This run will cover a single FBT31 tester from FastBuds. I have no information about this strain other than that it is autoflowering.
The setup and equipment for this run are as follows:
Tent - 4x4 Vivosun
Lighting - SpiderFarmer SF-4000 w Samsung LM301B diodes and Meanwell ELG240 drivers
Ventilation - 6 in Vivosun 440CFM Inline with 24 inch Can Lite filter, 2 Vivosun oscillating fans
Medium - Promix HP with extra 20% perlite
Container - 2 Gallon Vivosun Grow Bags
2/12 - I began soaking the seed in a plastic shot glass of water. Once it sinks, I will transfer the seed to a moistened rooter cube for germination. ** Seed has sunk after only 2 hours!!! Into the rooter cubes she goes.**
2/15 - Day 1, she's up and quickly opened her cotyledons, exposing her hidden serrated leaf set.
2/16 - Day 2, gave her a little water.
2/18 - Day 4, she's a vigorous little squirt, so I fed her with CANNA Start at 7.5 ml/gal + Hydroguard with ppm coming to 186 ppm and pH adjusted to 6.03. Shes got a thick lil stalk.
2/24 - Day 10, fed her again with seedling solution. She is developing her second node now.
2/27 - Day 13, fed her with a light veg feeding according to the CANNA grow guide and adjusted pH to 6.07. She already has a few roots sticking out the bottom of her pot, so I watered till runoff.
3/3 - Day 18, she has a bunch of roots poking out the bottom, and seems to be pretty happy.
3/4 - Day 19, gave her CALiMAGic (3ml/gal) & Hydroguard with pH adjusted to 6.14. Final runoff was 864 ppm and pH was 6.09. She the healthiest plant I have at the moment. She's short but stout, her main stalk is already as thick or a little thicker than a pencil.
3/8 - Day 23, transplanted her into a 4 gallon container, since the 2 gallon wasnt working out so well, and watered her in with an early veg solution with pH set to 6.14. I also topped her at the 4th node.
3/17 - Day 32, still no pistils yet. She is a squat stocky little thing with thick stems and huge fans that cant be tucked so they have to be defoliated. I LST'd down her lowest 2 nodes today to open up her structure a bit.
3/19 - Day 34, she has some pistils popping now so she should begin stretch very soon. I defoliated a few more fans to allow for better light penetration.
4/5 - Day 51, fed her with early flower nutes with pH adjusted to 5.85. She is putting on an early show of frost and looking good.
4/9 - Day 55, fed her with mid flower nutes with pH adjusted to 5.81. Final runoff was 876 ppm and pH was 6.06.
