No nutrients at this stage just soil and spring water. I gave the soil a soaking pre planting so it’s been moist. I let it continue to dry before planting seeds. They took 2 days to sprout.
Day 3 I gave 75ml to each plant.
Plants remained moist so only gave them 75 ml each on Day 6.
Both plants are happy and healthy. SMA has a bend in stem is this normal and will it correct itself?
Suga is growing slightly slower than North. Although she is 2 days behind in sprouting.
As of now (day 12) I have not used any nutrients just water once a day with 100-200ml of spring water
We are in the middle of the coldest winter for many years so it’s difficult to keep the homemade cabinet warm.
I have started using ferizliser today. Fox farms grow big 1 teaspoon in 1 litre of water. I only used half. Around 250ml in each pot.
Emergency transplant was required as roots growing out the bottom holes of pot. Put them in much larger pots now. As off now leaves are wilted after being pressed against my hand and one leaf (as per photo) broke off in the emergency. Temperatures are still freezing here. I just hope they can survive
***** Plants showing signs of improvement, decided on changing light schedule to 21/3 and switch on full spectrum of lights, purely to keep more heat in the box, controversial step I know , but seems to be helping......slowly *******
So plants seem to have perked up a touch today. I haven’t watered them for days and let them dry out . I think I gave them nutrient burn, overwatering and transplant shock all in one weekend. Next water will just be water no nutrients and then start small with big bloom as opposed to grow big.
Plants have just started to flower at around 4 and a half weeks. I have been very cautious with nutrients since the early dramas.
I have also made a Neem oil spray from fairy liquid, neem extract and water. All seems to be great and the girls look super healthy. Merry Christmas all 🎄
Havent adjusted nutrient amounts and things I have run smoothly. Had an issue when fan stopped working and temp dropped to 15c, plants really didn’t like it and caught a cold for a few days days.
