Week 14 update - week 8 of flower and still smooth sail’n. She’s in great health overall - just Hoping that she starts to bulk up a little more. Seem to be finding that the diesel crosses don’t yield quite as substantially as other strains and this one is looking to be a medium yielder given the extended veg. Time she’s seen. Man - she’s got it where it counts though - scary amount of frost and it just gets better and better every day👌😎👌. She’s starting to show signs of maturity now so we’ve moved to half strength top-offs just to ensure we keep the ppms under 1000. We’ll take ‘er to the end of this week and see where she’s at. Trich monitoring will now be in full affect yall🤟. We’re close now for sure😎😎😎. May 11 update - starting to see some ever so slight yellowing on the tips of the sugar leaves. My guess is that she’s topped out and ready to start finishing up. We’ll change out the res. On half strength solution today and move to plain water top offs. Re-assess and flush once the trichs look ready👍. We are oh-so-close now🤙. Background Finally got the cabinet on empty and ready for the new grow. This cycle we’ll be running all hydro with 3 different strains. Finally managed to troubleshoot and stabilize the res. with the last plant so this will be the measuring stick run for truly jacking out the nute mixture (and hopefully the yield too). This one is from the folks at Humboldt and particularly interesting in terms of genetics. An indica dominant cross of Girl Scout Cookies and True OG. She should be a heavy hitter and expect we’ll mainline ‘er to full effect as best as possible. Can’t say enough about this seed co. - the last run of their 707 was phenomenal as an outdoor and is now a go-to sativa in the ever-expanding selection😉.
