This week was also quiet, the plant growth has slowed down a lot though and probably because of the nutrient burn that was happening.
I flushed the soil and have been giving the plant plain water right now, I'll add small amount of nutrients to the water in coming week probably.
I took a lot of closeup shots of the trichomes but it isn't easy to see what state they are in lol. Some look completely clear, some look milkyish and if I use a magnifying glass things look undeterminate lol. Anyway there's some good shots to look at if anything hahahaha
All flowers have pilstils that have browned in parts not just the few in beginning... I imagine it is also linked to the nutrient burn. Next time I know that I have to use less nutrients or perhaps proper ones.
I will nip a bud from the middle, dry it and try it, hopefully with good result ~
@BagseedBurglar, I got the sensor from a friend of mine, no cost is best cost haha. It certainly is unreliable, I can see some exposed silicon in there and that explains the light sensitivity I observe.
I'll keep the BME280 in mind, it certainly looks much more nicer I'll appreciate the SPI over the weird one wire thing of DHT11.
@MindMeower, I see. DHT sensors are a little bit unreliable IMO. You shouldn't have to place the sensor in a weird spot to get accurate readings! The sensor should ideally be placed flush with the canopy or a couple of inches higher, and be exposed to the ambient air (and not to the microclimate between the soil and the leaves)... I would recommend a BHE280, it is vastly superior to DHT11/22. Cheers and have fun!
@BagseedBurglar, The sensor gives false readings when it is put in the light (temperature goes waaay off and with it the RH reading also). Under a leaf seems to work fine, temperature is ok and RH is not significantly different from elsewhere (if light is blocked) except when I just watered the plant. The sensor hooks up to my server (via LPT port) which controls light cycle and other aspects. I could have used something like an Arduino but the server is 24/7 on anyway and one extra task for it is no problem plus I can do easy logging and if I really wanted, remote access too.
Lady looking great. Happy and healthy for sure. Great work. Keep doing what you've been doing and may the ganja garden gods bless you along the rest if your journey growmie.
Hey, you had a look at my Killer Kush grow diary and I came to have a look at how you were doing, seems like your doing great. If I have one tip for you it would be to check your soil's pH, that being said the nutrients you've added seemed to have helped. All in all you're doing great you'll see this baby really kick off just about now 😉👊 Good luck buddy.
@GrowSweetWeed, ohey ! Things are going pretty good indeed, plant grows along and so far there are no problems, that blueberry mix has done wonders and the plant is really liking it ~ I do plan to get one of the pH meters, if anything to see if things haven't got too acidic since that mix does lower pH. I will do week 5 in couple days, more tho show than if I start a week right away since edits don't actually create any notification etc.
Good luck with your new grows ~
