Aztech Alice Nicole ScrOG

Well, she's off to a unpleasant start. No big deal though, I'll make her right, and most of my seeds (plants) start ugly. This little one started off with a 24 hour soak in R.O. water, then into a 16 ounce Solo cup filled with pure Canna Coco coir. . At 78F for 12 days before sprouting. Only water pH to 6.0 this week My initial plan is to up pot to a 1 gallon, and then up to 7 gallons. She will get her own 2x4 tent and ScrOG'd out to fill with a few layers of trellis netting. Her main meat and potatoes will be Canna Coco A+B, with Cannazym and a weekly dose of Recharge. I have little experience growing in coco, and will be using Canna nutrients in a drain to waste method for the first time. Let's see if this plan works out😬. Peace out growers! DeaneR 😎

This girl isn't looking all that happy😬, and hasn't since her birth. Hopefully a transplant into a bigger pot with some worm castings will help her out. The photos above were taken just before lights out, and the plant is drooping before going to sleep. Started feeding this girl lightly Canna A and B at 1mL each per litre of R.O. water. This came out to 320ppm and a pH of 5.8. Some roots are poking out the drainage holes in the bottom of the cup. Time to get her into a 1 gallon pot of Canna coco. Day and night temps are 82 F. Despite numerous attempts to edit it, this program keeps displaying 50😡. Peace, DeaneR😎

She is still having some issues but continues to grow. The transplant to a 1 gallon pot with Canna coco and 150 mL of Gaia Green worm castings mixed in has helped her. The solo cup she came out of was fully rooted and starting to become rootbound. This is my first run with bottled nutrients and I need to get her dialed in, on a Strain I have never grown. On day 21 I topped her and defoliated her big fan leaves to expose the young shoots at each node site to the light. I plan to use LST to keep her low and squat and prepare her for a ScrOG trellis netting style of grow. Day and night temps are 82 F, a glitch in this program displays 50. Happy Growing! This girl is really coming along well after several weeks of struggle. She is well rooted and rebounding quickly from LST. Trying to keep her tied down and spread out in preperation for ScrOG. My girl was showing issues at the start of the week (see photo 1). Some deficiencies appeared, and I suspected a nutrient lockout due to pH. Gave her a good flush of plain water pH'd to 6.0. Then I gave her a good feed (as noted above) with plenty of runoff. Thankfully, 2 days later she is looking much better. Finished the week with some LST and Defoliation. Thanks for stopping in! Time to ScrOG!!!! So...I was looking @ A1420's diary on this Alice Nicole strain, and couldn't help but notice she is a stretcher. With this in mind. I am starting her ScrOG with a trellis setup that is attached to the pot, and therefore mobile. She resides in a five foot tall tent ( I smell trouble), and will likely need to be relocated to a taller tent. I hope to use some of her stretch to fill the remainder of her ScrOG trellis🙏. WEEK 11 Started the week with a light schedule flip to 12/12 Day 72. On day 75, the first Pistols started to appear. Going to call WEEK 12 the first week of flower😀😁😃, finally!!! I'm going to utilize the stretch period (fingers crossed) to fill out the remainder of the trellis, and will likely add a second and third trellis layer later if needed. Some of the foliage was looking a little pale, so I up'ed the Canna A,B,Z up some to a total of 800ppm. Stay safe! Peace, DeaneR😎

WEEK 1 Flowering😀. Oh boy!! This plant is going to outgrow this tents height in no time. The trellis Height is 20 inches from the floor, and the plant is currently 10 inches through the trellis. This leaves only 8 inches of growth, to reach 18 inches from the light. Good thing She's still mobile. I foresee a move next week. Tidied up her undercarriage with some defoliation on Day 6 of flower and applied some diatomaceous earth to fight fungus gnats. I'm happy with the bud formation this early into flowering. The inter-nodal spacing looks good, and the buds should stack nicely. My apologies for the shaky camera work and the changes in white balance levels. The video was taken with a tablet....so, it is what it is and I'm no Steven Spielberg😑. Grow on People! Peace, DeaneR😎

WEEK 2 of Flowering!😀 "Cotton balls" everywhere! The pistils are popping out stigmas and trichomes are starting to form😃. Only a hint of smell so far (mostly during lights out). This plant is drinking a gallon a day, and keeping the humidity at 55-60% RH in the tent, requires alot of ventilation. I hope she doesn't outstretch this tent 🙏. Happy 420 Everyone! Week 3 of Flower😀 This week was all about defoliating this girl to improve light penetration and airflow. This cleanup took place over the course of three days to help alleviate any stress on this girl. This girl is in a 5 ft tall tent, and thankfully the flowering stretch has slowed. I currently have the ES300 light 18 inches from the plant, and the light is 4 inches from being pinned to the ceiling of the tent. If needed, I can take the plant off her riser, and gain another 3 inches. This means I can accommodate another 7 inches of growth before the light becomes less than 18 inches from the bud tops. Week 4 of Flower😃 The stretch has stopped! My fears of my tent running out of headroom are over😄. No new height growth this week. Buds are starting to fill in and frosting up. She smells awesome, nice and sweet. This Sativa dominant hybrid has a 9 week flowering time... so only about 45% through flowering. Yeah! 5 More weeks of Flower!!! Peace, DeaneR😎

Week 5 of Flower 😀! She is slowly filling in this week, and bulking up. She smells fantastic. A sweet, lightly perfumed, floral smell. Reminds me somewhat of hand soap, or body wash. She is still drinking a gallon a day, and I feed her every time I water (2 gallons every other day), with little runoff. I started using a fertilization technique coined as "trickling", (Canna PK 13/14 @ 0.33mL/L = 1.25mL/US Gal of water) for a light PK boost this week. Next week she gets the full dosage of PK 13/14 @1.5mL/L or 5.7mL/US Gal of water, for a one week period. About a month left till harvest😍. Thanks for stopping in! Alice Nicole ScrOG Week 6 of Flower 😀! She is still drinking a gallon a day, and I feed her every time I water (2 gallons every other day), with little runoff. I ran out of CannaZym, and will finish my bottle fed grows without it. This week she was boosted with Canna PK 13/14. The full dosage of PK 13/14 @1.5mL/L or 6mL/US Gal of water, for a one week period. This worked out to three feedings. About three weeks left till harvest😍. Alice Nicole ScrOG Week 7 of Flower. The buds are putting on weight. Some stems can't handle it, and buds are doing "The Flintstone Flop" (remember that?) She is still drinking a gallon a day. Heat wave next week, with high humidity, uggh! Had to fire up the old "window shaker" air conditioner for the first time this year, and it's doing a good job of maintaining mid 60's.
