Started with 4 stardawgs last week but only 1 popped out of them so thought I may as well see what the new strains the mailman delivered have to offer!
Beggining of week 3 (day 15) these girls are looking really good already. Was slightly concerned about the stardawg because it's leafs were real twisted and deformed bug I think its starting to grow out of what ever was causing it. When I compare them to the cream cookies they have progressed way more. I think it must have been to do with the lights being too close. Who knows. Anyway clicked the dimlux up to 245 now so producing a bit more heat and turned the extraction on to get some air circulation. Only problem is that it has dropped the humidity, this hasn't really been much of a problem before but will keep an eye on it.
Day 28 Well was all going nicely, plants were looking great. So decided to start bending them over and lsting them. Stardawg was fine probably because it is a bit ahead of the other girls. I got a little too confident and decided to go on the others. This guy went and snapped the gelato in half like a total helmet! Quickly got some tape on her and braced her up. About 10 mins passed and she looks really bad. Hopefully she will pull through but I ain't gonna hold me breath!
I really am so chuffed at how these girls have veged out. The zkittlez and the smoothie are both showing signs of pre flower. The stardawg hasn't yet. The gelato is also showing some signs too. So gutted I snapped the gelato coz I think she would be looking like the other 2 by now. Also quite surprised at the stardawg she was really deformed to start with but I think she is gonna turn out to be a pretty big girl. This week am gonna get the scrog net out and start training them a bit an try and get a nice canopy going.
Beggining of week 6 now and the stardawg is only now going into preflower so I don't know how I am gonna deal with her once she starts stretching coz she is gonna be massive. I think if I hadn't snapped the gelato in half then she would have been a bit like the stardawg and zkittlez so she is pretty lanky now. All was going great filled up my DIY dripper system and the bottle ripped and a 2 l bottle landed straight on the stardawg and snapped a branch right at the stem. Tied her up hopefully she will be OK. So that 3/4 snapped at some point now! I really thought I was past that stage now.
All going great until my little mishap last week. I can't believe that the zkittlez didn't really seem that bothered from the main cola being snapped. Maybe a bit stunted but no wilting at all. Super stretch on all the other 3 hopefully that will stop coz gonna run out of room. Stardawg is showing some weird growth deformaties twisted leaves etc and is a bit behind from the other 3 but hopefully that won't cause to many issues.
Watering evert 2 days now. Outside temps are getting better here now so is helping inside the tent. Am continuing with water, feed with nutes, feed with blackstrap mollases regime which seems to be working nice. I think the smoothie is going to be the big yielder out of all of the girls. That may have something to do with me not breaking any part of it yet. I had to supercrop the stardawg just because she was stretching so much. Not really sure how well she will yield as she is quite behind the others on bud development. All other 3 are showing nice trichome development.
Onwards and upwards!
Buds are getting fatter each day and they are stacking up with trichomes! Looking smells delish! The stardawg is way behind hopefully it will come to something just don't know how long it will take!
All looking pretty good. The stardawg is just showing trichomes which is pretty far behind the other 3. The zkittlez and gelato are looking like they are nearly ready which is awesome as we are only now starting week 10. Smoothie looks absolutely awesome. However, the buds are really airey. Gelato and zkittlez buds are pretty dense and I have been feeding them all the same amounts so can't figure it out unless that is just the way the strain goes.
All going good think I will start flushing the three that are ahead as the stardawg is pretty behind although I do think she will come to something. Colas are stacked on the smoothie gelato is looking good and zkittlez is good just slightly stumped but that is probably my fault. Really can't help to think what the gelato would have turned out like if I hadn't have snapped her low down in the early days. Anyway trichomes are getting pretty much there so will probably be chopping them the end of 12.
Day 77 beggining of week 12. These girls are gonna be ready to chop in the next few days trichomes are looking pretty well balanced. The smell is just amazing they are so resinous. Just brushing up against them leaves a sticky stench on your skin. Think I kinda fucked up with the stardawg should have maybe kept it on veg nutes for longer because she is really suffering from nitrogen deficiency now but guess it's too late to do anything about it. I reckon she would have been my biggest yeilder yet if everything would have gone to plan but she was a strange plant from the go with lots of leaf mutations and was really slow into flower compared with the other 3 and she was also nearly 10 days younger than the others too. Buds are super dense on the zkittlez and gelato and medium on the smoothie. Am looking forward to getting these copped and up to hang.
Was a bit disappointed in the outcome of this one as I thought it was gonna bring me the highest quality and quantity out of all 4. Maybe I could have left her longer bud the buds were really airey. Will see how the others come on in the next round with the strain all being the same.
Worst one so far. Was originally gonna run a full hit of stardawg. Out of 5 seeds only 1 popped. Never had that before so am a bit surprised if it was fault on my behalf. Anyway this 1 was about 10 days ahead of the others and seemed pretty doomed from the start. Lots of mutations. However I probably should have given more grow nutes for longer as she was really struggling near the end of flower. She was by far the biggest and had the potential to be a massive yeilder. Am surprised I got 43g of half decent bud as all the rest is gonna be made into something else.
@@GreenGrowGreen,she was the only seed to pop out of 5 and she has such strange growth patterns. Not like other autos. But I don't have anything to compare her to. Maybe it's just a bad seed. Can @Fast_Buds shed any light?
You're plants look like thier doing really well, I'm also doing a Fastbuds strain Auto Zkittlez. I've defoliated it and it's doing pretty well tbf. Its pre flowering/ pre flower stretching. Happy growing

@@GreenGrowGreen,haha yeah I know. Sometimes it can be a total gamble. When I have new seeds I like to see how they all grow before running a whole run of them although sometimes that can be hit or miss with the genetics. Cheers. The tent is 900x900 and yeah the are only 12l fabric pots. I was running 15l plastic pots and I don't think there was a huge difference in yield. I got 12ls coz I thought I could squeeze 6 in which is possible, but again depends on genetics. Think I will purchase 15l fabrics next time I need to.
@punxneverdead, Heheheh, yeah she loves to take her time. My deal was, I grew an auto to cut time short because of a possible move... had I known shed be long to grow, I would have grown a femenized XD, oh well. I won't complain if the quality is top! (falvor and effects). Your grows look amazing! What size is that tent? Are those really all 12liter pots? I'm in a small tent, room for just one plant, with an 11L pot.

In 11gal pots she won't be "massive", it's an auto and all the growers here except one dude with a monster, using big lights n pits, grow small or medium. Expect 70-80cm max.
