Purple lemonade by fast buds

Hello I am back again I have a new light this time it’s a spider farmer sf2000, what a beast fills my 2x4x6 grown tent. I am not sure if I will use the light mover on this because it’s so big but if it causes hot spots I will have no choice. I been starting my seeds different these days and sense I switched I have had 100% germination and pops in 3 to 4 days and with the cost of good seeds you don’t want to lose a single one! Follow these steps for 100% germination in soil. I use rapid rooters they have a small hole for the seed just drop in your seed tear off a small corner and fit it in the hole over the seed then place the pod in the pot you want to grow in and water every day these things are like a sponge with air holes so the seed never sits in a puddle like the peat moss ones .... if you rapid rooters they will work for you they are amazing! I also use a paper clip for the first LST on the little girls it’s amazing what this does to the plant.

Ok I removed her LST I did with the paper clip and as you can see the stem got a lot thicker and a thicker stem means more nutrients to the buds and in a couple of days the stem will have straitened out and after a couple of days of recouping I will top her once that will cause all the lower stuff to come up and create 2 tops where you pinched it I waited to the fifth node and sense the nodes are jammed close together it’s harder to pinch properly so be careful also remember a rule of thumb most auto plants start to flower around the 3rd to 4th week and if done in pre-flower it can stunt it or just slow it down and cause it finish a week or 2 later.

Once again the plants responded well and are recovering very well after the center pinch, now the plants should respond kindly with more branches as the middle heals the lower nodes will pop expanding out and upward sense these plants have such a short grow cycle it’s critical not to over stress these girls in some instances I have completely stunted the growth of a few causing lower yields. Most autos start to flower after 3 to 4 weeks.....Update towards the end of the week I thought I would try a little extra training and decided to remove a couple of fan leaves that were covering bud sites normally I wouldn’t but sense the stocks on these are about 0.5 inches wide I figured they could handle it and with a 10 week life span I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Hi again!, Beginning of week 5 they are bouncing back nicely from additional training from this point on I will just let it grow........but I am afraid I was to late in the initial training I waited to long to pinch I thought it was 5 nodes but ended up being 6 and in theory it should produce more bud sites by slowing down the middle growth it causes the lower nodes to pop and rise up so by the time it reaches the top the middle has recovered and rejoins the rest of the grow resulting in a more even grow and more buds but sadly I see today pre-flowers on all 3 plants ..... pre-flower at this stage right after a training event is not good recovery will cause this plant to be shorter than normal slowing growth - stretching slows all buds could develop close to one another a.d cause different issues but only time will tell .... always love growing autos.

Hello again, This only pertains to short grows of 56 to 63 days longer grows can produce double from a single pinch I have done it countless times. Week 6 I am ashamed to say it looks like I may have effected this grow negatively because it went into flower right after the one and only pinch I normally do on autos but because of that any growing of new nodes stop completely so whatever tops it has at that point that’s all she will ever get and from here on the plant will just focus on producing them beautiful sexy buds that we all love so much. So in the close up ones you can see the buds forming and little to no upward motion of the stems occurred due to the late pinch if I have done this 2 weeks ago it would have branched out nicely and most likely double of what I will get now only other problem 2 weeks back she was only a couple of nodes up I also had a problem with Nitrogen the additive I used in the soil was supposed allow you to reuse your soil but I didn’t realize the N that was is in it was adding to much because of the fox farms so I cut back on the fox farms and only a week later they are coming back. Take aways Never pinch an auto in the forth + week that’s a 56 to 63 day plant as you see from these pics however the buds could surprise me Always check for additional nutrients that may be a re-use soil mix.
