Another grow off and running.
I'm real excited to grow this one. Using Canna coco coir and Canna nutrients in the drain to waste style.
Going to Mainline her out to 8 or 16 tops, not sure yet.
The photos above were taken just before lights out, and the plants are drooping before going to sleep. Started feeding this girl lightly Canna A and B at 1mL each per litre of R.O. water. This came out to 320ppm and a pH of 5.8. Some roots are poking out the drainage holes in the bottom of the cup. Time to get her into a 1 gallon pot of Canna coco.
Peace,
DeaneR😎
She has improved this week, with some nutrient burn, but continues to grow. The transplant on Day 15 to a 1 gallon pot with Canna coco and 150 mL of Gaia Green worm castings mixed in has helped her. The solo cup she came out of was fully rooted and starting to become rootbound. This is my first run with bottled nutrients and I need to get her dialed in, on a Strain I have never grown. On day 21 I topped her at the fifth node, and defoliated her big fan leaves to expose the young shoots at each node site to the light. I plan to start her main-line training next week after a little more growth. Day and night temps are around 79 to 82 F. I've included some VPD charts that capture my 2x4 ft. tent environmental parameters.
Happy Growing!

And we are off and Main-lining!!!!😃
She grew well this week. This is a real pretty plant, and it was a little painful to defoliate her so much for Main-lining.
At the rate she is growing, I suspect she will out root this 1 gallon pot soon. Day and night temps are about 82F.
Thanks for viewing!
I hope your grows are a great success.

DeaneR😎
This week went well.
On day 34 she went into a 10 Gallon Fabric Pot (final home) filled with Canna Coco Coir and 10 Tablespoons of Gaia Green Organic Grow 4-4-4 mixed throughout.
The dry amendment should help her through the next 4 weeks and allow me to use less bottled nutrients.
The transplant hole and root ball received a dusting of Great White.
On Day 35, 8 main (cola) tops are started on this main-line. I hope to take her to 16 tops, perhaps 32...let's see how she grows out😉. Day and Night temperatures are from 80 -82 F.

I hope your grows are a great success.

Shaping up nicely so far.
Roots are starting to fill in this 10 Gallon pot after her transplant last week.
Starting to see a quicker uptake of water, nutrients, and faster growth.
This is going to get interesting training wise as more and more tops form😬.

Growing nicely this week.
This strain really responds well to Main-Lining.
At 16 Main Tops so far. I'll likely grow her out with 16.

This plant is coming along beautifully. Very happy so far.
At this point I have 16 main tops for cola sites established.
She is quite a hedgehog and requires frequent defoliating.
I need to let her 16 mains grow up in height and get them adequately spaced out for flowering.
I want to take my time and get her veg'd out proper prior to flowering.
I hope you all like lots of photos😄.

Growing great, very pleased. The trunk is as thick as my thumb on this shorty.
Unfortunately I broke the zipper pull on my tent. That was the last way I thought a zipper would fail, POS,😡.
Time to put a ring on this little lady!
Thanks for stopping in!

Week 10 - I put a ring on this little lady.
The ring is an old drum-skin hoop that I recycled from a 16 inch diameter floor tom tom. Perfect size for this 10 gallon pot. It is affixed to some plastic coated metal stake with zip-ties. This plant is growing nicely and coming into shape for the flowering stage. Going to 12/12 light schedule week 12.

WEEK 11
This plant continues to impress me.
The branch I broke back on Day 66 (WEEK 10) is healing and has shown signs of new growth. This branch was completely snapped and only hung together by a little outer stem tissue. My quick repair with electrical tape saved this branch, although its' growth has somewhat slowed down, it is praying towards the light again😊.
I have started to ramp up her nutrients, and will start to slowly bring down humidity levels.
According to pulsegrow.com, My ideal VPD range for flowering should be in the 1.2kPa to 1.5kPa range. So @ 79-80F, I'll need to shoot for a Relative Humidity of about 60%.
This plant is ready for flowering!!! Flipping to 12/12 light schedule WEEK 12 Day 78😍.
Stay safe and grow on!
Peace,
DeaneR😎
WEEK 12
Well...despite 7 days of 12/12 light cycle, no pistils are appearing, so let's call this another vegetative week.
She drinks about a gallon a day, and has filled her half of the tent. This girl is defoliated, and her 16 branches are ready for flower.
At this point in the growth cycle, I'm aiming for a VPD value of around 1.3-1.4 Kpa, as circled on the chart above. I applied some diatomaceous earth into the top inch of my pots, to try to kill the larva and pupa stages of the fungus Gnat. I have a few adult fliers ( EF'n FUNgus gnats...urgh!!) buzzing around my house, and must try to keep their numbers knocked down.
Hopefully this plant spits out some pistils soon! I can't wait to see her flower!😍

WEEK 1 of Flower 😀!
Happy 420 Everyone! Spark her up!!!
Finally this girl is flowering after 87 days of vegetation!
Her environment is dialed in (for now).
Let the flower show begin!!!!
Thanks for viewing 😃!

WEEK 2 of Flower!😀
Wow! She stretched 6 inches this week.
Looks like she is going to produce some nice colas!
I'm excited to open the tent each day, and see the new growth.
After such a long veg period, it's nice to see her budding up.
Stay tuned (up),
much more to come.
Peace,
DeaneR😎
Week 3 of Flower😃.
She grew 1 inch in height this week. The stretch is finished.
I'm happy with her progress . She is looking nice and frosty.
This is a quick flower period variety ( 48-53 days ), so I added Canna PK 13/14 to the feed.
I'm using a fertilization technique coined as "trickling" for the PK boost this week @ 0.33mL/L or 1.25mL/US Gal of water.
Next week she gets the full dosage of PK 13/14 @1.5mL/L or 5.7mL/US Gal of water, for a one week period.
Thanks for stopping in!
Keep on Growin'
Peace,
DeaneR😎
Week 4 of Flower 😀.
This week she received her one week feed of full strength Canna Pk 13/14.
This worked out to two feedings of 6mL/ US Gallon for the week.
This Mango Sapphire is really frosting out nicely!!!
Stay Safe and Keep on Growin' !

Mango Sapphire Main-line
Week 5 of Flower 😀!
This Mango Sapphire continues to frost up nicely!!! The photos don't show her true beauty.
According to Humboldt Seed Organization, Mango Sapphire has a short flowering period (might have to try her outdoors),
that takes only 48-53 days, so it is time to start dialing back her feedings.
Stay Safe and Keep on Growin' !

Mango Sapphire Main-Line
Week 6 of Flower 😀.
She looks great, she smells great, and I can't wait!!!
Only another 7 to 10 Days or so till harvest 😍.
Time to start scoping the trichomes.😛
Thanks for stopping in!
Be sure to come back for the finish.
Stay Safe and Keep on Growin' !
