Look at the growth after 72 hrs. Seedling is under 24 hrs light 24 inches away under 2 100 watt metal halides. The seedling is under a dome which i take off every few hrs for a few min. What do you think of the twist in the leaf & growth so far she is 1.5 inches.
Sometimes they just do this mate. It might be just this set or it could be strange growth everywhere throughout the entire grow! Most of the time it's harmless and the buds are still good as ever. π
DoctorGreenThumb Few day's into week 2. Changed the lighting from 24-0 to 23-1. Each week I will take an hr off. Might run her on a 20-4 cycle or 18-6. I have only fed her a few oz of water for the first 7 days. Did a lite feeding of Epsom salts day 8. Day 9 i baked up a few cups of compost and mixed it with the pro-mix hp and top dressed her. Day 10 today I misted the top and fed her 5 oz of water after I took the pics. I will add pics every other day through this week so take a gander at her and tell me what you think of her progress π
Day 11 Topped up humidifier and added Epsom salts to it. Plants take in some nutrients through the leaves so the thinking is she will absorb some Magnesium sulfate.
Day 13 feed 400 ml of water 3 inches away from the stem. Water ph was 6.3

DoctorGreenThumb Start of week 3. So I took an hr off the light schedule she is now on 22-2.
Day 15 I top dressed her again with some compost and pro-mix hp mix. Misted the top real good then 20 min later gave her 500mil of water 3 inches away from the stem ph was 6.5.
Day 16 took some more pics. I will add more every other day. So what do you all think of her so far on day 16? Is she behind? Think she is liking the compost? Thanks for checking in and adding to my diary.π
Day 17 fed her 500ml of water ph 6.8 topped up humidifier with water and a pinch of Epsom salts.
Day 18 took more pics. She grew 1.5 inches in the last few days.

Day 22 first signs of a few pistols at the top of the plant.Top of new growth looks like tips of 2 leaves are yellow. Plan is just leave her be and I will take pics tomorrow.
Day 23 retied top. Fed her 500mil of water with 50ppm of molasses at a 6.5ph. I am curious of the yellow tips at the top. It's only at the top everything else is good. If you see a white dot its just Styrofoam that fell on the leaf when i moved her to take the pics. Reply what you think of the yellow tips Thanks.
Day 24 checked leaf temp sitting at 20-22c around the plant. Think what I am going to do is just b4 lights out retie what is needed and pull 1 of the 100 watt Metal halide and replace it with 150 Watt hps. Gives her that extra 50 watts and some different color spectrum.
Day25 she is now under 100watt Metal Halide and a150watt Hps giving her a total of 250watts with a great spectrum. Also fucked around and made a test vid.π I retied the top down and also fed her about 800ml of water with a ph of 6.7.
Day26 Today I fucked up was massaging the upper main stem to bend her back a bit and she cracked.π± So I put a band-aid on her. I feel like shit! So I think I will lose 2 days on her now pleaseπfor her. I broke her after I took today's pics and vid. I also gave her 500ml of water ph 6.5. Thanks for all the support!!!πgreat bunch of people on here.
Day27 Kept her in her box after the fuck up yesterday. Tucked a few leaves around to help some bud sites. Filled up the humidifier added a pinch of Epsom salt to it. Looks like she handled it well. Can't see the wound because of the band-aid.
So I am on day 21. I am running 2 100 watt metal halides. I plan on adding my 150 watt hps. When should I add it and also should I take 1 metal halide out and add it back later?
I would only add the HPS until you flower. If you're low on resources(as in you cant replace all your MH with HPS). Put the HPS directly above the plant then the two MH on the sides to produce as much light as you can to get a larger yield.
DoctorGreenThumb Start of week 5! I will keep her on the 21-3 cycle for now because of the fuck up. I cut the 2 bottom 1 finger leafs off and 1 3 finger leaf. I fed her 1 liter of water at ph of 6.5. Day 29 Plant is looking fine. All that was done was a slight bending of the main stem top bud site. See a few yellowish tips at the upper growth. I will add pics tomorrow.
Day 30 fed 300ml of water with 50ppm of Molasses ph 6.5. 15 min later fed her 500ml of water ph 6.5. Up dated with pics and short vid.Upper growth tips has yellow tips.
Day 31 took pic of the yellow tips. Raked top of the soil and mixed in some glacier rock dust. Misted the dust in with 300ml of water ph 6.6.
Day 32 put an egg shell in 500ml of water an microwaved it to get some calcium out of it. Water was at 5 ppm and got it up to 50 ppm. Let it cool down and fed her ph 6.7.
Day 33 flushed her with 2 gallons of water. First run off was at 2400 ppm all organic. Got her down to 2000 ppm hoping that she will feed on that. 2000 ppm is high but it's organic so hope she will be fine. I plan to let her dry out might take 5-7 days. Then do it again to test the run off and I hope she goes down to 1700-1500 ppm. The ph was 6.7. Reply and tell me what you think. Thanks.

