If someone could give me some advice as to what they think my issue is, that would be great.
I believe my problems started as seedlings: I overwatered them. Growth seems to have slowed. I layered hydroton on top and bottoms of the pots to help drainage and water dispersing.
I believe they are just ever so slightly overfed w/ nutes, I can see Nitrogen toxicity in the LSD-25.
My main issue however is the drooping of all the plants. I started by watering them until runoff, but they would stay wet for up to five days or so. I've started to water about 1/10-1/20th of pot size. so about .2 gallons. I try to use plain pH'd water (with Mammoth) every third watering or so.
Any help would be great.
Don't have pics for previous weeks, but they were planted on November 2nd. So it's half through week 3.
Got about 2oz dry per plant. Could have had more without the slowdown in the beginning (over-watering young plants) and with a little more room between plants.
Honestly the Tangie is some of the best smelling smoke I've ever had (grown or other). It smells like definite tangerines, with a mix of pungent dough-like smell. It's amazing. The taste is literally just as good.
A day after it was all dry (drying time: 9 days) I packed a chillum for a friend and he commented on how amazing it tasted.
Definitely will order this strain again. Went a bit long tho.
Relatively easy to trim.
Would love to try this outdoor. If I can yield the same as indoor, I'll continually buy autoflowers (especially the tangie).
I'm not convinced on indoor autos yet for most scenarios tho.
They aren't super stable regarding their flowering time, also you have different phenos sometimes, which made some of my other strains that were the same vary wildly in harvest time.
It yielded well and got very tall. May be good for outdoor if allowed to stretch its full potential.
The smoke wasn't good enough for me to ever order again. Could have been that pheno but ya can't win em all. Really no smell to the GC and no real taste.
Smells strongly of lime. The stem smells absolutely like lime when you scratch it.
Great color, nice deep purples. Nice smell. Yield similar to the others, but 2 of them didn't put off anything because they effectively died during the first few weeks from (maybe) over watering.
I let them grow cuz I had extra space. Didn't yield anything on the other two but thought 'what the heck'.
Hey @GummyFinger , 1st of all thanks for growing our genetics.
As far as your problem you should probably feed them and water them with a part of what you were using so far until the soil is back to normal.
They will allow a little stress. Don't worry.
@GummyFinger, it's probably gonna slow and affect the crop as the first 3 weeks are crucial to the correct development of the plant.
It's not done, but you'll have to put some extra cure from now on.
You'll be ok, still gonna enjoy a decent crop, plus you'll learn from this one and the next one will be twice as great!
@Fast_Buds, Do you mean dial back on the nutes and amount of water? Because they have been drooping for almost two weeks. (Or since week 2)
Will this slow growth/impact yields?
Thanks for the reply. I appreciate that you comment directly on peoples grows with advice.
