These are my 2 little beasts! The shorter one is being fed organic nutrients and the taller one greenhouse feeding. Absolutely loving these plants so far! They will go through some light training to set up 6 or 8 main bud sites. And they still have about 8 weeks of vegetation ahead. Stay tuned!
Both of these monkey mints have clearly different phenotypes. One is bushier and the other just wants to get taller and taller by the day! I will try to make some clones of these soon. I am using greenhouse feeding on the taller plant and organicnutrients on the smaller one.
amazing looking plants so far. The taller one is a Male and being fed greenhouse feeding is looking absolutely amazing with no signs of nutrient deficiency or excess whatsoever. Flipped these 1 week ago to 12/12
Some leaves are yellowing due to my habit of not feeding them enough, afraid of overfeeding. But this plant still looks very happy and the smell is becoming absolutely fantastic.
Started noticing a N deficiency with my female plant. Already top dressed with some bio grow from greenhouse feeding to see if I can correct this. The male is starting to release some pollen wich I will be collecting very soon! 👊
Absolutely love this beast! The smell is just incredible and resinous I can't wait for the results! Hopefully this pollination was sucessfull and I can get more amazing seeds out of it.
I think I managed to fix the nitrogen deficiency but I have now a possible potassium deficiency either starting or ended up being taken care of. You can see some remnants of the polen sacs from a few weeks ago. I hope I can get some nice monkey mints seeds out of this.
Smells like gummy bears absolutely amazing plant! I also have to make some adjustments with the nutrients because the plant is showing some potassium deficiency and possibly Nitrogen.
The smell reminds me of those gorilla bubblegums and gummy bears. I'm thinking in giving this plant 2/3 more weeks before cutting. I don't think there is more than 50 grams but still im happy with the results.
I need to invest in a better temperature, humidty, airflow settings to achieve more production. And I also need a better light because 100w is just not enough for what I aim.
Well, I finally was able to confirm that this plant is successfully fertilized! We got seeds!
Very happy with the result so far. I think I will give her 2 more extra weeks until I see some leaves showing some autumn colours.
The smell is like haribo gummy bears and a nasty smell that I really can't identify yet. Like smelly feet or smelly cheese.
Tell me if you think I should harvest her now or wait a little bit longer!
Absolutely amazing smelling and tasting plant. I cut one branch one week ago and tested it. The taste is hard to explain because it was nothing like I ever smoked before! Tasted like bubblegum, gorilla, lemon, sweet. Genetics truly is everything!
