Whats up GrowDiaries! First grow here, very excited to get going! Setup: + 5 Royal Gorillas Automatic + 5 three gallon fabric air pots + 4by4by79 grow tent + 315W CMH + Coco + Germination Kit w/ Rapid Rooters Plugs + Seedling Heat Mat + 6in fanx2 & 16in adjustable stand fan & 6in exhaust fan + GH Flora Trio/ Supplements + Air pump/ air stone + RH controller + Heat controller + Water Distiller Germination: Setting up the R.R. plugs I actually added a tiny bit of CalMag (8th tsp/G) to 150ppm tap water for the bottom of the tray. Planted 1-23-20. Used a CFL bulb for light. 5 out of 5 germinated on the 3rd day. The first sprout came up day 2. Day 3 from planting while misting I noticed the tap root coming out the bottom of all the seeds so I decided to just put them into 3 gallon pots the next day. I think I planted the seeds a little too deep into the plugs. My coco mix had completely dried up but it was saturated with CalMag. Without flushing, I watered around the seed only in their new giant pots. I turned on my HID at 34 inches above the seedlings. Post Transplant: Day 5 from planting I just used a hand sprayer to keep the top inch or so of the soil saturated, allowing the water to wick to the middle. The water was PH set wth CalMag at 205ppm. Day 6 I finally flushed the soil, pouring around the seedling. It was watered with 5ml CalMag, 1.25 ml Flora micro, .6ml gro, and .6ml bloom, diluted to 205 PPM and 6.1 PH. The runoff was very hot at ~1500 ppm. Day 7 I added in another big fan which the trees loved! Day 8 the top soil had already started to dry out. They were watered with .5ml Armor Si, 5ml CagMag, 2.25ml micro, 2.25ml gro, .6ml bloom, and 5ml diamond nectar at 550 ppm and 6.1 PH. Had 25% runoff at about 1300 ppm. 200 less then last time so the plants probably got what they needed. Aside from watering the R.R.s with tap water, I decided to use distilled water for the remainder of the grow.

Day 8 Switching to watering twice daily. Runoff getting much better! The trees really took off after flushing some of the salts out and giving yummy nutrients and supplements. Lowered the light to 29 inches. Day 9 After 4 fertigations in 2 days the runoff is almost the same color as what is goin in, just a little darker so all is well and good in the root zones! The first 2 fingers are looking good on the trees today! Little hairs growing all over the leaves, seems like these girls are goin to be sticky! I have a air purifier with a charcoal pre filter, so hopefully this will be enough to soak up some strong odors down the road. I went to the thrift store and got a raised pot rack from the kitchen section to help with draining until I set up an auto waste system. Going to set up an auto watering system as well after that while the plants are still small. One of girls didn't grow like her sisters today for some reason. This was the same seedling who wasn't fully upright like the rest right before transplanting. She still looks amazing, just a day behind maybe. Day 10 Looking noice! Now that the run off is good watering .6 quarts twice a day. Humidity issues today but got it back up. I just misted them a lot while the RH was getting better. Day 11 Helping a stem on one stay up stright. It was drooping a little due to the seed hole of the rapid rooter opening at the top where I used a piece to seal it with during germination. Lowered the light to 26 inches. Still doubling in size! Day 12 Raised my pots up to make draining easier. While moving the pots around the one in the middle got tipped over, falling out of her pot! Thought I heard a little snaping noise, some of the roots may of been damaged. Reburied her quick and good so far. I did LST on the other 4. Lowered the light to 22 inches.

Hello! Does anyone have any ideas for how to space the trees under the light to be the most uniform when they get bigger? What kind of training would be best? What if they never stop doubling in size?? Should I PH balance every watering (goes up a little) Hope you enjoy the grow!

Hey friend, So first i think with autos i would be careful with extreme training like topping super cropping or manifolding, unless the plant is performing beyond perfect. Your plants young enough to start making a perfectly even canopy through LST and defoliation (I'm a big supporter of cleaning up the bottoms of popcorn bud sites and drains on the plant) An auto will still stay relatively small especially with good, consistent lst. I'm sure it will double but perhaps look at other diaries of this strain to get an idea of the end sizes. I would ph often if not always..you can check the ph of the runoff and hope its stays consistent, but like the old saying says " an ounce of prevention is worth a pound full of cure." The better the ph stays, the happier the plant and the more available nutrients and less waste or problems to be fixed. Good luck with the training choices and happy growing ✌️

Good amount of LST this week. Growth in full gear. By day 18 the girl in the middle finally healed up from falling and is trying to catch up to her sisters. Lots of undergrowth, hopefully more colas! CMH has extra far red so I wonder if that makes the undergrowth grow taller faster sense it penetrates the canopy. Built a brace from PVC to keep the walls of the tent from sucking in. My LST is totally subpar has I am learning but I think with some defolilation soon it'll all come together! Can't wait for the pistils, maybie a week away!

Noticed pistils coming out day 23! Smell has increased a bit now. Running my charcoal purifier on high. Day 24 did a lot of pruning. Most of the big fan leaves were removed, adding much needed space and air flow. I made butter out of the leaves and it actually got us lit. Got hydro guard and liquid koolbloom which is now getting added to the mix. Did a EC flush today to start the budding process out smooth. The roots actually loved the hydrogaurd, a couple of days after using it I could see the root tips sticking out of their pots. I'm going to try to run with 3 gallon pots for this grow but my second one I'll totally grow tthem into 5 gallon pots.
