Hello and welcome to my second grow! This round I will be doing my first Autoflower, a complementary seed from Canuk seeds🤘 The strain is amnesia auto. As my seed germinates I will prepare the grow area (different location this time) and get my coco ready with a little splash of Cal-Mag February 9th: soaked the bean in filtered water for 24hrs. February 10th: transfer bean to soaking wet paper towel on a plate, place in dark closet. Bean has cracked open! February 11th: her little tap root showing! How cute😄 February 12th update: nothing to report. February 13th update: ok so my first grow was done in an unheated shop. This time I'll be growing in the house. We have tied the run off tray directly to the houses drainage, (unused shower drain in the basement bathroom) now we can flush and water our plants without ever having to worry about what to do with the run off water. Flushing will be fun this time!! It was a serious pain in the ass last time. Next thing to mention is that there are two pots in the room.. my uncle is growing next to mine. I believe he is going with purple punch from barney's farm seeds. And mine will be in the orange 5gal pail. As I did last time I will not be starting in a solo cup. I have just gone ahead and planted directly in the final pot. Seemed to work pretty well last time. Last thing to mention in this long update is, the lights. I will be using the same two lights as my last grow only this time I'll have added ambient light from my uncle's spiderfarmer SF1000. And that concludes today's update! Oh shit, almost forgot. I mixed 1ml of each 3part nute to 5L of water, basically just trace amounts of nutrients. And watered her with about 2L of the mix. Thanks for stopping by✌️ and Happy growing 🌱

Glass/plastic cover on cheap led lights.. do you remove them or not? From keeping reptiles I know that any glass/plastic will reduce UV. Just wondering if anybody's noticed any difference after removing the glass.

Is splash back protection more then anything man, but it does warp UV a bit. I see you got yourself a Spider Farmer though!!! You didn't say anything! Good buy brother! Anywho, the SF has built in water proofing, hence no shield/glass. Personally, regardless of the UV interruption (very very minor for me) I kept the glass screens. Bang your head on it too, and you'll be happy it's there. Bust a diode or get it wet, you could easily be hooped. Just my two cents man. Again, great call on the sf. You won't regret it👍👌

Well things seemed to be off to a good start. Then she just kinda stalled out. Not really sure why either. My uncles plant is right next to mine, they have both been getting fed from the same mixed nute watering can. Both have the same environment parameters. I guess the only real difference besides genetics is the fact that I planted right in my final pot.. whereas my uncle used a solo cup. Could that be what's going on? If so, then why did it work the first time with amazing results!? Haha.. anyways, I'm sure we will get this resolved soon. If not. I may do another Durban poison run. February 27th update. Replanted in a peat cup with pro mix soil. Plain water. Whether or not this decides to take off I have started two Durban poison beans. March 1st update: see last picture

Last week has been slow as far as growth. Planting straight into my final coco pot I think was a mistake. Lesson learned. Moving forward I have transferred her to a small peat cup with pro mix soil instead of coco. I have also taken the advice given to me and have covered my pots with a clear plastic bag to help with humidity. She seems to be slowly recovering. Yay! Wasn't sure if she was going to make it so I threw two durban poison beans in some water on February 27th 2020. March 2nd update: plain water little bits at a time. Things are looking up! March 4th update: definitely seeing improvements, watered with just basic filtered water. March 6th update: back into the 5gal pail. Watered with 1/2 the recommended dose of nutrients. Cheers everyone and happy growing! 🌱✌️

Last week was good. She's made a nice recovery and now I can get back on track. Recap of last week below. March 2nd update: plain water little bits at a time. Things are looking up! March 4th update: definitely seeing improvements, watered with just basic filtered water. March 6th update: back into the 5gal pail. Watered with 1/2 the recommended dose of nutrients. March 10th start of a new grow week: Watered her with mixed nutes today. My DIY co2 generator is still going. Not much I'm sure but get a bubble every few seconds, Hence why I bit the bullet and bought a Exhale co2 bag.. Sorry for a lack of updates everyone.. life has been pretty crazy lately. Stay safe, stay healthy!! Cheers everyone and happy growing! 🌱✌️

Topped her a couple days ago. Not sure if that was a good idea or not, as she is showing large preflowers indicating a switch to flower.. given that it's an auto she will not have much time to recover? Idk. Guess well all find out together! Haha.. March 10th start of a new grow week: Watered her with mixed nutes today. My DIY co2 generator is still going. Not much I'm sure but get a bubble every few seconds, Hence why I bit the bullet and bought a Exhale co2 bag.. March 19th update: fed with mixed nutrients. March 22nd update: topped her once around the 17th or 18th of march 2020. She has responded well to it and is doing great. No water today. life has been pretty crazy lately. Stay safe, stay healthy!! Cheers everyone and happy growing! 🌱✌️

Well she's a petite thing, and probably won't get much from it but I love her all the same. Not blaming genetics as I fucked up in the beginning, lesson learned! 🤓 .. March 26th update. Watered with mixed nutrients. Seeing lots of long white pistils. March 29th update: nothing much to report. Cheers everyone and happy growing! 🌱✌️

Last week went fairly well. This week is on track and she's filling in, still have a while to go. If you stick your nose right up to her you get some nice sweet earthy notes. April 10th update: yesterday I gave her a taste of the PK 13/14 along with the base nutrients. Cheers everyone and happy healthy growing! 🌱✌️

Last week went fairly well. This week is on track and she's filling in, still have a while to go. Very citrusy sent coming off her now. Very very sticky as well. Nothing like the durban at all lol but I guess that's to be expected. April 19th update: been watering her every two to three days with the 3 part base nutrients with big bud coco, pk13/14 additives and alternating use of cal mag. Cheers everyone and happy healthy growing! 🌱✌️

I think in a week or two I'll be switching from big bud coco and pk13/14 to Overdrive. That's all for now. Cheers everyone and happy healthy growing! 🌱✌️

Still super sticky when touched and an extremely strong citrus smell to her. I love it!! Can't wait to try it🤤 I'm now off of big bud and onto Overdrive for the next 1 and half to two, then flush for a week and let her finish off. May 9th update: cleaned and reorganized the grow area. Picked up some gardeners tie wire to spread her open better😉... watered with ph'd mild nutrients and OverDrive. Cheers everyone and happy healthy growing! 🌱✌️

Getting close to end😁😁 now that it's actually nice outside I have her finishing outside for most of the day, bringing her in at night. The natural uv rays should bring on some nice trichome production 🤪 Cheers everyone and happy healthy growing! 🌱✌️
