Way back sometime last year I was given some cuttings from a mates Barneys Farm Red Diesel Mother .
At the time I didn't have the room so I only grew one out then used another one to make feminised pollen with STS solution and the third I chucked in the ground out in
my Herbal Garden. Because my mate had kept the clones on an 18 hour light cycle as soon as they went outside , they immediately tried to initiate flowering.
But...... It was nearly spring and the days were getting longer rather than shorter so after a few weeks of trying to bloom she gave up and reverted to revegetating.
Fast forward to Now February 2020 and she's starting to Flower once again. This time however the days Are getting shorter so there will be no worries of it revegging all over
again. During all of this time since planting I haven't really bothered her much other than to water , occasionly feed and perform the LST training to keep her at as close
to ground level as possible. This is essential as a Nosey neighbour lives on the other side of the fence and I don't want her to see it . Don't believe any of that Ramsey street neighbours are good friends bullshit you see on the television, some of them are assholes hehehehe 😎 Anyway So now she's flowering I thought I'd chuck up a diary for her as I rank the Red Diesel ( which unfortunately is to be discontinued from Barney's range) very highly as a quality strain. I had better also start to feed her a bit more than occasional seaweed solution and worm castings so I'll start with a weekly feed of Liquid potash and increase if needed. The plant itself is all over the place but basically mostly covers an area of about a metre squared give or take a bit here and there. 😁 Allright lets Grow!!!!
Revegetated Barneys Farm Red diesel Cutting Diary
25th Feb 2020
The First week of flowering seems to have gone well
there are little buds forming all over the plant.
It really responded well to the Liquid potassium (potash)
All I need now is for the sun to come back out. We have had
some wild, wet and windy weather here and have had very little sunshine. Hopefully we don't get too much rain but luckily where it's growing is very well draining.
I checked the ph it's 6.3 and 6.4 in the two areas I checked with the bluelab soil probe. Depending on how much rain
we end up getting I may need to refertilise at the end of the week, but will wait and see how it goes for now.
That is all I have to report for this week cheers for reading . 👍

Finally some sunshine!!! we haven't had any for other a week due to the generally Overcast and at times wet weather.
I'd say the stretch is definately over now from the looks and the buds are all starting to develop nicely.
I don't wan't to get to far ahead of myself or count chickens before they hatch so to speak but by the looks of all these bud sites I can see ,
I may yet get a few Oz from her. 😀 That'd be fantastic!!
So as for feeds I gave her a half cup of Dr Greenthumbs Bud n Bloom mix
qtr cup of Dolomite Lime
qtr cup Epsom salts
and drinks of "High Tea" that I brewed during the week.
That is about all for this weeks update Once again thanks for checking it out 👍

Man this smell brings back all the good memories of the last time I grew this strain. 😍 I'ts pure Gas and still the best smelling Diesel variety I have tried so far.
It's also tasty as all fuck and I was surprised and saddened to see that Barneys were discontinuing it as a Strain variety 😓
But I suppose if it wasn't a good seller then it had to make room for New stuff and thats also a good thing .
Back to this grow and I'm very happy with this plants size considering it started out as a tiny clone from a good Mother and is now looking likely to yield me a few
Jars of Top shelf Buds. 🙏 I do worry about what the weather will be doing in about 5-6 weeks time as she's relatively unprotected from heavy rains unless I
construct some type of Cover for her. 😏
Checked Soil ph and temp and it was 6.4 and 23 c Also gave a good feed of a few goodies and watered it in well . The native bee's seem to like her too
as there's always a few hanging around during the day.
Thats it For this week
Cheers for taking the time to check out my update 👍

The Rain is Back and last night we saw just over 25mm dumped here where I'm at. 😫
Went out this morning and this girl looked pretty wet and sorry for herself.
Not a lot I can do about it until she dries out again. Ive also had a minor issue with an unwanted male plant I didn't even know existed deciding
to pop up in my garden and pollinate the Red diesel plant. 😬
Could be a good thing but I am unsure as to the origins of this Male pollen donor. 😏
All I can think of is that it came from an old batch of reg seeds I chucked away awhile back.
Somehow one of them must have ended up in the garden. The reason I didnt notice it until today was because it was only about a foot high with an
indica appearence and was hidden amongst some other garden plants.
The heavy rain flattened the plants revealing the male. As soon as I saw it I immediately did a good check of the Red diesel and sure enough it has been seeded.
If I hadn't of found the male I would have assumed it had hermied and would have destroyed any seeds.
But they should be ok and I'll throw some of the seeds in the ground this winter to see how they turn out.
I havent been needing to feed or water due to the rain, but will probably need to add some Monsta bud once she dries out a bit.
Thanks for checking out this weeks update
See you all next week and stay safe all 👍👊

Red Diesel revegged Clone Grow
6 weeks of Flowering Completed
24th March 2020
Well another week has passed by and I find myself stuck at home under self isolation 😟 Not because I am sick but simply to do my part in limiting the spread of the virus.
This plant continues to grow nicely albeit she has several seeded buds that I can see.
She still smells and feels like she is developing resin so I'm not that worried about poor quality buds. Depending on the weather I aim to harvest her in about 2 weeks time.
The seeds that are developing should be mature by then but i will definately sample a few to be certain.
Feeds she had for this week were aprox 15 Litres of a mix containing Monstabud @10mls/L & Seaweed solution @1ml/L
The sun is back here for the next few days so I hope she makes the most of it 😎
That is all for this week Thankyou for stopping by and taking the time to read my update 👍
Stay well ✊

Hi everyone I hope you are all well.
Despite the rain and high humidity this plant is still hanging in there. She is super resilient and so far she seems to be mold resistant 💪
However I do not wanna push my luck too far and will probably harvest at the end of the week .
Thanks once again for reading my diary update & I shall see you next week 👍
Barneys Farm Red Diesel
Revegged Clone
Harvest 8th April 2020
Riteo sorry about about the shit photos I need to add more light to my pics .
This was another very successful grow completed with nearly 8 ounces of tasty as fuck Red Diesel in the jars .
They do have a few seeds in them from the unknown male that had its way with her 😁 but I'm very happy with outcome regardless 😀
Red Diesel is an extremely easy to grow , Mold and pest resistant variety and one of my personal favourite diesel strains. If you happen to see it for sale I would reccomend you try it as
Barneys Farm have discontinued it from their lineup so it wont be around for much longer.
Thankyou to everyone who liked my updates from week to week and to those that followed . 👍
Lovely garden you got there. Some happy and healthy ladies for sure. Always so jelouse of outdoor grows. Spectacular work. Keep doing whatever you have been doing and may the ganja garden gods bless you with good fortunes till the end.
