Day 9
The other seed has also germinated but still it hasn't grown out of the rock wool yet. I think she will grow in few days. The other one is growing pretty normal, maybe bit slow but these floodlights are piece of s**t.
Day 11
Covered the hydro with black and white plastic to get more out of my system. Also changed the whole reservoir with new nutes and fresh water. This should help my girl alot. Ec 1.0 pH 5.7
Day 12
Changed the whole water and washed the clay. I will update the nutes next week 'cos its easier to follow. The other one still not sprouted 😢 😢
Day 14
Looking healthy. I don't think the other seed is gonna make it but I have others coming so not a big deal. She might have "drowned" in too wet rockwool maybe 😕

I decided not to try to run bioponic system so I changed my water and now I'm just using normal nutes, beneficial bacteria and natural plant growth regulators.
Day 22
Leaves are drooping but otherwise looking good. Maybe my water is not oxygenated enough or something, dunno.
Day 25
Growing good and another one has sprouted! 😇
Day 26
Started to mainline the older one. Growing strong!

Finally the girls have filled the whole grow tent and my new flowering lights should arrive this week so Its almost time to switch to 12/12!
These girls really grow by themselves. I topped the EC of the reservoir to 2.1 to give more boost for the flowering!
New lights have been assembled and I flipped the switch to 12/12 on day 77
This week I also have been using CO2 from the bottle but I don't have regulator so I don't know what is the PPM

Shagrath Flowering week 1
I've been giving lots of CO2 straight from the bottle and next week my solenoid valve and controller should arrive so I can keep the CO2 constantly in 1500PPM. The temps in the tent are almost 30C all the time so it is the optimal with the added CO2.
I realized I have been giving WAY too much Magnesium 'cos I somehow forgot how much magnesium Epsom salt contains. 1g/l Epsom salt (MgSO4) has ~200PPM Mg and 260PPM S so my 1g/l was too much and that is the reason for that early calcium def tool.
I had been pretty lazy and my reservoir was almost empty and EC rose to 3.3 but I filled it up with new nutes and now EC 2.3 pH 5.9
Its crazy how these girls seems to handle any kind of situation without barely even showing any symptoms, or maybe I just know how to treat he ladies 😉🌲❤️
The stretch has begun and I'll try to control it a bit.
I did some defoliation this week to promote bud growth and to lower the humidity in the tent and the girls have responded very well.

Shagrath Buds are forming nicely and the first trichomes have appeared too!
I removed lots of leaves from the upper parts to give more light to lower parts now that I'm not mainlining and I want that larf/popcorn to develop too.
I changed the sunglasses that I use in front of my camera so thats why the color of the pictures have changed a little 😂

Stretch is now over and the buds are forming nicely. I topped the reservoir with water and additives 'cos the plants drink little bit more water than nutes or maybe some of that water dries up dunno. Still healthy girls!
Added 35l of water and nutes but I will update the feeding schedule next week. I gave only NPK 6-6-25 this time to boost the potassium. Ec was 2.9 and now 2.3 and pH 6.4

Shagrath Week 5 of flowering
This whole grow was a little bit too easy and no sad day has come. One of my Critical+ in the same tent produced few balls and pollinated my plants. I don't know how bad the damage is yet but I can see seeds forming here and there..
I hope that there is just a few on the top parts and most of the pollen got stuck on the larf. The frostiness is unbelievable and I might have to do her again without the seeds.
Should a significant number of the flowers become pollinated, the plant will stop producing more flowers and will instead focus its energy on seed production! Bummer!!!
Shagrath Week 6 of flowering
I should have lollipopped way way more this plant. There is lots of popcorn buds coming but atleast they are the most seeded ones and I can always oil/hash out of them 👌

Buds are swelling and not much production anymore. Seeds are also developing and I think that the tops don't have that much seeds in them and most are in the larf.
I moved one Cree led from top to bottom last week and now I moved it to closer to these girls to promote the production of the lower buds/popcorn.
pH has been stable 6.4 no matter what but ec is drifting and I diluted it this week from 3.6->2.8 and now the ec is 2.6
Trichomes are maybe 70% clear and 30%cloudy so I'd say that two weeks and they are ready!

Two girls ripening pretty good and the smaller one is showing some really nice purple colors!
I hope when I pop this strain again I will get that purple on bigger plant 'cos shes just beautiful!
Trichomes are maybe 30%clear/65% cloudy/ 5%Amber so There is still is atleast a week more but I might have to chop this one couple days early due to personal reasons.

