Couldn't resist running some more FastBuds after loving the flavours of the last 4 I've grown, next up are Girl Scout Cookies,Six Shooter and Mexican Airlines.....I will run a thread for each. This thread will be for the Mexican Airlines which will be grown in Plagron Light using the 'Easy Auto Schedule' bookended with Voodoo Juice at the start and Guanokalong Extract at the end. Lights for all three will be from two 75w Grownorthern HS1s. Seeds have been soaked over night and are now in damp paper towels in a warm place, they will be sown tomorrow. Day 1. Both seeds sown are above ground, very eager strain as they had the longest tails when I planted and both were above ground before the Cookies and Six Shooter. I will add pictures daily.

Hey Tang, first off all thank you for your work in the community ! I have a few questions and i hope you can answer them for me. How often and with how much water do you feed your plants at the beginning in the veg. in the bloom and in ovedrive phase ,is there a good rule ? (15L Airpots with Plagron light mix and KindLed K3 L600, Air Temperatur about 24°C) Do you give nutrients with every feeding ? I dont have Cal/Mag, do i need this or is it enough to feed the nutrients from your grows? Kindest Regards, Neevil

@TaNg, Thank you very much !

@Neevil, I water daily from the start and feed daily from day 10 to ten days before harvest. If you google TaNgs Colorado Cookies grow you will find a journal I did with very detailed amounts.

@BigDaddyK, yeah i know its amazingly high but water analysis in this region looks like there is a good amount of Cal/Mag in my tap water so i maybe should be happy about this. After Adding 1,2ml of Bloom A+B the EC is above 1.2 but till now ( Day 24 is ending now ) they are all looking really happy. @TaNg, thanks bro they are all looking good except the biggest lady ( FastBuds GSC 51cm Day 24) showing little sings of N toxicity in her tips ( they are fading ) I thought you had this too (in a few pics of your GSC) or am i wrong ? I think it will stay át 1,2 ml of both A+B for her and will see if she needs more or less. I am trying to add pictures of her but it is not that easy as i am not the one who is growing her. I hope you understand this ! Thank you Bro´s and happy growing !

@Neevil, what you're mention as an N toxicity it is nothing but Cl- (chlor) toxicity and heavy metals you have in your tap watter. Even if you will let the watter sit for a 24 houers it still has a heavy metals in it. The toxicity will be less but still bed affect to your plants. Buy your self an osomus filter and Azomite, that will fix the problem. Or use a mineral watter as i do. But still take a look at the product ingredients if it has more than 16 mg /l of Cl- let the watter sit for a 6-8 houers befor wattering.

TaNgcommented8 years ago
@RiveroCohn, hay bro I soak in water for 24hrs then another 24hrs between some damp paper towel in an air tight box, I then put that box on my digital TVs box which is nice and warm....then when small tails have appeared I plant.

Hello again @TaNg , i am sorry for so much questions i am really new and dont know much, and you are just awesome bro ! After i read your Journal i was totally fascinated by this, great work btw ! My Girls are 17 days old now and looking great. My Problem is that my Tap water comes out at 0,8 EC and i thought this is really high, After 1ml of Bloom A and B its just above 1,1. they are liking it and they have no problems by now. I just raised to 1,2ml for my 3 big girls because they are doin very well and it looks like they also like this. But i am a bit afraid of my EC with Overdrive and Guano at the End it could be a bit too high then. Do you know how much both products together raise the EC ? I think i have a good amount of Cal/Mag in my Tap water and maybe my EC is high because of that, do you know how high is your EC after just adding 1ml Cal/Mag ? Would be awesome to know, so i can consider if it would be better with mix of tap-water and dest. Water + Cal/Mag, or if i can use my tap-water without adjusting EC or CalMag. Sorry for this big letter and i hope you re having a nice day ! Kind Regards, Neevil

@Neevil, you should be ok bro the plants will tell you if the feed is to weak or strong.
BigDaddyK
BigDaddyKcommented8 years ago
@Neevil, wow 800 ppm tap water I thought mine was high at 400 - the ppm of the water should not affect the nutrients- and you can add up to 1000 ppm in bloom - calcium and/or magnesium deficiency shows in the leaves , but normally is a cause of too low ph - you could either buy a ec meter or just trial 👍 Happy growing

Hi TaNg! Been following your grows for a few days now. I'm planning my first grow and i was just wondering what's your feeding shchedule of advanced nutrients for autoflowering strains (this case sativa - think big dutch passion).
BudGod
BudGodcommentedweek 98 years ago
Hey man, what's up? Have you any idea on how much of a difference would it make to harvest this strain at the end of either week 9 or 10? Mostly on the kind of high you will get out of it I mean.
the end.