DoctorGreenThumb Start of week 6 she has had some good stretch. I added a 100 watt Metal Halide so now she is under 350 total watts. The 150 watt hps is in the middle of the box and the Halides on each side of it. I am going to keep her going on the 21-3 light cycle. I will add more pics in a few days. Day 37 Some lite defoliation. Also bent down the top of the plant at the main stem. Fed her a small amount of Molasses&Epsom salt 1 liter at 60ppm ph was 6.3

Day 43 Broke down and went into my Gaia Green dry powder 2-8-4. Put 1 tablespoon into 1 liter of water and shook the crap out of it for 20min. Tested the water it was at 560 ppm and 7 ph. So I gave it to her to suck up.π
Day 44 Fed her today again with a small amount of Gaia Green dry powder 2-8-4 with a pinch of Epsom salts.280 ppm @ 6.3ph. So I fed her nice and slow to runoff. Tested the runoff she is at 1700ppm ph of 6.8. I left her at that. I didn't have enough water to keep flushing her to get the ph down in the soil. I like my jugs of water to sit open for 24 hrs. Looks like next watering I will try and flush her with a ph of 5.8
Day 45 Just let her be in her box.
Day 46 Going to leave her in the box and suck up what I fed her on day 44.
Day 47 Let he soak up the light and dry out the soil some more.
Day 48 fed her at 50ppm of Epsom salts per 1 gallon of water @ a ph of 5.8. Tested run off results was 1700 ppm @6.9 ph. Finding it hard to get the ph down on the run off. Looks like when i soak her it takes 4 days to dry out but she still moist at the bottom 1/3 of the pot.
Day 49 left her alone.

Day 51 Grabbed some compost and through it on a baking pan and baked it at 190F for 1.5hrs. Mix it with a small amount of pro-mix hp and top dressed her. Misted the soil with 800ml of water ph was 5.0.
Day 52 Gave her a 180 degree spin in the box. Let her drink up what's in the soil.
Day 53 gave her 2 liters of water with a pinch of Epsom salts. Water ph was 5.0. I am giving her a more acidic ph because the ph of my top dress compost is Alkaline.
Day 54 brought plant upstairs took pics made short vid.
Day 55 gave her 1 liter of water ph was 6.6.
Day 56 gave her 1 liter of water mixed with biofish organic. Mix was at 460 ppm ph was 5.7

Day 65 Today she gets full day outside in the sun. Gave her water to run off @ a ph of 6.5 in the morning. Nice sunny day here in British Columbia Canada.π
Day 66 Put her outside again for the day. Overcast 16c She is looking almost done. Sunny and warm till Tuesday. I might just give her a few more days then give her a 36hr dark period.
Day 67 Put her on the deck for the day to soak up some rays.
Day 68 Back out on the deck around noon. Cooler day overcast. Gave her 500ml of water.
Day 69 Put her out on the deck again gave her 300 mil of water.

Day 71 after 18 hrs of dark I chopped her. She will hang upside down in a closet for next 5-7 days small fan for some air movement not directed on her. Fan leaves I threw into my compost I am making for next year. Any guesses on the dry weight????

Buds are not so tight. I have not smoked any yet wanna let it cure. So I have no clue if it's a day or night high. Gave the woman a test bud, she did the taste test reviewπ³ In the end we got 46.8 grams dry. That is clean with no stock-stems. I give the rating a 8-10 because It's not purple like It is suppose to be. It could be the best smoke in town for all I know. When you advertise Purple Buds you expect Purple Buds. I know it's a seed and You won't always get that phenotype. I do have to say it was a fun ride. Okay I busted down and took a few hoots. Tastes great,clean and is 100% headstone.

DoctorGreenThumb I think I would get a larger harvest if i didn't snap main stem early on. Also if I gave her more compost later on through the grow. I want to thanks all who stopped in and a huge thanks to FastBuds. It was a pleasure to grow and will try and get a bigger harvest with the next grow. Purple Lemonade outdoor.π
Looks very similar to my own Purple Lemonade. I see u had some fox-tailing too which seems to be common with this strain even in the absence of high temperatures. Beautiful job and enjoy your harvest! I am currently harvesting the second of the 3 purple lem plants and will post pics soon.
