1 Week old clones from Mother Caboose.
CLones are resettling in after a infestation from an unknown bug. Clay balls had to be washed in 9% hydrogen peroxide.
My first HydroGrow!
Week 2 into veg.
Finally starting to take off healthily, after a bad case of white slimy build up. I suspect due to over using pH down that is organic, Citric acid based plus having both Bloom and veg lighting on, which made the tent and reservoir water warm. Veg light is left on only now which has changed the temperature dramatically!
Reservoir had to be removed and cleaned, plus everything else. The smell was horrendous, Imagine 1000 peoples farts 💩 trapped in one room..😂😭
Used bleach to clean. A big thank you to my Partner for helping me clean and his guidance. Please check his Diary out

Unfortunately one of my clones ended up slimy and sick looking ( possible start of root rot 😭 ), so I removed it and replaced it with another Caboose clone I had sitting in the same room in a bottom of a cut out milk carton ( LOL :D ).
Other clones have been removed which where in milk carton bottoms, but one is being used for a Bonsai. 🙏
Also, that replaced clone ended up with waxy claw leaves, I believe it was from being in the milk carton bottom and having fluctuating pH levels ( 6.7 - 7.5 From the white slime and warm water ) and no where for the extra water to go so it was drinking everything, since being in the new clay balls and having cooler proper pH'd water the newer set of leaves look better. 👌
Four have been completely topped, and the newer clone has been fimmed ( experimental purposes ) plus some sick leaves removed ( pH'd fluctuated leaves and yellow leaves )
Hand made drip system made also.
Water change and fresh nutrients as well.
This week I had to use Neem Oil as a preventative for Gnats, as my partners room was swarming with them. Luckily I didn't get a single one!
2.5 ml to 500mls water, spray bottle on the clay balls only.
The neem oil did raise the pH, but not dramatically.
I should have started to bend and train the girls this week, but never did. I know, lazy right?💀
HST - heavy feeding - defoliation this week. Should of been done last week *shameface* now some of them are very top heavy and are starting to bend, this is also due to having my clones way to long to begin with. They should have been a lot shorter. 😤
Very happy they have finally picked up from such a bad start in the beginning.
loving how short and bushy they are. 😃
Next week will be changing to Flower Cycle 👽
I will update this asap. Sorry everyone!
Keeping an eye out for possible start of rootrot . Due to the resovior being 28 degrees.
Sadly cannot afford to get the equipment I need to fix this problem.
PH is on the rise also due to the temperature.l around 6.9 to 7.1
Using pH down to control it.
This week the girls got their first taste of boost accelerator. 150 mls.
@TheNug,
Thank you, I was a bit concerned but glad to hear from another grower their looking good.
Nice grows you have on yours aswell. I'll be watching yours too, looks like you have experience i can learn from!
Looking fantastic buddy. Theres nothing I like more than seeing fresh clones rooting in their new medium. Looks like we are all in store for some pretty great stuff with this grow. I'm excited to see how you decide to train them as well as what your nutrient feeding plans are. Should be a fantastic time for all to see. Best wishes buddy :D
