ADDED A SECOND RUN BECAUSE I WAS UNHAPPY WITH FIRST WEEKS: PARALLEL GROW (SAME SEEDS) GORILLA GLUE #2 AND PURPLE PUNCH #2 - same feeding regiment - same containers - Already getting a bit of their smell! lovely. The stretch is real: i think i will not let my plants veg under the old LED fixture i have. although there is some strechting going on, i suspect these to grow into small sized auto's however.

week 3 is a go. filling this out afterwards so having some trouble recollecting to be fair. - #1 this week went up to 800ppm for the first batch. switching to flower nutes for batch #1. - #2 second batch is getting about 550 right now, with mostly just some calmag, and a little nirvana and supertrhrive ph'd to 6.4 ideally. - looking like run #1 is starting to go into preflower which is nice because our previous 'aautoflowers" didnt' flower automatically even after 8 weeks. - recalibrated PH pens. I probably need a new one (or store it differently) - after running a full decontamination in the form of nematodes, still the fungus gnats seem to find their way in after some time. Seeing only a few here and there though luckily.

- cranked up the LST this week and mate is doing a beautiful job bending run #1. - #2 batch two is also coming along nicely. way better than the start of #1. have good hopes for this one. now lets not overfeed it or fuck it up otherwise - #1 batch gettting slightly more nutes (connaisseur bloom and some bud factor and candy have been added to the regime: shouts out to GratefulGrower) - both batches seee their first real sunlight this week. these girls are happy as can be. - #2 batch two had a slight burn. i think it was a light burn so i reased the lights another few centimeters but also found out that our timer had shut off for 5 (!!) hours. So their clock has shifted 5 hours. wondering if that might cause light burn? - both: also adjusted the feedings' pH aim between 5.8 and 6.4.

- #1 started adding some slight pk boosting and still giving calmag. - this week i've flushed both PP#1 and GG#1 because signs of toxicity (i think it was lightburn but i wanted to be sure so i flushed it with tap water and then fed it with nutrient solution until there was significant runoff) - #2 round two is doing great. they are also loving the real sunlight :)

is it possible that light burn appears when (by accident) the day/night schedule shifts (in this case 5 hour forward) ? week 4 is ost apparent

If you are asking, "did my light coming on 5 hrs early, cause light burn", I would have to say no. Timers are constantly screwing up, or power outages wreak havoc with your setup timings, but I have not seen that symptom. I see in your diary comments, you thought you saw toxicity earlier, and had exposed it to sunlight? This may be a previous issue, and moving plants from grow lights to natural sun, to me, would make the plant react differently. IMO, if your grow lights do not provide IR and other natural (non-blue,non-red) lighting, that could be a problem.

i hope to have finally managed to pinpoint whats wrong with the first run (PP#1 and GG#1) both have entered flower and have started producing pretty decent flowers , although there is a lot of yellowing on the older leaves. i think this might have to do with the type and the amound of nitrogen i've been supplying. Added more connaisseur this week and also mixed it up with a hit of the plagron grow to make sure they bot hget a diverse meal of nitrogen :) also, run #2 is doing great. some minor burns on the leaftips (which i had anticipated because i'm using a 900 ppm solution on plants that are just barely into folower. for these i'm upping the nutes with some molasses to help them get the sugars in their first few weeks of flower al the while i'm lowering the dosages on other nutes to stop the burn from getting out of hand.
