Last week went fairly well. This week is on track and she's filling in, still have a while to go. Very citrusy sent coming off her now. Very very sticky as well. Nothing like the durban at all lol but I guess that's to be expected.

April 19th update: been watering her every two to three days with the 3 part base nutrients with big bud coco, pk13/14 additives and alternating use of cal mag.

LED glass/plastic cover.

Glass/plastic cover on cheap led lights.. do you remove them or not? From keeping reptiles I know that any glass/plastic will reduce UV. Just wondering if anybody's noticed any difference after removing the glass.

Is splash back protection more then anything man, but it does warp UV a bit. I see you got yourself a Spider Farmer though!!! You didn't say anything! Good buy brother! Anywho, the SF has built in water proofing, hence no shield/glass.

Personally, regardless of the UV interruption (very very minor for me) I kept the glass screens. Bang your head on it too, and you'll be happy it's there. Bust a diode or get it wet, you could easily be hooped.

Just my two cents man. Again, great call on the sf. You won't regret it:+1::ok_hand:
