Hi all, This is my first grow. So any help or advice wood be grateful. Tbh, I have no idea what I am doing 😳 I started off doing this grow on behalf of somebody else, but they disappeared weeks ago!! Just joined this awesome looking site when I’m 10 week in. For the last 17 days I have been flowering. The plants are 1.4 meters tall. I have added photos, do they look ok??? Like, are they growing well?? Do they look like they will be a lot of product from the plants? How much, best guess? Thanks in advance for any kind help, Katie 😊 xx

Is it normal for humidity to be high when lights off on a 12/12?? Till yesterday it was 80 lights off, 65 lights on. Now I got it to 55 on & 68 off. Plants are 11 weeks, 2 weeks and 3 days into budding. Will humidity up till now spoil the bud? Please please help???

I would say use a dehumidifier if needed, especially if you have a corner you can tuck it in away from plants. I mean I have hydroponics so there is always a risk of too much moisture staying in the tent. I use a oscillating fan in my big tent with a small dehumidifier and an inline duct fan it's overkill. But really I didn't wanna go through all the work of growing it. And have a chance of ruining it with bad air. Umm if you have really good air flow around the buds you might be okay. How big your canopy is and how much space there is and how big your buds get is a factor as well. But really the lower the better. A lot of growers have the theory that a very low humidity before harvest really improves potency.

It is normal but not by that much... Obviously if the soil is wet it will get very humid in there especially when lights are off as its not really evaporating. A few suggestions I have that may help. If you're growing in a tent try opening one or two of the flaps but make sure they are still in darkness. Do you have an exhaust fan, if not you need one and to set it at a higher speed? Maybe try watering less but more often or less but same frequency? Try to increase the temps a bit could help. Also moving the air around with circulating fan will help🌱👍

Hey friend, Yes very normal. My plants always seem to transpire a fair bit at lights off, and even worse if i happen to water late in the day or towards the end of the day. If you have fans keep em on at night, and if you have an exhaust try running it a few hours in the dark cycle to just flush that air out. Something about the drop in temperature seems to send out moisture, i know that isn't overly scientific but it's the truth...it would happen both to my outdoor grow and indoors. Happy growing ✌️

Hi all, My second week posting on here. Just to confirm that the plants are in London, in a basement. 38 plants in a room approximately 4 meters my 3 meter. It’s been a busy one! Lots of jobs done, tho not sure if I’m getting things right... if you’d like to comment please feel welcome to make suggestions, or call me and my ideas stupid lol SATURDAY At the start of the week I started pruning the plants. I removed all buds, leafs and non-main branches from the bottom 20% of the plants. MONDAY After giving the plants a couple of days to recover and so I was sure my pruning didn’t have a negative affect I started removing small buds and all of the older fan leafs from the rest of the plants I started a different watering routine today after learning that the humidity was too high. It was between 65-85. Cropping a lot of the leafs off the plants helped, so did installing fans to suck air in from outside. Also I stopped leaving buckets of water in the grow rooms. Yesterday I did not water the plants at all. So this morning they were all very dry, but looks good too. Today they had a lot to drink. Added more circulation fans too. Anyway, managed to get the humidity to 40 when lights on, and up to 60 when off. Still working on bring it down to below 50 at night. WEDNESDAY Finished pruning today. With half the plants I took off 65% of the leafs, stems and buds, leaving only the bigger bud areas and sugar leafs, plus a few fan leafs.

Not much changed this week.... Trimmed the plants again, removing 70% of the large leafs so the plants can focus on the buds. Also removed all new bud growth too and a few other smaller buds. Aiming to have around 12 buds per plant, fingers crossed. Started using a boost solution along with the feed. Now feed every 2 days. Doing this so that they can dry out between watering/feeding. I’ve sorted out the humidity levels now, however still a little high when lights are off - 58%. Decided to do a 9th week of flowering, but will review this again towards the end of the 8th week. Could do with bring in an heat source for both day and night, temps are around 15 night, and 23 day.

Hey Katie, The plants aren't looking bad i only see a little bit of curling leaves it seems. A lot of people will check out that growweedeasy.com site it has a good broad info on many topics of growing. Good luck

Oh hey p.s. Don't be afraid to play around with the flash or pulling the plants out under regular room light, the flash will help fight any blurs and you'll be able to get nice green photos without the grow lights distraction. ✌️
