower in a weeks time.

End of veg for this beast. Maybe not the most flattering term for a lady but that's what she is 😂. She has taking the training well and I can't wait to see what sort of canopy she will give.

All is rosey with this lady. No complaints. Defoliated and ready for flower. Not stretched as much as I would have expected but given its my first grow I'm unsure. A ton of tops with hairs showing everywhere. Can't wait to see this lady develop!

Tops galore. Again not stretched as much as I had hoped but putting that down to the amount of training she has had. She has a lovely even canopy and I'm looking forward to lots of dense nugs! Looking forward to seeing this girl develop. I've never smoked this before but i have had the chance to smell a fellow growers plants that are currently in late flower and it smells unreal!

Loving the frosty look of this canopy, there's buds everywhere. I think she may have been over trained though. I've thinned out a few tops that were never going to come to anything and this weeks pics are the results. I can see at least 20 tops on this beast. Some real nice development going on!

This girls canopy is like a sheet of silver, there are so many tops. She may have been over trained as I had so sacrifice some tops to make room. Another lesson learned. She is starting to fatten up and has a lovely fruity aroma. She is in autopilot right now and I cannot wait for her to finish!

Such a lovely looking lady. Super frosty and smelling super tasty. Fruit and gas! I lost count at 25 tops, some super huge and some smaller but one things for sure, I'm going to be getting lots of good grade weed and very little larf. She is starting to swell up. Will feed next week then start her flush depending on how she is looking. Getting close!!!

So close to harvest for this lady. She smells unreal. Flush starts now. She has the odd cloudy trichome just now. I think she might be ready closer the the 8 week mark.

She's had nothing but water for just over a week. She is starting to fade and is covered in trichomes. I've taken a little sample to try soon. Her trichomes are almost 50 50 white and clear with the odd Amber. I think she will be harvested in the next 3 to 5 days 🤞

This girl had the tops that were ready harvested on day 60. I've left the undergrowth and the remaining tops to continue to develop. I'll likely harvest the rest alongside the Gelato and the Banner at the end of week 10. There's a good amount left. I think I'll be happy with the yield. Some of the smaller buds had dried enough to sample and its amazing, a really clean cerebral high with very little body hit. She give a long lasting high and a great flavour. I can't wait for this to improve. It won't be long till she is in jars and set to cure. I'll do a proper harvest entry when I have dry weights and she has been manicured.

I'm smoking this girl as I type this. I got 70g off the stem from the tops and some of the larger popcorn. The remainder of the popcorn and some tops were left to mature and boy did they. She has now been harvested in full and hung to dry alongside the banner. I'm hoping for another oz or so. I would love to yield over 100g from her. I'll post a harvest entry once the remainder is weighed up and jarred to cure. This girl is amazing. Thank you for your sacrifice 👏

This girl gave me no problems at all. She took topping and LST in her stride. If anything I trained her too much for the space I was giving her. Over half the yield is dense buds. I'm super happy with almost 100g from her. She was harvested in 2 stages to allow the buds below the tops to mature. It was definitely the way to go. Theres a load of larf and trim going into a batch of ice hash. Can't wait. It is covered in resin however once dried the bud isn't sticky at all. The buds haven't dried out like the other strains I am growing (it's likely due to lack of experience to have never seen this before but it put me off). I'm going to let this cure for a long time before smoking it again. I feel it definitely needs it. I've smoked gg4 before and I was expecting more of that however it looks like the pheno I got was leaning more to the ZSkittles end. Didn't pack the punch I was looking for but I've definitely found a great day strain! Strong genetics, strong and vigorous growth. Its what I expected from Barney's 💪👌