I really love the colors on these girls! The other pheno is all dark purple and I wish the bigger one would have gotten the same color too but wow! 😍😍
Ripening up nicely and the harvest is happening in two days'
Girls have been given cold pH'ed water for few days
Pretty easy growing and seemed to handle everything good. High yielder and the buds are dense and FULL of trichomes, like I've never seen that much with my own eye so far. This strain is quite strong and the high is relaxing and happy.

Shagrath HARVEST TIME! - 64 days at 12/12
So I had three different strains growing in the same tent and in the same hydro setup.
SETUP
Lights:
2xCREE CXB3590 50W
1x240W Quantum board with far red, UR and IR
2x120W Quantum board with far red
Tent
Sinowell 60cm x 120cm x 210cm
Hydro
DIY Drip/Ebb & Flood with 90l water reservoir and 60l root zone filled with hydroton
This second grow in the books was a whole lotta easier than the first.
I used pure salts as nutrients and whole lotta additives from different companies and I only changed the water from the rez when I started flushing the girls. I did not adjust the pH or anything else between the topping of the rez. It was so stable all the time that it kinda makes me laugh how good it was!
The whole growing cycle I only topped the reservoir with fresh water, nutrients and additives and tried to understand what nutrients was eaten by the plants and top accordingly.
I also tested the phosphorus myth from Advanced Nutrients (https://issuu.com/advancednutrients/docs/advanced_nutrients_magalog_2017/137) and I tried to keep my phosphorus level under 60PPM at all times and only used mycorhizzae to provide the needed phosphorus.
I did not run in to any major problems with these girls and they looked happy the whole time and my ec was 1.5-3.5 the whole time but still no burn or def/tox nute burn, nothing.
I also used an CO2 bottle and controller and tried to maintain >1300PPM CO2 levels the whole floering cycle while my temps were at 28-30 all the time.
At first I wanted to do nebula haze mainlining for these girsl but it looked like my yield is going to be too small or the veg time would be too long I decided to change the tactics in the middle of the veg and i just kept the side branches too. I feel like they stretched a little bit too much and I did not lollipop them enough so I did not get any huge buds. These buds are small but DENSE af and full of trichomes! Never seen a strain with this much frostiness in it!
Critical + in the same tent produced few pollen sack and pollinated all of the girls so there is some seeds in these buds too but luckily most of it is in the larf tho.
It's sure been long veg and still going on. I changed my plans to fill the whole tent and maximise the yield instead of the original nebula haze mainline. I'm not going to remove the lower side branches to produce only the 8 main colas.
We shall see how this works out or will it.
Today I build a 45l bubbler to my veg tent and I replanted all my vegging plants to this system. All of the plants are growing like nothing happened! 👌 After the transplant I gave them some kelp (ascophyllum nodosum) as a foliar feed to maybe ease the stress and all I can say is that they liked what I did 😋
@Nor_Cal_Kannabliss, It's an DIY hydro. I have 90l water reservoir underneath (I use 80l water MAX) and 65l root zone on top filled with clay pebbles. First it was Ebb & flow but I had some troubles with the water pumping from bottom so now it is a Drip feed/ Ebb & system. I have pump on a timer and there is two lines drilled with holes and they sprinkle the water evenly on the pebbles until the whole root zone is full and timer will stop. This happens 5 times a day. There is two large pipes for over fill protection and one drain in the bottom. Second run this works like a charm :) Oh and I build additional hardening case from wood to the pots just in case. Total cost of this system maybe ~70€ including the pebbles and I suggest using as big as you can find!
@DeadwebsiteBoringcommunity, They sure look good but I managed to turn almost all of the pistils brown but they are still growing some more. I think this strain should flower for 9-10weeks if I can remember.
I love looking over your diaries
Great results
Love to see beautiful dense buds at harvest
I am on my second grow and will be concentrating on trying to produce a nice tight dense buds
Wish me luck
😎🤙
If only a few flowers were pollinated, not much effect on yield and potency. Just nibbed out the buds with seeds during dry trim. Otherwise people get excited to see seeds in the grinder.
@Med_in_Tropic, Good to hear and when I look at the girls thery are still growing and developing so I might not be totally fucked. The actual amount of seeds shall be seen during harvest when I get my hands on the popcorn in the back of the tent. There might be buds full of seeds but the tops are looking decent atleast.
