New week...i have started flushing and the countdown has begun Day 78...I choped a bud and let it dry to check potency DAY 82...I am totally disappointed...The girl lost its smell and the dried bud I tried tastes like shit... Its not a matter of curing... I am 100% certain that the nutrient burn affected the trichomes and the oils...This was my first grow and mistakes were deadly...However I have learnt a lot...I am gonna put that girl in darkness and chop her in 3 days...potency is medium I got a slight buzz but the quality of taste and smell are disappointing... I am responsible and not the breeder... KISS, keep it simple stupid, was right... Day 83...I chopped her down...will update when dried

Should I defoliate? The plants havent been trained and big fan leaves shade the lower parts. Will it stress them a lot?

If you don't want a lot of popcorn nugs at the bottom of the plant I would definitely defoliate it's very beneficial to the plant, It shouldn't cause stress either, just take a few at a time and she'll be fine.

OK, since you are seeing/smelling the difference, maybe it is too gone. My issue came as a case of 100% strength feeding. Did yours come to this state, because you were maybe feeding every watering? I would continue to flush, and maybe extend grow out another week or so, to let the plant use remaining nutes, from its internal structure. At that point it may start to get more CBD, depending on how your trichs are doing now. But it is better than bad tasting stuff. FYI, when you cure - - - > 3-5days to dry, then another days in a jar to cure properly.

For what it is worth, and as a lesson learned, here are things that keep me mostly out of trouble with the daily watering/care. * Use only fabric pots, if not already doing * Only feed after 30 days of growing in your permanent soil - - - > assuming quality soil like Ocean Forrest or Roots Organics * Start out feeding only at a 50% strength, then SLOWLY increment the strengths until you see any wierdness, or like the robustness of your plants * Water/feed using only distilled or purified drinking water * Feed once per 7-10 days * When feeding/watering , use enough water or nutes mix, to force it to drain through the bottom or sides(fabric pot) of the pot. This reduces the chance that nutes, salts, etc., accumulate in the soil. For example, I grow in three gallon pots, and I use one whole gal of water or water/nutes. This causes a little liquid to collect in drip pan. I hope you can use some of this, or you may have a firmer plan for your next grow. Don't be too dissapointed, as errors make a better grower, than one who never had to deal with a lot of issues from the get go. That might make me more ignorant than some of the other growers.😏👌

you know the reason your widows leaves is shining on one is excessive nutrients. ive had this happen a few times.. if i remember right, youre meant to lower the nutrients to quarter doses or just plain water for a few days until the shine dissipates.

@sketchi,yes I will reduce nutrients. I feed them each time I water and I foliar fed them which was bad...Thanx

Gotta love them widows. Her genetics will allow to cope with some cooler temps. But if night temps are unmanageable I'd place a small space heater in there. Looking nice BipolarHellas

I've noticed a couple of your plants with those waxy dark green leaves. I'd ease up on the fertilizer. Im a guy that likes to go full strength on the fertilizers (or close to it) but on the weekends I give them a break with just plain PH'ed water. As for the aroma staying on the plant and bringing those terpines out keep your parameters correct in dry/cure. Never have fan blow directly into buds and always in the dark. also try using something like Terpinator or Terpesyn. Since I started using terpesyn I never looked back. These are some mistakes I've made in the past and adjusted so feel I should suggest to u.

Every grow and harvest is a learning experience. Practice makes perfect. It looks like you’ve kept with it nicely, as you have some other good grows. I fell into the exact same trap of over feeding when I switched to coir. Something that’s helped me is using both hydro and dry nutrients at different intervals. Plants in coir like to be fertigated frequently, meaning they like to be fed and watered often. So, what I do is split my weekly feedings up to feed my plants something everyday. Feeding incrementally reduces over feeding by allowing me to catch excesses and deficiencies before they get out of hand, while also allowing me to see what nutes a particular strain may be sensitive to. Additionally, this approach makes it easier to maintain a solid PH in your soil and a solid EC/PPM. I will say this: your buds do look very pretty, so you’re definitely doing something right! Looks much better than my first harvest!
