@@OimRausch, yes of course I checked the water quality here. It is excellent, just a little bit short of Mg. This is why I purchased CalMag but I want to go with epsom salt instead. We will see 😇 I agree on your view on rain water.

@Buddha2, Did you had a check on your local water supplier? Nornally they provide an overview of the ingredients of your tap water. Our tap water is free of Mg and Cal and a PH of 8-8.5, that's why I do not use it to feed the damsels. I'm lucky because I can catch rainwater in 2 big barrels. I'm not a big fan of RO water. I think it is too sterilely to keep anything alive.

@@OimRausch, there is no problem with CalMag, I'm simply not convinced it is needed for me. There should be enough of those elements in the tap water. I was wondering why most European nutrient manufacturers do not offer a CalMag product and then I realized that many people seem to be using RO water because the tap water contains chlorine. So my hypothesis is that you need to substitute those elements when you cannot use natural tap water. In any case I want to test this because I want my grow to be as natural as possible.
