Plants seem to be coming along nicely, realy picking up in growth, did some low stress training and just built a scrog net.

Should I Defoliate some or let it grow, pros and cons?

I defoliate several times in the grow process. I also use a scrog setup and I learned my lesson when I harvested my first grow and discovered the entire underneath of the canopy was a yellow/light green and nowhere near the Harvest I could have had. I now defol during the last week of veg, then again at the end of the third week of flower and then I continue to pluck a few leaves her and there throughout the rest of the grow. If you are only taking a few leaves her and here behind week 3 of flower, you won’t be stressing the plant and the exposed bud sites will thank you for the additional light. I’ve read that if you pluck only one fan leaf on the side of a node, instead of both sides, the flowering growth spurt will be reduced. I personally take any and all fan leaves that will be blocking bud sites. Don’t be afraid to take a whole bunch of fan leaves off at this stage. Believe me, the leaves will all grow back and you’ll be defoliating again soon. Check out m my diaries if you want to see how much material I take off before flipping. My harvests are much better now and I have much less under fluff that isn’t ripe. I hope this helps!
